I have never been to Four Town Farm until recently, but always heard wonderful rave reviews from family members who get their corn and other fresh produce for gatherings throughout the year. I am glad I had a chance to visit before Thanksgiving to stock up on some goodies! If you've been to Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, Four Town is kind of similar, although the rustic farmhouse-chic shop does not have a prepared foods counter. However, they more than make up for it with all the amazing vegetables and fruits grown onsite. I was very impressed with the Honeycrisp Apples and Butternut Squash, as well as their wide selection of house made jellies and salad dressings. In addition to Four Town's slate of offerings, they also showcase other local vendors such as Wrights Dairy Farm's milk and cakes and Venda Ravioli's frozen fresh pasta and sauces. Four Town also carries fresh flowers and greenery that is holiday-ready - Christmas Trees and decorative wreaths and evergreen garlands. The team is friendly and offers excellent assistance in recommendations and recipe ideas- everyone we interacted with was delightful. This is a great stop along the way to lunch or dinner in neighboring Warren or Bristol, and a lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon! read more

Went for strawberry picking today and it ends at 4 and they close at 6 which i didn't know it wasn't mentioned on the website nor social media page. So I went ahead and bought a container of strawberries and they were so fragrant and delicious but half of them were all mushy and squished to the point that it wasn't edible it was gross and very disappointing because it was over $8 for a quart of the strawberries. read more

Hello, this Is a great way to get your fresh vegetables, clean, organized!! A great variety of pastries as well. The staff here are awesome, very knowledgeable of products. read more

I love everything about Four Town Farm. The market itself has great baked goods, fresh produce, some fun items you won't find at a typical grocery store etc. I love that depending on the season they have different pick your own options- pumpkins, flowers, strawberries. They have a nice coy pond outside that the kids I babysit for love to go see every time we come, they even have two goats that you can visit- Dixie and Belle! read more

Four town farm strawberry picking is so fun! Nice juicy strawberries. We have also been for the fall. Their pumpkins aren't picked off the vine, I don't think they're grown on location but they have a tractor ride and a small corn maze that is really a lot of fun! We have a toddler and it's big enough for her to do, but not so large she gets bored and needs to be carried. I love their "farm stand" which is actually a huge building. They sell local small brands like wrights farm coffee and Warwick ice cream. Everything's a little pricier than you'd find elsewhere, but the selection is diverse and it's really a nice vibe to go check out. Shout out to the cute little goats they have too! read more

Boy oh boy you couldn't ask for more beautiful freshly picked produce. This farm stand is a cut above most of those we've visited, everything looks like it's been picked within hours of display, honestly haven't seen any place quite like this one. We really didn't need much so we only purchased a few items but we were ecstatic about it's fresh quality and taste once we were home. I highly recommend this Four Town Farm, if you have a chance to visit you'll understand immediately why..!!! read more

Pumpkins priced high- I guess you are paying for the local farm experience but they have excellent prices on jams and peanut butter! Great selection of pumpkins too so if you're looking for something unusual (like a pink or green pumpkin) it may be worth paying the higher prices. read more

For many years, spring through summer, I've bought good quality annuals/perennials/herbs. In December, it's been my experience from searching nurseries and big box, they're the ones who have very nice, solid, roping (greens) for decorating. read more

I stopped in and got some AMAZING blueberries. We had been before for PYO Strawberries, but hadn't had their blueberries yet. Visited this past weekend and Four Town Farm was alive and hopping with the best tasting PYO strawberries! Better than the ones up in NH if I do say so myself. Great pastime especially if you're looking for a family friendly activity after being cooped up in the house for so many months. Strawberries we picked were so sweet and the price was very fair at $3/lb. My little almost 2-year old niece had a ball and my 14 year old did as well. They also have a couple of cute goats on-site and a farmer's market to round out your experience. Better put this on your agenda before strawberry season is over! read more

We've been coming to Four Town Farm since my kids were little. It's a great place to take them for pick your own strawberries and pumpkins because it includes a tractor ride and the ability to explore, search, and select items that catch their eye. I also love cut your own flower season and find that activity relaxing and enjoyable. We try to buy our farm fresh veggies here all summer long. They may not carry everything that you'd find in a big box grocery store but what they do carry is absolutely delicious and just tastes better. Plus it feels great to support a local, family run business that is right here in our community. Be sure to bring your own reusable shopping bags to cut down on plastic waste. Four Town farm is worth the trip for sure! read more

