Upon initial inspection, this place appears to be one of many farmers markets, which it is. However, it is secretly one of the best places to get a grinder sandwich! Aside from super fresh ingredients and perfect bread, their prices are excellent. I can feed my family (of 3) with one large sandwich. I also really love their pasta salad. My coworkers say that their soup is phenomenal, but I haven't tried it yet. And finally- the employees. They seem genuinely excited to share their food with you and happy to be there. Best Italian cold cut grinder anywhere. MEAT Seriously, this grinder will make you nostalgic for how grinders used to be before sub shops started cheaping out and filling their sandwiches with salad. Get one and gorge on good old fashioned value. They're not cheap but they're not screwing you either. Ok. The grinders here are a good deal: $13 for a 20-inch with your choice of decent quality cold cuts, chicken salad, etc.. We had the turkey sub today. The customer service on the phone was polite. In the market, the deli Staff won't look you in the eye, the service below par. There is no ambience to speak of. The parking lot is scary, dangerous as they added too many parking spots, too close to Route 6 and the access (enter/exit) lanes. It's "an accident, waiting to happen!" Seriously, someone from Seekonk Zoning Department needs to look more closely at this design!? Would return but, only on a quiet traffic Monday!! read more

I do not regularly leave reviews, but wanted to take the time to issue credit where it's due for this local establishment... Since we moved to nearby Barrington a few years ago, we have been going to QF religiously. I do know the deli is popular, but I cannot comment seeing as I only eat plants. So, this five star review is regarding the produce. I go here every other week to stock up with two large boxes for my family and I. There is an amazing difference between the quality of the fruits and vegetables here and that which is stocked at the gross-ery stores -- like a thousand degrees of separation from the crap sold at the Seekonk Stop & Shop (and yes, noticeably better than Whole Foods or the Barrington Shaws). In addition to the produce, we also buy several packaged items (nuts, seeds, beans, grains, dried fruits) there and their chosen brands are also very high quality. I have personally witnessed their attention to detail when stocking to ensure bruise/blemish-free produce items are the only ones to reach their shelves and on which their customers spend their income. If items are blemished/abnormal or once they are older than the QF standards, they are moved to a discount section and sold for fifty cents or a dollar -- if you're ok with its issue or plan to eat it within a day or two, it's a great deal. Normally, this is the stuff for which you'll unknowingly pay full price at a grocery store if you haven't inspected each item in detail, known its shelf-age so it's not moldy or rotting by day two in your refrigerator, or been stuck with because you ordered online and some employee shoved the first thing they found into your bag... all to maximize shareholder profit. I always see the owner there working alongside his friendly staff stocking, inspecting, and taking the time to greet his customers and ensure they find what they need. This is a great local business which truly lives up to its name and, if you're reading this and would consider taking a little more time to buy your produce at QF instead, I'm certain you would continue to return. The best value in sandwiches anywhere. A small $5.75 sandwich has more filling than a large anywhere else. Barbecue chicken, buffalo chicken, ham salad, tuna, chicken salad, and deli... home made Portuguese soup and soup of the day every day. Sides like cole slaw, potato salad, pasta salad.... the deli is #1. The deli is good. Not Boar's Head, but plenty good. Tuna and chicken salad are also our favorites. They make a kielbasa, onion and pepper sandwich with mojo sauce people love too. It sells out quick. There is also a produce market. They have both food service delivered vegetables, same as the supermarkets, and local produce like sweet corn and melons in season. They also have a flower shop! A wide variety of great food finds, including my favorite peanut butter (SanoBe), interesting potato chip selections, and dozens of condiments. The jewel in the crown though is their deli. These guys. Seriously, the nicest guys ever. Thoughtful, sweet, and human. They treat you like a star, truly. They also think about your experience and anticipate your needs. (Case in point, me and my beach-ready husband looked, well, very beach ready. Our deli person noted our attire and offered to put our sandwiches' dressings on the side so that the sandwich wouldn't get mushy by the time we got to the beach. Again, he OFFERED to do it, without provocation. Amazing.) And finally, the prices. A medium sub is $7. And it's (to quote an ill-equipped, staff-starved, tweet-obsessed president) "huge." Their sandwiches are made to order and their service is top notch, even when they're slammed with the lunchtime crowd. The large sandwich looks like you're carrying a rolled up carpet - it's huge! The call ahead ordering is a big plus with large orders. I don't give out 5-star ratings very often. I've yet to be even slightly disappointed by this place. The fresh fruits and vegetables are priced higher than local groceries, but they offer fresh local products, you know exactly where they came from, literally right around the corner. I moved to this area from Boston, Land of All That is Local and Good. I got spoiled by amazing Whole Foods locations that had spas and grew some of their own produce on their store roof. I belonged to a farm co-op that enabled me to provide my family with the freshest organic produce, bread, dairy, and other culinary goodness available. It took very little effort to eat well and shop well locally. When I moved a few months ago, I struggled to find stores that compared. The RI Whole Foods locations are meh, the organic produce at the grocery store in my town is sometimes very sad-looking and almost always expensive, and I haven't found any farm co-ops that offer all the things I got used to in Boston. When a Quality Fruitland sponsored post appeared in my Facebook feed last week touting their wide selection of organics, I knew I had to check it out. I'd driven past their storefront several times but figured that they couldn't possibly have much in the way of organic produce. So wrong! So thankful for that Facebook post! I stopped in last weekend for the first time and was amazed by all of the fantastic local and organic offerings. Not only is their organic produce beautiful but their selection is pretty fantastic and the prices are good. They also carry Baffoni Farm eggs, Rhody Fresh milk and butter, and Narragansett cheeses and yogurt, so that basically means I can do a large percentage of my grocery shopping here. And should I ever need fresh flowers, they've got those covered as well, with a lovely flower counter! The service is also super friendly; these people open doors for customers and always follow-up to see if any help or guidance is necessary. Such a change of pace from the typical grocery store employee. I'm a total convert. I will be here at least once a week. And one of the employees told me today that in the summer, they carry produce from six area farms! And in that case, who even needs to belong to a farm co-op, really? A total gem. read more

