Also, i bought a target because they said i need one, and ended up not using it because people left their targets behind, and plenty of targets (I mean plenty). So only bring one if you want a fresh target, because they are used even though they are left behind. On a quiet day, you won't need to buy one I bet. It's frustrating but it's not a deal breaker. Just wish they had better communication skills and management. Update: I asked the wait time again, and the man said "2 hours". I went inside to get my refund and leave. Disappointing. I just got a new gun. My rating is now a 2.

It even already has the tri lug for a suppressor. It's used but damn near half the price of a new one. I'm intrigued. This smaller gun store even has a shooting range that is clean, well maintained and well run. I really enjoyed this gun shop, especially the staff, and I suspect I will be returning regularly. Oh, by the way, they have rental firearms as well that covers the entire spectrum of types and interests. I love shopping local smaller businesses and this is definitely one of these. The game area can supposedly handle 20v20 and it was quite spacious and fun with the variety of inflatable barriers. Pricing seemed fair as well. I do have a few points of feedback that I hope will get implemented: First, they give you the option of paying an extra $5 for better blasters, or $10 extra to rent automatic Rival blasters that can hold 200 rounds and almost fire across the whole battlefield. This potentially makes battles VERY lopsided if you have teams loaded up on Rival blasters vs traditional/standard dart blasters. Felt like pay to win. Second, I hope they consider dart only or Rival only options for battles. Evens the playing field. Rivals shoot at ~100FPS and more than doubles the range of most of these dart blasters. Modified blasters are not allowed which I totally agree with, but also that should be made clearer for all on their website and during registration. Lastly, blaster safety was not really taught and rules rarely enforced. Kids were firing off their weapons in safe zones where goggles were off and no one said anything. Barrels were aimed at faces and ricochets from misfires were frequent in the safe areas. It's a lot to manage I get it... but again I'd love to see the same awesome staff enforce stricter rules around blaster safety. Oh also they need to Velcro down the barriers! They fell over too easily. All in all this place is great taking into account the things mentioned. Not sure we'd come back since a few in our party felt it was too lopsided during our session.

Awesome and thank you! The drive from Lakewood was quick and when we arrived, there weren't too many other trekkers to share the course with. That said, the course is huge and even with others filtering in throughout the day, it didn't seem crowded. The course is multi-leveled and offers varying difficulties. Green is the least difficult; blue is moderate and black is the most challenging. These are all aerial challenges and you're harnessed in at all times. Even so, though, this is def a mind game as well as the physical element of each challenge. This is a half day experience and we'd recommend bringing a cooler with lunch with you, so that you can take a break mid day, rest your bones and mind, have some grub and then go again. There aren't any food options at the course itself, but they do welcome outside food. There are several flat lander activities to occupy your time while you have lunch / break and watch others testing their physical and mental capacities above you (corn hole, for example). We had a blast and even ventured to the highest level and completed a few of the challenges there. On the fourth level, I imagine we were 50+ feet high in the sky. The winds were significant. Holy cow. It was all terrifyingly fun! We didn't take many pictures as anything you brought with you on the course was at your own risk. There are cubbies on the ground level to keep your belongings as well as water to refresh you. Staff are peppered everywhere to monitor safety but not intrusive. Definitely take a look at their website. It was so work the $49 regular price and I often see Groupons advertised. Def go!

About the NRA membership; when we lost our location norh of Golden we were able to purchase the new range at Watkins. It was made possible by a loan from the NRA and the NRA membership rule followed that. The location was a mess and it took many many work partys to clean it up. Since then a lot has been added to the amenities and all in all it's one of the best ranges within reasonable distance from the metro area. There Are a few other clubs that you can join in the area that have no better amenities and higher membership fees. I rarely use the shotgun facilities but it's always a good experience. I guess I could be written off as one of the snooty old guard but I'm not and I've never seen anyone treated poorly by other members.

My biggest complaint is that I have maintained a membership to teach my kids how to shoot. The staff is in caring and in hospital to teaching kids. With no consideration for one family to use a single lane with one person shooting at a time ... on a mostly vacant range. Even if those who are not shooting are waiting in a vehicle. The club has mismanaged members funds for years with a lot going to subsidize skeet and trap tournaments for non members. For the rifle/pistol range there are no provisions for members to practice multiple targets or train for IDPA/action pistol or 3 gun competitions. The range is often sporadically closed making it difficult at times to use the range. When competitions are hosted they call cease fires every 5-10 minutes. For 5 -10 minutes making it extremely difficult for others to use the range. At other times the member who happens to be the RO while actively shooting will go for 45minutes plus before calling a cease fire. Resulting in others waiting to setup/clean up for extended periods. This pertains to the ENTIRE range for cease fires. The Skeet and trap ranges are open to the public, but members using primarily the rifle range have to subsidize it. The club does not offer any classes or promote or host any NRA classes or events. The club is failing in promoting marksmen-ship or outreach to grow the shooting community. I'll be investing my money and time elsewhere and regret wasting thousands of dollars on membership dues.

So... my husband did a bit of research and said Ten Back is where I'd have to go to pick and drill a new thing to throw down. Surprisingly, he wasn't wrong! Hehe. Mason was the one to measure my throwing hand the two times I stopped in for a new curve ball. In addition, he made sure to observe my bowling style prior to drilling and adjusted the finger holes afterwards. Oh, Ten Back also offers detox (oil extraction), polishing, sanding, and cleaning too! Plus, they sell shoes and other accessories. Sorry... a teeny tiny excited to share. I love bowling and Ten Back helped restore that love a little more.

Previously…read morehe did something to his reel so I dropped it off at Valley Country for a repair, the staff member was so helpful and knowledgeable of all types of reels, rods, lures, local fishing baits and techniques she totally impressed me. I picked up a new reel since we were fishing the next day at a very reasonable price along with some various other items so the grandson could fish while his reel was being repaired. When I got back in town I headed back to pick up a 2nd rod and the same helpful staff member who helped me with repairs on the first reel was there and once again impressed me with her knowledge of fishing rods. My grandson is 9 and still learning to fish so she set him up with a balanced rod to go with the previously repaired reel. A great Eagle Claw Featherlight, great sensitivity and easy for him to handle, and most of all very reasonably priced. I am a big fan of local small businesses and will always support them, everything in the store was reasonably priced and well stocked. Variety of fresh bait and a plethora of knowledge on current conditions in the area.
