Welcome drink at the 4 seasons. Good job 4 seasons.
    Andrew W.

This place is incredible. Is it the fun Mexican drinks? Is it the welcoming staff? Is it the beautiful view of the ocean from Dos Catrinas or the bars above? Is it the "enjoying a vacation without kids"? Yes. Yes it is. Enjoy your vacation in Punta Mita Four Seasons. Until we meet again...

Beautiful resort with top notch service all around! Locates about 50 mins from the airport , we stayed here for 3 nights. Everyone ( gift store staff, restaurant staff, front desk, bell hop, pool staff, you name it were attentive and friendly. ) tough to find good service and genuine friendliness these days. Pool side comes with treats throughout the day as you would find with four seasons elsewhere. Who doesn't want to be pampered??

The four seasons is my premiere resort anywhere I travel but this location was everything and more. Beautiful beautiful property. I spent about 6 hours at the spa, the massage was so relaxing. Everything I wanted. The beach was rocky so not very much swimming but ok for wading and great for tanning. There are so many dining options. I ate at the restaurant overlooking the beach and had a lovely view. Staff is top notch, friendly, at your service. Four seasons is always a great choice.

There will never be enough words to express how beautiful this resort is, and how wonderfully we were treated. Every single thing from the car service to the welcome drink to easy check in to our huge luxurious room was perfect. Days by the pool, the spa, the restaurants, all of it was perfect. Take a day trip to Sayulita, what a beautiful town. I will never forget this vacation.

Pretty amazing for sure! On a Holliday weekend it was busy but it doesn't feel like you are shoulder to shoulder with people which is nice and especially if you dine at off times. I guess I didn't realize that from the Puerto Vallarta airport it is a pretty solid drive (over an hour) and we got caught in some commotion so it was longer. Staff couldn't have been better throughout, room was incredible with the patio views of the ocean and our own dipping pool, dining area which we ate breakfast on most mornings......speaking of breakfast while you won't get bored of the dinner options but we personally found the breakfast offerings both in the restaurants that actually served it or room service to be very limited and got boring quickly. Leaving the resort is kind of a pain so I suggest you do as we did just remain there. We went on many walks and took a trip up the neighboring St. Regis.....due to the location just remember you are at their mercy for pretty much everything including transportation and even water, they offer everything you could imagine but remember $ it will add up fast. I would say a max of three days would be ideal we over stayed a wee bit.

This is a long overdue review for the Four Seasons Resort. Upon arriving at Puerto Vallarta, my family and I had no place to stay because it was a random trip booked the day before. I called in to the Four Seasons the day we arrived, and luckily they had a couple of rooms available. The drive from the airport to the resort is roughly 30-45 minutes. We were greeted right away with drinks and hospitality. What was really great about the resort was the FOOD! The brunch was amazing, and their restaraunts followed as well! Was able to get in some activities in and out of the resort. This trip is one for the books!

Of course it is incredible here! I love it and I am so happy to be back again! This is one of the best views I have enjoyed in Mexico. Add in tequila tasting at 2 pm ... and I'm a fan for life! Being here brings back lovely memories of when my daughter was young enough to beg to go to the kids club ... and this one was always one of her favorites. Maybe the piñata filled with surprises had something to do with that. Today, we enjoyed a beautiful lunch overlooking the ocean, then went to the gym and loved every minute there! I was so impressed with all of the amenities and things they have at the gym... We were able to do a full training and feel fabulous. Tonight we're going to a fancy dinner here at 8 PM... So until then, will be relaxing, enjoying margaritas, and getting ready for sunset. It really is paradise here!

This is the absolute best hotel experience I've ever had or ever will have. This place feels like you have crossed heavens gates or if your wandering through a lucid dream. Everybody smiles and says hello as you walk by. When your in the pool, an employee jumps in and cleans your greasy sunglasses for you. My husband came down with a stomach bug and employees sent some remedies to our room. They anticipate your every need and desire. We spent the evening with a knowledgeable tequila expert and tasted the best tequila of our lives. As you walk to the beach you are offered freshly cut coconut to drink. Just astonishingly unbelievable. This place is a class above all the highest classes.

Octopus tacos for lunch at Dos Catrinas we're on point.

