Not quite sure what to think or say, so I won't praise or damn them in the rating of stars. I do know I have had my doubts. I asked two different people about them on two different occasions, and the response was the same on both occasions: "Let my silence speak for me." I thought such responses were more than a little disturbing, especially as the comments came from businesses around them at their location on Main Street in Madison.
They have always come promptly when contacted, and they seem like nice and reputable and reliable people. The daughter in particular seems very nice. I noticed they have distributed fliers in the past offering seasonal checkups for HVAC equipment, and I have had them come to do checkups and they always found something wrong that needed fixing at no little expense. Many businesses offer "checkups," and it makes you wonder if the checkups are just a way of finding a way to drum up income, and maybe no repairs were actually needed at all.
They also have done repairs without clarifying to me in advance what the cost of parts and labor would be.
Again, not sure what exactly to think about this business, but I know I'll be trying one or two other local HVAC businesses in the future, in hopes of relieving these doubts. read more
