Called Mitch regarding a gas to propane conversion on new LG Wash Tower washer/dryer combo. While other companies (including Ameri-gas) said they couldn't do it. Kyle came (same day) and had it done in a little over an hour. He had never seen the appliance before (brand new from LG), but looked at the "limited" installation manual, Googled a few references and then figured it out. No one knows everything about every appliance as other reviewers seem to expect. LG does not train plumbers or appliance repair companies. Someone like Kyle takes the time and care to figure it out. Moved into a rental May 10th, about a week later the kitchen sink backed up. We called our landlord and he said to call Mitch, he uses him for all his jobs. Mitch comes out and states that he's been out a few time to this residence to snake the kitchen sink. We pay if I remember correctly $130 for him to do so. Less than a month later the sink is backed up again, I decide I'm not going to call Mitch because it seems that whatever he's doing is just a band aid. Roto Rooter comes out, I tell the guy my story. He immediately goes out to the trap, located underneath the kitchen sink window, opens it up and it's FILLED with sludge!!! Roto Rooter says "ya, I wouldn't recommend you use that guy again". Don't judge someones capabilities in doing their job based on how many years they've been doing it. Mitch supposedly has 35+.......yet he missed this, when a young guy about 30 years old spotted it right away?? Either Mitch is not too bright or he neglected on purpose so that he could keep collecting money to snake it every time it would inevitably back up. I wish I could get my money back!!! Fallbrook Plumbing gets the job done right. A neighbor recommended I contact them for more challenging plumbing problems. In my case, the water lines (when my house was built 26 years ago) for house and yard irrigation were combined, such that if I went on vacation and wished to shut off house water, but leave the irrigation on, it wasn't possible. Additionally, my whole house water purification system was going to need replacement twice as quickly because all of the irrigation water was running through the Halo filter cartridge. Not only did Mitch assess and solve the problem, separating house water from irrigation pipe lines, but he also replaced two Kohler toilets, using the correct height reinforced wax ring. The original toilets installed by the builder had used wax rings that were fine for thin vinyl flooring, but not the right size for ceramic tile floors. The wax seal was failing and beginning to leak. Again, Fallbrook Plumbing knew what to do to remedy sub-standard work, and I could not be happier with the results. They are considerate and professional, cleaning up meticulously after the job was complete. I highly recommend this company because they know what to do to get the job done right. Nice people but way, way way over charged. To convert a stove to propane ( something the propane companies use to do for free) I was charged $260. What was normally a 30 to 45 minute job ended up to be a 2+ hour job. Part of the charge was while Kyle was reading the instructions as to how to do it. So I paid for professional service and the training time for him to learn the job yet the Hourly is for an expert. Save your money, hire a handyman. After reading other yelps it appears that tactic is not usual for them. read more

Mitch is a great, experienced and most importantly honest plumber. My kitchen sink had poor water pressure and he quoted me $295.00 to fix and replace the entire faucet. While he was fixing the issue he found the problem with the existing faucet and was able to fix the issue while keeping my original faucet fixture. I have been a home owner for 7 years now and everything about being a home owner is AMAZING except when something breaks. As a renter you don't worry about stuff like that because you just call your landlord and they deal with it at their expense. Saturday morning. Backed up kitchen sink and high water bill. Mitch answered the phone, I didn't have to leave a message. He had one job ahead of me and was out in a couple of hours. He verified the issue with the sink and snaked it. He pressure tested the whole house, and the house separately from the irrigation. Identified minor leak with one toilet and replaced flapper seal and adjusted float level. Also identified minor leak with irrigation system. I was pleased with the promptness, professionalism, quality of the work. I believe I received a good value for what he charged me. I would use again. Note: There is another company with a similar name called Fallbrook Rooter and Drain. Don't confuse the two. Fallbrook Rooter and drain is terrible. read more