We came down to Punta Mita to attend a wedding in neighboring Sayulita and chose the Four Seasons. It's about 40 minutes from the airport in Puerto Vallarta and they can arrange car service to/from the airport, which is what we opted to do. It was really easy to find the car service (pro tip if you've never been - ignore all the people hustling taxis and free shots of tequila. They can be annoying and aggressive, but if you've arranged your ride they are outside waiting for you). The driver gave us water and a cold scented towel which was great since we went in October so the humidity was super high and I was sticky from my 30 second walk to the car. Check in was pleasant. You sit on the deck with whatever their special drink is (boozy or not) which I liked versus just standing at the desk. They also cart you to your room, which is nice because the property is very large. You can also use the carts, however I found that sharing a walking path with drunk people carting themselves around was annoying. All of the employees were so friendly. Literally all of them. They always smiled and said hello. The property was beautiful. It is lushly landscaped and there are a lot of fun things to do: Several restaurants (one was closed for renovations when we went) 3 pool areas - big infinity pool, two pools in the adult (16+) area, and a lazy river pool. A game room for kids with 10 different Tv's and gaming systems as well as a small theater room. Gym (ha - I didn't go in there but I'm sure it's nice. Fitness class rooms Spa (you can use the spa facilities even if you don't book a treatment and this includes the sauna, steam room, amazing showers, hot tub and cold plunge pools, etc) who h I wish I would have known before our last day when we got massages). 2 beaches Shopping, if you're into that. The room was modern but I liked the traditional Mexican touches incorporated into the decor. The bed was comfortable and while I was kind of sad there was no hammock on the deck (like in the website photos) they did have nice patio furniture. I think all rooms have an ocean view, we were in Pez which didn't directly overlook the beach but still had a great view. They had most of the buildings of rooms under construction, presumably for the upcoming holiday (our stay was mid-October 2019). And did also do some work in our building so we occasionally heard some drilling and hammering and the sound does kind of carry so we also occasionally heard our loud neighbors (probably my only complaint). The food was delicious everywhere we ate - from poolside to in the restaurants. They are also very conscientious of food allergies and keep the info in their computer so they always know your name and food allergies. For my gluten allergy they had separate prep areas (so they said - and I never got sick) which was such a relief. I would definitely return. Our trip was baby free, but I'd bring our 2 year old as they are also very family friendly.

    Unobstructed Ocean View...stunning

Using Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons properties in Grand Cayman, Aruba, Laguna Nigel, Key Biscayne, Orlando, and Puerto Rico as a comparison, This destination is now top of the list. With and impeccably clean sprawling campus that is dotted with Casitas, small restaurants (serving absolutely delicious cuisine) and bars, this is a truly exclusive property. Golf cart service to wherever you want whenever you want. Every employee acts as your own personal concierge and ensures that your stay is perfect...They even walk your drinks into the pool for you. The beach is gorgeous, albeit a little rough on the bottom with vegetation plumes, the water is literally 80°. My only regret with posting this review is that it may convince more of you may come here now.

We're pretty loyal to Four Seasons in general, but this particular property is incredible in every way. If I could give the food and service ten stars, I would. The entire team here works exceptionally hard to meet and exceed your every need. I'll let the photos of the property do most of the talking -- but I would argue there isn't a bad room or view at this entire hotel. Highly recommended for your next vacation!

The Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita is one of the most phenomenal resorts I have ever visited!! We had such an amazing experience. The resort is located on a guard gated peninsula. We passed through the main gate after the guard verified our reservation and then a second guard gate down the road. From the moment you arrive and are greeted with a cold towel, cactus juice, and an offering of tequila, to the moment you leave, the service is unmatched. We spent much of our days in the resort being lazy, laying by one of the pools or at the beach. Of course there is endless drinks and food being offered all the time. There is a scene for everyone, the adult only pool complete with cabanas and hammocks in addition to lounge chairs. The lazy river where you can grab a tube and drink and float around. The beach areas with day beds and chairs. Or of course my personal favorite, the main pool which features an Infiniti pool overlooking the ocean and a floating bartender. We also visited the spa for a tequila massage. Breathing the aromas of tequila help you to relax. This was a first time experience for me and definitely memorable. The spa is nothing short of amazing. The resort is also acclimating to kids. There is a game area which we stopped to check out. They had VR games, PlayStation, Xbox, arcade games such as Mario kart and Pac-Man, ping pong tables, and even a cinema area! What really made this trip memorable were the people. The staff at the Four Seasons are friendly, welcoming, hospitable, and thoughtful. Such an amazing experience. I highly recommend the Four Seasons at Punta Mita!

