When we were trying to install out new cedar tub, it was a bit of a mess. We worked with a contractor, plumber, electrician, and landscape company. And no one could get it right .... except Jared. He was able to identify several problems and knew how to get the job done correctly. Since then, he's been maintaining our hot tub and does a great job. The whole experience from buying a spa to having it delivered and installed by Ketchum Spas was…read moremishandled and felt as though they had been in the business way too long and didn't really care about service anymore. The phrase "phoning it in." comes to mind. The spa came from the factory incorrectly wired so the heater wasn't working and required the first of many service calls within a two month period. In addition, the initial settings for the spa controlling the filtering cycles was never properly done in the field by the dealer's technician, causing the water to quickly foul even without anyone using it. The owner blamed the water quality on us, that WE were doing something wrong, even after repeated attempts to explain that no one had even used it since the last cleaning. When a second technician finally (several weeks) discovered the oversight and programmed the proper filtering cycle as stated in the manual, the spa worked perfectly. The dealer however never apologized or admitted to his oversight (incompetence) and in fact, hung up on us and then sent us a letter refusing to service the spa he was so happy to sell us. We have contracted another service group in the area now and are very happy with them. Do not use Ketchum Spas.

About a week after having the spa, we realized that my wife had some serious reactions to the chlorine in the spa. We went in the following week trying to find a solution and they had switched us to bromine tablets which also contain chlorine. My wife unfortunately had the same issues. Just an FYI, bromine still contains chlorine. We went in again to try and get this issue resolved. My wife was over the spa and didn't care for it anymore. We wanted to see if there was anything that could be done. We spoke to a gentleman in twin who unfortunately was not the best of help. We were told that they could potentially help us sell it and we could get a massage chair instead. We sat on that gigantic paper weight for about 3 months without giving it any use. We called last week and we were told by the rep in twin that there was nothing that he or the owners could do. There was interesting choice of words used to describe the situation and that he was told to avoid us. We called the Idaho falls location and expressed our concerns and we got a chance to speak with Ted. This man was amazing help. Within 24 hours we got our problem resolved. He was able to get us out of the spa and into a massage chair. I know many people won't run into the issues we had but if there is any kind of complaints or issues that need to be addressed....Ted is your guy. I want to give a shoutout to Aaron for being a compassionate employee in the twin falls location. He was thrilled to learn that our problem was resolved. I will definitely do business with Brady's in the future! They proved to me that they truly care about their customers.

My experience working at Snake River Pools and Spa was extremely disappointing. I was verbally…read morepromised a wage of $19/hour during a conversation with management, which influenced my decision to move forward with signing a lease. I made it clear during that discussion that while $19/hour wasn't a dealbreaker, I needed clarity for financial planning purposes. I was told yes -- that I'd be paid that rate -- and was brought on through a temp agency at $18/hour. Once I was officially hired, however, my hourly wage was reduced to $17.50. I was told this would be temporary and that I'd receive a raise in the near future as I gained more training. That raise didn't come for another 8 months, and when it did, it was just 18 cents. During my time there -- nearly a year -- I was given increasing responsibility and eventually led deliveries. Despite the demands of the role, staffing was consistently inadequate. Most deliveries were handled by teams of just two or three people, which often felt unsafe. One particular delivery involving a Vanguard spa tipped over while we were using the company-provided equipment. I was nearly injured. (There is video footage of this incident from the customer's security camera.) In my opinion, the company places heavy demands on employees without providing the necessary support or accountability. This culture appeared to carry over into the customer experience as well. During my employment, I observed multiple instances where spas sent in for repair sat in the yard untouched for months. In some cases, customers waited weeks -- or longer -- for service. I'm sharing my experience in the hope that it helps someone make a more informed decision -- whether you're considering working there or becoming a customer.

Instead I received the nicest emails from Mike introducing himself and another questioning what we were looking for in terms of features. I decided to call him to get a dialog going and he sent me an email with several links to models that would be the best fit. We went in to see him yesterday and he spent a lot of time describing the differences and helped us make the right choice. I have to say it was by far one of the best retail experience we've ever experienced. Plus they sell everything to keep your water clean and even evaluate your water.
