I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.

In November 2025, I sought bids to have hard wood floors put in a bedroom I am converting into a pantry and to have my existing kitchen and entryway refinished so that everything would match and I would have ample time for the floors to cure before the pantry installation. Knots Flooring was one of the companies that came to bid the work but I ended up using another company and it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my life. After two other companies came out and totally botched three refinishing jobs, I had to swallow my pride and reach back out to Knots Flooring for help. Athena was so lovely and gracious when I reached out to her to apologize for not using them and when I admitted that I really messed up but I needed their help desperately. Regardless of my poor decision making, they didn't hesitate for one second to come to my rescue. My pantry installation was scheduled to start on February 10th and despite the short notice, Knots flooring put me on their schedule immediately so I could keep the timeline for my project while allowing ample time for the job to be done well and for the floors to cure. I'm just now getting around to writing the review as the disgust has mounted over seeing every day the "wavey" carpet in the Master Bedroom, in addition, the unacceptable way they proposed to handle the matter. Within a year and a half of the carpet being installed the carpet began to develop significant 2"- 3" high waves or rolls every 8'-10'. Cleary a very poor install job in the Master as the other rooms have no problems. After calling them out to see it, their solution was to re-stretch they're poor installation in the Master Bedroom for $800!! When I challenged them, the response was quite nonchalant stating "that's what it costs" which is unfortunate because I really like the carpet. BUT, they didn't stand behind their work. When it comes to eventually recarpeting and reinstalling our wood flooring I won't be calling All Flooring Design.

Then when cleaning the heating ducts below the registers I saw all the debris from the LVP install. The installers had swept all the debris from cutting the planks into the ducts instead of properly disposing. Now there are unhealthy particles circulating throughout the house. Sloppy job that resulted in a hazardous situation.

After connecting with Simply Floors early 2026 because of the shredding carpet and after a couple of inspections and coordination with the manufacturer of the carpet, I now have the replacement installed (June 1, 2026). The installation was a good process this time and the carpet will most likely hold up very well. Good installation, done within a reasonable time frame and confirmation of details beforehand was achieved. Would have given 5 stars if this was how it went in the beginning. Although I wouldn't recommend one company over another, I would recommend solid communication with all involved, especially with the install crew and company together so everyone is on the same page from the beginning and not just futile lip service. Follow-up inquiries are also important. Would I work with this company again---probably, since they came through with corrections.

It was a very easy process and looks great. I would say it's not a bargain (only slightly less than the competition) but looks fabulous and was a very easy process. You get what you pay for and I think we got a great looking carpet at a fair price with minimal hassle.