The property is beautifully maintained and everyday, we saw crews trimming the hedges just right, fixing one of their many water fountains, and raking the sand. Prior to our arrival I arranged transportation to/from the airport and the directions provided were very precise. Upon entering the gate for the resort, you are ensconced with the beautiful, lush greenery of the property. The property is huge as it shares the golf course with multiple resorts within the gates to include the Four Seasons. On your first trip to the property, it is a rather long drive as they want you to take in your surroundings, however, during your stay if you leave the property, they take a shorter exit. When we arrived, we were escorted to the veranda where we were welcomed by the lovely Jessica, who went over our reservation and explained the property. We were asked if we would like the NYT and USA Today daily and we chose the paper edition of both. We were excited to have a full printed newspaper that we could enjoy during breakfast. After about 20 minutes, we were shown to our room and within 10 minutes, Jaime, our assigned butler, arrived to go over their services as well as the room. We had a huge garden view room with a partial view of the ocean that included a private balcony as well as an outdoor shower that was lovely. Having a butler was very nice because you could text them for anything. I especially liked that each day, you could get 2 items pressed per person and they will also run you a bubble bath with salts which came in handy after a full day of excursions. The only complaint we had for the rooms was that the toilet lids did not soft close and instead, slammed down and also, they have the cheap Conair hair dryers, the ones that smell like it's going to catch fire if you use it for too long. I made the mistake of leaving behind my travel hair dryer and I implore you do not leave yours behind as you will regret it. The next day we awoke to discover that the "printed paper" left in our door handle, were just photocopies of each paper and not the whole paper either, so that was a bit disappointing. When we arrived for breakfast, another disappointment was that the free breakfast was only for the buffet. Although they have a menu, it is not free if you order from it. That was shocking because one of our favorite resorts is the Waldorf in Cabo and our breakfast could be ordered from the menu and their food was gourmet and delicious! As we were headed to the pool, I did not see a beach bag in our closet and when we contacted the butler, we were told that they do not provide beach bags! But guess who does, The Waldorf in Cabo! I had several beach bags at home and left them because I assumed the St. Regis would have provided one. Seriously, for the amount of money you pay per night, that is the least they could do. They do have 3 pools on property and only 1 is for adults only which was nice. The chairs are on a first come basis, so each day, we stopped by before breakfast to claim our chairs as we did not want to get stuck with a chair without umbrellas. When you look at the menu, it states that they provide fresh, complimentary snacks daily and that was so far from the truth. Only one day, did they bring around skewers of fresh melon, which I cannot eat. The Four Seasons Wailea, brings their guests fresh snacks, ice cream and etc, about every hour while you are hanging out poolside. The only thing St. Regis provided were complimentary ice buckets filled with bottles of water which was needed and very much appreciated. During our stay, we stopped by the spa and had a wonderful couples massage from Diana and Taymi. Their usher Neidit was also very nice and helpful with the lockers. While we had a wonderful and relaxing stay, it would have been nice if they had a lounge area to hangout or something to do on property. They do have several bars you can enjoy and we did enjoy hanging out with the guys in the lobby bar. The entire staff and the drivers were top notch and very professional. Thank you Alejandro for trying to find Luna (the resort cat) for us!

With a maximum of 8 beautifully appointed and sparkling clean rooms (16 guests) you will be outnumbered by staff (but never see them unless you need something they appear like magic) and will enjoy the quiet all adult environment. Yes it is all ADULT with no children which please make note of! If you don't have children or need a break from yours it is magically quiet with the exception of margarita glasses toasting and waves crashing. Even though it is "small" it is like staying at a magic castle with every detail in place including the swim up bar, tequila bar, and many different types of pool seating and cabanas. There is a library with games and tons of reading material in case you need some entertainment while you are there. This is perfect place to do nothing or enjoy the areas fine fishing/zip-lining/horses/sight seeing/golf. Yes all inclusive meaning no signing, wondering how much to budget each day, tipping, pushing servers, or any worries till the end when you pay your balance and generously (because they deserve it!!!) tip the staff to the owner/manager so no awkwardness. If you have ever been at another all inclusive or cruise you will know what I am talking about. The water is purified meaning we brushed our teeth, bathed, and ate every last delish vegetable (raw) and not one person in our party ever felt anything but perfect. The grounds are beautifully maintained-I think there is a person who just goes around perfectly trimming leaves everyday! They can arrange for on-site facial/massage or truly anything else you wish. They packed up a lunch/drinks/goodies for a day of fishing and were extremely accommodating. One of my favorite parts is the three perfectly maintained, groomed, behaved, delightful small pups they have on the property. Besides their sweetness you would not even know they were there unless you seek them out! Mark the owner is top notch and has mastered the art of the perfect place to vacation! I know I am going to miss someone (sorry we loved you all) but Robert, Mauricio, Francisco, Charlie, David, (another fabulous server in the afternoon/evening who knew my Rose Vino Preference), and all of the fabulous maintenance/cleaning/kitchen crew were like family-we miss you and can't wait to return!

