I was very impressed with Fowler Plumbing from the initial contact through the completion of the service. When I first contacted Joe and described my plumbing issues(Back Flow Valve), he gave me different options on how to purchase the item. Joes then set a repair time. Joe, knowing my time is important to me, called and told me there was going to be a delay in the appointment time. Understanding this eased any frustrations. This is an update to my previous review. When Fowler came out to replace one of our water heaters they didn't turn the solar pump back on so the water in our solar panels froze during the freeze and broke. A waterfall was coming down from my roof so I called Fowler and told them about the problem. The owner or manager (don't know if this guy was one or the other or both) said he'd come take a look, made an appointment to come over but never showed up and never called me. I called and left a message and never got a call back. I called another company to come do repairs and when they inspected the water heater that Fowler replaced last year it was actually installed incorrectly. All of the piping was done wrong. It had to be redone as well as repair to the solar panel. Also, since the pump was turned off by Fowler way back in November the solar wasn't even being used. I had wondered why my electric bill went up for all those months. My total repairs for their negligence were about $2000. My advice, don't have them work on anything solar and, if you do, take pictures of all the piping BEFORE they begin work as well as check any equipment controls to make sure they are back ON or at the proper settings. read more

We had a main line back up into our showers and Kel from Fowler came out and snaked our whole house. It didn't clear so we thought it was a septic tank issue so we had JJ septic who was awesome come and pump the tank. There was still a back up after the tank had been pumped so in a panic we called Fowler again and Joe the owner and Kel came out within a couple hours and cleared it out of the smallest pipe leading to the septic tank and they didn't leave until it was clear! So professional and so nice to my little boy. Fowler has always been the plumber we have called for many years and they are very knowledgable, reasonably priced and honest. I was reminded how great they are when our tankless water heater, which Kel (One of Fowler's best) installed perfectly a year ago, stopped working. I was out of town on business when the wife sent me a text saying the water heater blew-out and was flooding the laundry room. Being stuck in meetings out of town, there wan not much I could do to help. So I told her to get out the credit card and do the best she could. She ended calling a bunch of places and either got voice mail, or was told it would be days before they could come out to look at it. Except these guys. They actually answered the phone (which is becoming increasingly uncommon with plumbers these days), walked her through the steps she needed to do to shut down the water heater and still have water in the house, then came out the next day first thing in the morning, and replaced the water heater for a fair price. A++++++++ As good as it gets!!! Last night about 3:00am my bathtub and toilets start going crazy on me. Water, water, water just EVERYWHERE. So I call Fowler , I spoke with the owner Joe, very polite and professional and most importantly knowledgeable and helpful. Joe was able to make out the things I was saying, I didn't even know what I was saying but he was able to get all the information he needed to send out a team member. He let me know someone will be here within the hour. About 10 minutes later I received a call from Kel to let me know he was on his way. We've had these guys out to our house twice now for a backed up toilet. The first time, the toilet started backing up again a few weeks later but was plunge-able. Then we called again, also asking them to fix a leaky bathroom sink. The guy came out, and after I explained that this was a chronic problem, he said it was probably just toilet paper...which I didn't think was the case. He didn't look beyond that but unclogged it. He told me the sink needed a new seal and he would have to order that part. Immediately after he left I walked into the bathroom and water was leaking out of the pipe that supplies the toilet. I immediately called him back and he returned and told me that was because there was still water backed up in the pipe. Why he only did half of the job originally, I don't know. After he left, I never heard back about the part that was supposedly ordered to fix the sink and 3 weeks later the toilet backed up again. Maybe I just got a lazy plumber sent out to my place, but I'm not particularly impressed with the service. read more
