My woodburning furnace flue was a bit complicated and an absolute mess (worst of the year, according to Scott). He went over the associated problems and possible solutions, with an emphasis on safety issues. The fireplace will be getting an insert, and Scott made recommendations for a few fixes that I could do myself. Service Monkey dropped the $200.00 charge, which we appreciated greatly.l Guess this is just ab example of the importance of communication...from both parties. Anyway, thank you, Service Monkey. Asked Service Monkey to give me a price to repair a gas leak AFTER an inspection was made by our HOA. Made an appointment to look at the problem. I'm going to have to call a different company to come and fix my stove. I absolutely recommend using someone other than service monkey if you want your job that right.

Once I moved into the new house and I started using the fireplace it would stop working after a few minutes of use. After repeated calls and texts over 19 months this sub contractor finally came out to fix it. Darryl Sparkman replaced 2 parts (and didn't think these or the labor should be covered under a warranty). The next time I used the fireplace I noticed that one of the ceramic logs was broken, most of the logs were not placed back in the correct positions and the flames were blue (gas not adjusted correctly). I asked him to come back to fix these issues on Sept 25, 2016, he has told me twice that he could come out to fix these issues but as of today Oct 25, 2016 he has not been here to fix anything. I would not recommend doing any business with Sparkmaster Mechanical or Darryl Sparkman.

Mark knows woodstoves like Stephen Hawking knew physics. I will absolutely work with Mark for any future woodstove need we have. We have a weird little fireplace in our living room (narrow and shallow) and I know that Mark would be the person to figure out what to do with that. Mark came to our house and figured out all of the installation parameters. Safe and Warm gets its name from its combined business: and gun safes. Mark also carries gas burners and fire pits.