3.5 star hotel at a 4 star price!…read more W Punta de Mita is a fine hotel, tucked about 45 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta on a no traffic day, and maybe 75 minutes if there is bad weather. Two pools, one for all ages and another solely for adults. I think there were really only 4 restaurants in the entire hotel site. Chevycheria, which is a beach ceviche spot. Spice Market, which was Vietnamese. Venazu, which admittedly I didn't visit. And Rubra, which has a $200.00 tasting menu. There's also the pool food, which was perfectly adequate. If you're more of a vacationer than a traveler, then I think you'll find your stay here more than enjoyable. It is a hassle trying to get an uber to get you to the airport or to puerto vallarta, but there are also 2 or 3 other hotels in the area, so there may be drivers around. Regarding my experience, I was slightly annoyed that I didn't get a Marriot Elite upgrade to my room (the hostess said since I booked with points, that was a no-go). In reading someone else's Yelp review, they mentioned they at least got free breakfasts, which annoys me even more now since I wasn't offered that. Cleaning was spotty, as the first day the room wasn't cleaned until 6:00pm or so. The next day the room wasn't even cleaned at all. Overall, not an incredibly huge fan.

He started looking at resorts and beach clubs that offered day passes during a busy time of year (Christmas holidays) and came up short. Until he was put in touch with Imanta Resort, that is. A few days later, we went, along with two other couples to spend the day at Imanta. It was quite the exclusive get-away, and just what we needed. We spent the morning on a nearby hike and then found our way to Imanta and needless to say, we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by Jeremi, who took us in a golf cart from the reception area to the beach club. That's where we met Pete and his staff, who made us delectable drinks and eats to enjoy all afternoon long. We took turns getting pampered with some outdoor spa services and taking in one of the most scenic and beautiful beach spots in super comfortable day beds. At the end of the day, Fernando took us to reception and gave us a tour of the rooftop bar / restaurant. We were all disappointed to learn that we couldn't stay for dinner as they were full for the evening. Yes, it's pricey, but if you are in need of some quiet time at a top knotch, beautiful venue on the beach, and can make it work, I highly recommend a visit to Imanta!

Especially enjoyed Tsuba, Japanese restaurant. Cons, 50 minutes from the Boardwalk for shopping, nothing outside the resort is walking distance, terrible steaks at LaBahia, stores at resort are expensive, $12 for small bag of chocolate cashews!, and no instructions at check-in how to find your room or information about what's available at the resort.

