After posting the above, management called and we successfully agreed on the work requirements, tech hourly charge and parts pricing. Management took 40% off the original invoice, and we were pleased with the outome.

Paul from Ben Franklin knows my wacko high efficiency system and all of its issues when others have just scratched their heads. They are awesome! We stated working with them when they replaced our previous boiler and hot water tank. Andy (the owner) did phenomenal work on this, and our new system has worked perfectly for years now. Additionally, they've fixed a handful of plumbing problems, again without issue. Most recently, they installed wifi thermostats for us on common makers, a tricky install that allows old two-wire systems to host powered digital thermostats. The new thermostats were buggy and kept shorting out, but Andy and his team were tireless in their efforts to troubleshoot the problem multiple times until they identified the problem and found a solution, all while honoring their original installation at no extra charge. Their rates are also reasonable and fair. I can't recommend Ridgeline Mechanical enough.
