Vee F's 2021 review is similar to mine and I'm sure the driver, Tom, is the same lunatic who towed my car 2 days ago. He refused to speak to me and lowered the flat bed right where I was standing, narrowly missing my feet. Insults during the ride to Doc's Auto Body in Haverstraw were nothing compared to the realization after I was safely in Kingston that he had charged me $20 more than stated on the invoice. The total is $201 just for the tow. Three phone calls failed to correct this mistake. I am 82 but even a youngster shouldn't be subjected to this mistreatment. Man oh man, horrible service. I'd give this service a ZERO if I could. Got stuck on the highway--safely parked though. As soon as this guy arrived, he would NOT give me a straight forward answer on pricing. Started demanding for my keys when I would not give them to him after I told him I did not feel comfortable. After that, he kept saying that I had no choice and kept pressuring me. I finally gave in and gave him my keys and told him to leave me alone. Thank God he decided to give them back to me. After he left, he told the cop to "put me on the back of the list, she can wait, etc". As a woman, this was not a safe encounter, even with the presence of a cop. Not sure if this tow guy was the owner, but it poorly reflects the business. Horrible service, stay away!!! read more

Get away from this place for them the only thing that interests them is money! A few months ago for distracted driving I had an accident but the car was not mine so I took it to this place to fix it, it would be less than 1k because I was only painting and straightening a door! But the old man told me that I had to change a new door since the car would not look good and since I was with the owner of the car they pressured me and I told him that I only wanted to straighten and paint and nothing else. which was denied and practically made me spend 3.5k there for a new door for a 2013 Ford Edge so I bought the car 3-4 days later and guess what they didn't get a new door for the car. The car had some scratches on the inside and well, I knew it was the same door and he denied it and you told him to give me the old door to which he replied that they no longer had it because they had thrown it away. a lot and did not want to continue arguing with the old man! I will never return to this place if you want good customer service and not be overcharged consider other options and avoid this place read more

My brother have those thin tires style which I dislike sooooooooooooo much due to the fact that there is no cushion or space for a car tire to take the harsh roads. As he run over a pothole on a highway, instanly the tire made noise. He pulled over and indeed, the tire was damaged. Called 911 to get us a tow truck and this company showed up on time to pick us up. The driver was very courteous and friendly. Luckily and skillfully, he had the special bolt that he needed for the tire. He changed the tire to the spare one at the shop. Excellent service done is a very efficient time. I recently had my car fixed at Doc's after an accident with another vehicle. The service was outstanding, and the work was absolutely superiior. Manny worked directly with my insurance company and it was the most painless, simplest transaction ever. Absolutely no hassles and the job started right away. I first came to Doc's at my co.'s recommendation to fix my co. car. They did a good job, so the next time I needed a collision service with my own car, I remembered them. This time the repair work was a lot more involved. Manny went the extra mile (pun intended) to get the job done right. He did this with a lot of integrity and pride in his work. It was an easy process with the insurance company. I didn't need to worry as much as I did because they understood and cared about my concerns.