Our transfer dropped us off at the entrance to the resort where we were greeted by an employee who led us to the check-in desk and informed us that our bags would be sent to our room. Initially, the employee behind the desk was proceeding to book us into a room on the first floor. My wife is not a fan of the noise that generally accompanies being on the first floor, so she mentioned this to the employee who swiftly booked us a room on the second floor. The resort itself is beautiful, very spacious and has tons of seating through out. Whether you want to be in the party area of the resort or prefer a secluded area where you can relax and read a good book, there are plenty of options. For breakfast and lunch we enjoyed the myriad of food options available at the buffet; fortunately, I scored some very delicious ribs at the lunch buffet on one of the days. Unfortunately, the quantity of food options did not equate to quality and was quite inconsistent on a day to day basis. We dined at both the Mexican restaurant and steakhouse, which were both underwhelming (not sure how Mexican food in Mexico can be bad). If none of these options float your boat, there is also an Italian restaurant and hibachi. Although the lackluster food quality made it easy not to overindulge; to ensure that we weren't unrecognizable after the trip, we consistently utilized the fitness center. There were machines, free weights, and cardio equipment available to get a comprehensive workout in. If you're into spa treatments, there is a spa next door where you can pay for massages and other services. The overall customer service experience was good. However, I have to call-out and give extra kudos to one particular employee....Mayra from the Adelita Lobby Bar (one of our favorite places on the resort to enjoy a drink). From day one Mayra was very attentive and did a great job of checking in with us without hovering. One specific moment stood out to both my wife and I. Mayra overheard that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. Next thing we know, Mayra emerged from the bar area with a cute sized piece of cake with a candle and a mini balloon with a "J" on it (my wife's name is Janee). Mayra went above and beyond the call of duty to not only do this, but also memorized both of our names (which is not easy considering that we do not have traditional names). As long as we have our memories intact, we will never forget the bond that we built with Mayra. Adrian (another employee that generally works at the Adelita Lobby bar), not only makes great drinks (you can see the attention to detail that he puts towards making a drink), but is also very personable. I love when individuals take pride in their work while simultaneously being professional. Our favorite bars on the resort, were the Adelita Lobby Bar, the Sunset Bar (literally the best spot to watch the beautiful sunsets), and the La Duna bar. I would strongly recommend avoiding the swim-up bar, which serves consistently bad drinks (very unfortunate considering how convenient it is). If you're looking for a place to truly relax (if that's your goal), I recommend visiting Iberostar Playa Mita. However, I'm giving the resort three stars because management is adament about pushing a "90 minute presentation" that we declined at least four times because it felt predatory and manipulative (maybe they thought we were too inebriated to realize this).

But all the condos in all the buildings have the exact same layout with wonderful views. Contrary to the review above, the beach clubs do play music and on occasion they will even have a DJ. But between 10pm and 8am it is indeed quiet time in the complex because many owners do not rent their condos so it is also a residential area. That being said, you can listen to music by the pool and have drinks by the pool or go to any of the 5 beach clubs. Hacienda de Mita is the development closest to town so you can walk on the beach to dinner or drinks and walk back without dealing with your golf cart or a very long walk. This is also one of the only sandy beaches in Punta Mita where kids can learn to surf in a safe place. If you like to surf, boogie board, golf, play tennis, ride bikes, and do it all within an uber-safe environment this is the place!

For five days the sound of jack hammers and nail guns permeated our unit. They should have let prospective renters know about the construction so we could have made an informed decision about which unit to rent for the week. By the way the unit was not discounted, it was the same price as other available units. When we notified the owners of the situation (we sent them recordings) we received no response. To me there are two things that really make this hotel special- the fantastic owners and the amazing staff who are so hospitable and accommodating, and the tranquil environment. Once you come in off the street and head back to the bungalows. Also the grounds are meticulously cared for, the decor is fantastic and authentic Mexican, and the bungalows come equipped with mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave along with dishes, cups etc... Everyone goes above and beyond to make our stays relaxing and fun. The pool is great and usually very quiet. They also have Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas and beach towels that you can take to the beach which is a couple minute walk, so you don't have to bring any of this stuff or worry about renting it. If you're looking for a great experience give Hotel Vogue a try! They are simply the best!

First, there is the Hotel Vogue staff -- the most friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff you will find anywhere! The owner, Marv, felt like family immediately. He was so friendly and made it feel like home. The front desk staff, especially Kevin, were all so amazing and helpful with local recommendations and all round kindness. Let's not forget about Pinata...the cutest and most affectionate hotel pup you WILL EVER MEET!!! She made us smile every day and we were so happy she was constantly wagging around and giving us love. We felt so incredibly safe at Hotel Vogue. We often even found that we were leaving our bags out on our open patio for long periods of time because Hotel Vogue is so safe. They had someone at the front door always and a private security gate PLUS a coded door at night so that you always felt very safe. The facilities in this hotel are BEAUTIFUL. Everything is very clean, comfortable, spacious and you feel like you are in a private oasis when you enter. It's right in the middle of town, but you don't feel like it once you enter Hotel Vogue. The amazing plants and wildlife makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The rooms are very spacious and extremely comfortable - they have made a beautiful space that is so authentic to the Mexican culture which is what we loved most. Even though the owners, Marv and Mary, are from Michigan, they have created the most authentic and beautiful space at Hotel Vogue. We cannot express how much we loved staying here for our honeymoon and NO DOUBT we will be back again! Thank you for everything Hotel Vogue!!