Four Town Farm - Nice! Fresh veggies grown on there farm. - Fruits & Veggies Near Me - Seekonk, Massachusetts

Best corn in the area! I did extensive taste tasting last year of all the local farms and I declare this the winner. I was there the first day they had corn this year, eagerly buying some. The bulk of what they sell if grown right on the farm. All of their items are marked so you know what is grown by them. They have pick your own strawberries and pick your own flowers. If you are lazy like me, they have some already picked inside. The bouquets are gorgeous. The asparagus is well known in the area with many local restaurant menus boasting "Four Town Farm asparagus" when it is in season. I've seen some of the local chefs shopping on more than one visit. There are also coolers full of other local products like Blount soups, Narragansett Creamery cheeses, etc. In addition to the fabulous fruits, veggies and flowers, they have so many plants! I've bought varieties of tomato and lettuce plants here that I couldn't find at other local nurseries. Hanging plants? They have them. Tons of color to fill your outdoor garden as well as herbs and succulents. It's well worth a drive to check them out. read more

This farmstand has got it all! Farm fresh fruits and veggies, fresh baked treats, chicken pot pies, to farm fresh eggs. They have pick your own fields that rotate seasonally so be sure to check out what is available for picking before you head down. They are located just a few minutes from the main shopping area in Seekonk and are a skip and a hop away from downtown Providence. The veggies are fresh and always in season! They do bring in some items from outside the farm but those are labeled differently in the store. Look around and you will see 4town farm signs on products they grow on the farm. The outdoor plant and garden center is incredible. Several varieties of annuals and perennials from garden herbs to ground cover. The prices are awesome for the quality plant you are getting. I purchased a HUGE basket full of garden herbs for only $25! That would easily be $45 elsewhere! Succulents galore! Awesome place to get them, I went in for lettuce and came out $75 poorer but so much happier! I am amazed at how many things I got for $75 read more

Wonderful variety of very fresh produce, most of it home grown. The home grown produce is superb. Also a fan of the frozen meat pies (chicken my favorite) and they have plenty of fruit pies (frozen and fresh). When they have fresh rhubarb squares, I have to get those. Exceptional assortment of many vegetables from within the farm here in Seekonk. They place the produce on the floor with price markers that say Four Town Farm and that means it was grown right there. Sure there were plenty of fruits and more that weren't, but the huge majority was in fact right there. We picked up some great looking corn, some super looking cucumbers and some excellent carrots that were just so fresh. Oh and the melon that they grow and pick daily was just the best tasting we have ever had, with so little seeds and just a perfect sweetness. I must have eaten a third of one just as I was cutting it and trying to put it away! read more

I came here to pick fresh strawberries and found out there were peas too for people to pick. We were given a box for strawberries and then walked out to the field. Then a lady told us which area to start picking in. All the strawberries were super red and sweet! Don't be tempted to eat all the strawberries that you pick though because then you won't have any to bring home! Once we're done picking, we made our way back to the area where we took the box and weighed our strawberries. The box itself is $1.50 and then we picked around $14 worth of strawberries. The price is per pound. They give you the receipt and then you can go into the store for baked goods or other produce. We saw bagged soup and savoury pies in the refrigerated section of the store. We bought a blueberry pie. The blueberry filling was slightly watery and slightly too sweet for my liking, but it was still good. If you need to use the bathroom, there's a sign that leads you to them. The bathrooms aren't super sparkling clean because a lot of people use them, but they aren't disgustingly dirty either. Throughout our drive home, we just kept smelling the fresh, sweet scent of strawberries. Highly recommend checking the farm out if you want to pick fruits or vegetables. read more

4 Town is just down the street , and I go maybe every other week. I find them pricey and can't buy everything I'd like there, but I do have my favorites. I like their corn. It's 60 cents an ear, so I don't eat 4 ears like I used to. So far this year, it's been so - so but getting better. Better than farmer's market corn which has been flavorless. (Summer 2016, it has been really good!). I like Nunes corn out on the corner of Route 6 and Mason Street too. Also pricey though! I like to pick strawberries every June. This year, I think I paid $3 a pound. One basket was $33. I bought three baskets last year. This year, only one. For families though, you've got to bring the kids. You ride the flatbeds behind the tractor out into the fields and back. There are pick your own strawberries, peas, blueberries and raspberries, little goats to feed, and sometimes... hayrides. It's October and they are out doing hayrides through the farm to the pick your own pumpkin patch and corn maze. It's a real honest to goodness farm everyone should see. I found out recently that the produce was color coded and stuff picked on the farm had green labels. Locally grown had red, and trucked in had black. I was buying a lot of trucked in stuff over the years, from peaches to sweet corn and watermelons and never knew about most of it. Now, I'm going to wait for their crops to come in and I'm still only buying a handful of this and that. They have a yellow watermelon I'm waiting for, along with the pick your owns. I'll cut flowers there all Summer. They're late this year but I'll be waiting. read more

