In the same thread, many people told me that if my 2010 car needed transmission work I might as well dump it because of the expected cost of the repair vs the value of the vehicle... Four Star stands by there work. I brought my subaru in a few months back because of transmission trouble. Two weeks ago the problem came back. After speaking to the people at Four Star, they not only fixed the problem again at no charge. They also prioritized my car and got the parts rushed so they can return the car to me within 2 days. Horrible I looked on Google for a review they had 4.6 out of five no way to deserved they put the wrong transmission in my vehicle and then they tried to give it to me and say oh well it's not shifting well after I paid them so then they change the transmission put the right transmission after 8 weeks later and after 2 days of driving it had to bring it back because it wasn't properly working the mechanic used a pair of vise grips to tighten the bolts instead of a wrench so I apparently believe I'll be going back to have it fixed again horrible experience do not recommend at all they don't care I don't know what's going on they're all about excuses and it's not their problem not recommended at all hate them read more

I came here to get my window fixed and to see why my check engine light came on. Worst mistake i made. I only came here because it's right by my job. They told me they have to replace my window and were charging me $400. The only thing was that for them just to check my window they charged me $100. The guy then said the $100 would be used towards my window payment, although he knew I only wanted to check it and not actually fix it. What really make me was to give them 0 stars was that when I picked up my car another light that was NEVER on the dashboard came on. It came up as soon as I turned on my car and I was in their parking lot. I spoke to the owner and he told me that lights usually come up the older the car gets. I'm sorry but I am not buying that as soon as I pick up my car a light that has NEVER came up was due to my car being old. It was clearly a mistake on their end as he was checking my engine light and probably did something to make another light come on. He told me to bring my car back and I just left. I was not going to bring my car back so it can get more lights. Do not come here. read more

The worst customer service is ever experienced. Long story short I asked if a broken bolt can be removed and the guy says I have to drop off the car and maybe it can be worked on. I asked if i can wait and see if it can be fixed same day if not IL leave it and I was cut off saying drop it off or leave. No reason to be as rude as he was read more

They Charged us over $ 3000.00 . Transmission didn't last. Spoke to the owner Vinny . He wouldn't stand by his warranty.
