They showed up a few minutes before the appointment and put on shoe covers. They found the problem and fixed it. Then fixed the same problem in the other bathroom, which just hadn't started leaking yet. While they might be a little more expensive than some, they were fast, knowledgeable, and provided great service. I will call them again when I have need of a plumber.

We asked for service on a tankless water heating system and replacing a pipe under a bathroom sink…read more The first task was slightly different because the previous owner had set up an excellent but unique system in the house. Some of the pipes had build up from hard water. However, all the repair needed was replacing a part in the tankless system that caused the leaking. The build up was cleaned and looked like it had resolved after we had upgraded our water softener solution. While the individuals who came were kind, the first one took 3 hours and then had to call in a supervisor for the tankless system and piping. It was wasting my time working part-time from home while caring for a newborn full-time. Then, I asked multiple times for an estimate and they skirted around the question. When they looked at the sink pipe, they just put plumber's tape around it. The job wasn't finished when they sent an overpriced invoice. They said it was an error. We asked twice for an itemized invoice which they never sent. Also, we told them not to come back to finish the job if they would charge more. They promised not to charge more, came, and then charged more. Now, the water system is connected to a heated floor system installed by the previous owner of the house. Multiple professionals commented on how well the previous owner installed the system - including Blauch Brothers. Since they touched the system, it does not work. When asked if they could fix it for free since they likely did something, they evaded the question with "we can help you by looking at it" but not saying clearly whether they could do it free or not. It is understandable if they couldn't do it for free, but the lack of clarity was disappointing. We will likely pursue the previous plumbing company as they were dependable, efficient, and reasonably priced. They were just not available at this time, so that is why we tried Blauch Brothers. The biggest advantage this company has is that the people were polite and you could get an appointment quickly.

I called Blauch Brothers on a Saturday morning and they were able to arrange for a plumber to come. Josh was so amazing! He cleared up the backup quickly and was very friendly and professional!

Burgess Plumbing has worked for me twice and I highly recommend them. First, they fixed a commode…read morethat was leaking at the base. The previous owners of the home did a major remodel and apparently didn't use the correct adapter to raise the height for new flooring. It works great now. Second, they fixed the master bath commode plus they also installed a 36-inch vanity to replace a pedestal sink. Both of these look wonderful and work well. Mrs. Burgess is always very professional and pleasant on the phone. The repair people were prompt, knowledgeable, and cleaned up so you wouldn't know they'd been there. The prices were fair and they sent the bills in the mail, which was convenient for me. I had trouble believing the experience Lynn M. reports and wonder if that person has some other issue. I checked Lynn M.'s list of reports and notice another very negative report to a well and pump business just 3 months earlier. I did reach out to Yelp, but they replied that they reviewed the review before and decided to let it stand. All I can tell you is that my two experiences with Burgess Plumbing were great and I have dealt with other plumbers in past years in various cities. I have a few other plumbing wish list items to do in the future and I am happy I found Burgess Plumbing to help me with those too.

They were right there…read morewhen I had a time crunch on closing a house and a last-minute issue in the ductwork caused by a crawl space mold-abatement project by a different contractor. They checked it out and took care of it, at some cost to their schedule, I"m sure. I was able to close on time, thanks to them! Throughout the process they kept me informed of both the cost and the progress, and the costs were very reasonable. Finally, their accounting and notification systems are amazing. I received an email about what the tech was going out to look at, based on my explanation of the problem before he got there. When the tech went to the truck after his work, I got an email with the analysis and the bill, which I could pay online right then, or later if I wished. The whole process worked not just like clockwork, but like a very expensive Swiss watch. Or a lunar landing. And, they were pleasant, forthcoming about what was likely wrong, and also frank about what they couldn't say until they saw the problem. They treated me as if I had a brain and was likely able to understand what they told me. They believed what I said. All in all, this was a great experience, with great people of great integrity, a great notification and billing system, and, of course, they fixed the problem. I had used TNT before for a general maintenance call, mainly because I love their logo. They were great then, too. Didn't overcharge me, and when I called to see if they needed to come back for the fall, they said no, I was done. No point in paying for that, they said. And they were right! I recommend TNT without reservation. Wish I had known about them years before! R Culbertson