This farm has it all. Fresh fruits and veggies, pick your own flowers and locally made baked goods! I come here often for vegetables, there prices are reasonable and the veg is super fresh. I've been strawberry picking here too which was a lot of fun. They have a hayride which brings you over to the strawberry patch. Sadie and Spike aren't to be missed either. These two goats and adorable and super friendly. We often go just to see them! So many different kinds of pumpkins to get around Fall and for the same price as stop and shop. Four town farm has an amazing selection of seasonal flowers as well. We've bought sunflowers and a dahlia plant so far. Worth the trip to this farm, everything you need all in one place! read more

I was in search of a farm where I could pick my own berries; So, after my internet search I decided to go with Four Town Farm seeing as they had raspberries and blueberries to pick along with a farm stand to purchase more yummy produce. Unfortunately I didn't make it over to the farm until about 3:00 since I was busy in the morning. There was still some raspberries left to pick but not many, I got about 2 pints, also the blueberries were done for the day. I wasn't too disappointed because I knew since I was going in the afternoon I wouldn't be left with much...I still had fun picking my 2 pints. I made sure to stop at the farm stand for my veggies and fruit instead of going to Stop and Shop. There is just not much better than farm fresh produce, there is so much more flavor in everything when it comes from the farm...not to mention a bit cheaper in price. I got zucchini, broccoli, red-leaf lettuce, carrots, eggplant, and snap peas. They have loads more veggies, fruit, herbs, and flowers. This farm is worth the trip for sure. If you are going to pick your own fruit be sure to call ahead to make sure they have fruit ripe and ready to pick. read more

Lived in Seekonk for a while and was turned onto Four Town Farm by locals....I love this place! They always have a great selection of farm grown fruits and veggies as well as some brought in to make any recipe complete. They have the most gorgeous (although pricey compared to other stores) hanging plants....but the beauty and heartiness makes them worth the extra money IMHO. They also have pick your own flowers, strawberries and raspberries seasonally. Today as an example of my trips here - I stocked up on veggies for the week - 4 sweet corn cobs, romaine lettuce, mixed greens, red pepper, green pepper, diva cucumber, red onion, 3 white onion, full garlic clove, 2 tomatoes, 5 red potatoes, 2 peaches, 1 pear and a single celery stalk... All this goodness for under $28 bucks! The best part being it is all super fresh and seems to last a lot longer than supermarket product! Also, I love that I can buy what I need for many items which keeps waste to a minimum. If your anywhere near Route 6 in Seekonk or 114 in East Providence - give this place a try - it's local, it's fresh, it's worth the drive!! Tip - check out the website to see when things are in season to help you plan meals that fit with the growing season! Four Town Farm is a family favorite in the summer, fall, and Christmas season. Their farm store always has a great selection of veggies and the FTF grown ones are clearly marked. They don't grow organic, for those that it is a requirement. However their produce is excellent. They also have baked goods and other grocery supplies. Berry picking in the summer is a great outing with a tractor ride thrown in! In the fall they have a pumpkin patch and corn maze. We just picked up a Christmas tree today, very reasonably priced, and they also had wreaths and table plants. FTF is constructing a new store front, not sure how they will expand as a result. Maybe they will stock other RI produced food products? Bottom line FTF is fun for the kids and a great source of local produce. Give them a shot! read more

Lovely place with a great selection of produce and other items. They have Narragansett cheese!

What a fantastic place this is, their produce was simply amazing when I was here to a recent trip to RI, the corn was likely some of the best that I had ever tasted, and I had been told that it had been picked only hours prior to sale. They also hey these "Sugar Cube" cantaloupe's that I was told were just wonderful as well. Great place to stop, that's not crowded and their prices are extremely reasonable for what you're getting. read more