I need to stop by here more than I do. They sell a little bit of everything and it's all good. The prices are very reasonable and definitely lower than what you would pay at the grocery store. The produce is good quality and they have a decent selection. Recently I was on a hunt for arugula and ripe avocados and couldn't find either anywhere. It wasn't a problem here and at a great price as well. There is also a deli counter and grinders can be made to order. They are packed and and a low price. If you have a large order you can call it in ahead of time. On my recent visit I noticed an area with fresh flower arrangements. At Christmas they sell wreaths and trees and right now they have all things Fall - cider, pumpkins, gourds, mums, etc. If you are in the area, stop by. If you're coming here just for fruits/vegetables make sure to comparison shop as you might be better off going elsewhere. For example, I bought an avocado here in April and they were selling for $1.75 each (I might be $0.25 off). At Target right down the road they go for $1.25 each, while Aldi sells them for $0.49! I don't mind paying a bit more to support a local retailer, but I could buy seven avocados at Aldi's for the same price as buying two here. They offer more than just fruits/vegetables (the grinders appear to be quite popular), so I'd recommend going for items like that but be careful when it comes to their pricing on fruits/vegetables. So I usually come here often to grab a sandwich for lunch and their always so nice! i get it this almost two year long pandemic is taking a toll on everyone. But when my friend and I come in and are walking back and forth looking at the menus behind the counter, one greet the customer and none of the 5 of you did. We sat there for 20 minutes. She did the Flowers for my daughter's wedding at Rhode Island Country Club in October of 2018. The Bouquets, Centerpieces and amazing Garland she created for the head table were exquisite. People still talk about the Flowers at the Wedding- in fact our wedding was featured in Bliss Celebrations Spring 2019 issue and her work was highlighted. I would highly recommend IN Bloom and their prices are reasonable. I will always be grateful for Kathy- she was helpful, pleasant and excited along with us for my daughter's big day! I've been a customer of Quality Fruitland for well over a decade. While I have always enjoyed their food, I have become increasingly dissatisfied with the service I've received, and today's experience has finally driven me away completely. Today I called in an order for pick-up, as I frequently do, and upon my arrival 30mins later my order was still unprepared. I stood in line for another 10-15mins, joining several other annoyed customers waiting an exorbitant amount of time. As we stood in line, the employees behind the counter all but ignored us completely. Not only were we made to wait an unreasonable amount of time, the activity behind the counter was so unhygienic and disgusting that I cannot ever imagine eating their food again. The guy and girl (who was wearing a short dress so inappropriately gross for food handling) behind the counter were *throwing* meat slices and condiments to each other, loudly and obnoxiously laughing, joking, and contaminating the foods to the point that everything behind that counter should be trashed. It was truly revolting. When other customers and I attempted to capture their attention and growing increasingly frustrated, we were met with hostile, argumentative, and astoundingly rude responses, to the point of accusing us of racism. Expressing my dissatisfaction, I was so flabbergasted by their behavior and disgusted by the idea of eating filthy food used for games that I finally threw my hands up and left. It was truly disgusting, nauseating, and disturbing. I will never again patronize this establishment, and will make it a point to warn others of my experience. Straighten up, Quality. I cannot wrap my head around how far you've fallen. You've lost me for good. read more

This is my favorite place to buy any deli, produce and interesting cool local items. Harold has a great staff who will go out of they're way to help the costumer with a smile. Sandwiches are honestly the best around and the price /size are without compare. They carry Tito's items, local hummus (that is amazing), fantastic local produce and probably the best deli around.
