Solid 4.5 stars! I loved the attention we got upon arrival. Staff got us checked in quickly and drove us on a cart to our room. It was beautifully decorated for our anniversary. The butler service was fantastic! They were always quick to respond. I wish there was more than one place to eat for breakfast but that's ok. For all of you American coffee lovers, my husband and I did not enjoy the coffee despite our many attempts. It wasn't bad, just not the vanilla oat milk lattes we are used to. The many restaurants and bars were great! Highly recommend Sea Breeze, Mita Mary Boat Bar, and Altamira Cantina. Carolina was fantastic for a little more expensive experience. All of the staff were very attentive and pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and facial at the spa.

Totally named "Sea Breeze" and has a sports bar. We came here to watch a playoff game! The TVs were great and nice n loud! Lots of seating outside of course!!! Was a good spot we were sat, but There were a lot of people standing in front of the Tv, so kind of disappointed With our view of the game. Top notch service!!! Loved everyone who assisted! The food was delicious because it's super fresh and lively with flavors! The place was amazing! Strongly recommend for a spots watching experience and great food with totally wonderful service!!!

Simply put one of the best getaways I've ever experienced! A 45 minute drive from Puerto Vallarta airport brings you to a private secluded first class resort. You are truly treated like royalty. There was a security checkpoint upon arriving on the ground, and then we were greeted by staff with a brief introduction of services offered, meanwhile, we were given a choice of margarita or hibiscus drink, But somehow ended up with the latter and after the refreshment your carted off to one of the luxurious, oceanview rooms note they're only 120 rooms. The beach lounge chairs were so peaceful and relaxing and the service on the beach tends to your every need from offering you any type of margarita or adjusting your umbrella and then there's a woman that continuously walks by offering additional treats like Popsicles and popcorn or fruit on the stick or sangria such a fabulous service .There were iguanas hanging out in the trees above us while we lounged around. The room had a large balcony, offering a lounge chair and patio tables to catch the most beautiful sunsets. There was an outdoor shower and huge soaking tub. The pillows and bed were super comfortable, and they offered nightly bed service to include chocolate treats. The two butlers, were very attentive when we would send them a text we promptly received an instant reply. there's plenty of infinity pools which were a little warm for me. I prefer a cool refreshing temperature of 80°, but I did sleep better here than I did at home. This is the ideal, romantic honeymoon getaway. The only con is that the beach is not swimmable As far as the restaurants, there were three located directly on the beach, where you sit right on the sand. The food did not disappoint whether you're eating at Las Marietas, Majaqua Pop Up, Sea Breeze or Mita Mary they all rival to a five star meal along with the five star price, Oh well you only live once. To summarize it was only a two hour and 45 minute airplane ride from Los Angeles and the resort pretty much has everything and the best part of it to me were watching the gorgeous sunsets with the love of my life. Till we meet again, Adios!

The St. Regis Punta Mita sets the bar high for luxury resorts--everywhere. From check in to check out, our stay was absolutely stunning and personable. The team had insane attention to detail at every corner, nook and turn. Leo and Victor, our two butlers, as well as the countless staff who aided us throughout the stay, were patient, thoughtful and genuinely charismatic at each touch point. My mobility was limited during this stay due to a prior injury, but the team at St. Regis Punta Mita made it work. They arranged for golf karts at every outing, and checked in periodically to make sure we were doing well. The property, as well as the ocean view suite, were impeccable. Whether you're looking to unwind near one of their gorgeous pools, relax in the jacuzzi, or enjoy a romantic dinner on the beach--courtesy of one their restaurants, Mary Mita Boat Bar & Bistro. The list goes on. St. Regis Punta Mita -- thank you again for your hospitality and an unforgettable stay. You've successfully secured yourself as one of our top destinations worldwide. I'll be raving and cheering for y'all for many, many years to come. Can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous, romantic, and tranquil property! Loved that it wasn't overcrowded and the staff was very attentive!

2nd time visiting and still as magical as ever. From the second you arrive with a welcome drink AND MASSAGE!!!! What?????? Literally greeted with a 5 min massage hello? Awesome! To nighttime turn down service .... with a special sleep time gift, EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! Thank you to our three wonderful butlers Susana, Edgar, Jorge (they are all fabulous St Regis take note you have some real stars)... and to Antonio at the pool - your service was so 5 stars! If you are used to steak houses in the USA I would not recommend getting steak and any of the 5 star resorts in this part of Mexico because it just isn't the same but anything else is absolutely delicious!!! The sauces, salsas, fish, ceviche etc - all so fabulous! Everything is beautiful, the buffet breakfast is SO GOOD! Also the room service you guys is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend plus the hotel rooms are so nice so take advantage of a night in chilling. The outdoor shower was my favorite thing! Definitely feels very Queen and King at the St Regis! This is an incredibly romantic property. When comparing the One and Only, Surruros Del Corozon and St Regis you can't go wrong so my advice is to hotel hop, find the best deals and hit them all. Be sure to include St Regis on your journey. It truly is a luxurious vacation where you can get grounded with the Earth and Water again and be treated so well! Tip your staff they so deserve it!!!

St. Regis Beach Club, Punta de Mita

Although we didn't stay at the St. Regis, we visited the Beach Club, so this review is specifically about the Beach Club. One word....INCREDIBLE!!!!! The ambiance, amenities, service, location, and total experience was WAAAAY beyond expectations. In all honesty, it was heaven on Earth. Our server Ember was exceptional and left us wanting for nothing. The food and drinks are fantastic. Yes, it's pricey, but we'll worth it! We'll be back a few more times before heading home. Thank you St. Regis and thank you Ember for making a long lasting great memory.

St. Regis you have changed the expectation of hotels everywhere. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and cared for. The start are incredibly nice and professional we had many laughs joking with a few of the start. You are worth every penny!!!!

Welcome to paradise!

Where do I even begin... this place is such a magical treat!! Once you first step foot onto the resort, you are handed a marg and overlooking the property and ocean view. No gimmicks or hassle about timeshare (like most PVR hotels) just straight bliss upon arrival. The rooms were very clean and good sized. Patio has seating with an outdoor ceiling fan. Good sized shower, tub, and outdoor shower. TV includes Netflix and YouTube. COVID wise- felt extremely safe. Hotel was at 30% capacity. It even felt empty at times! One evening we had dinner at 7pm and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Must make reservations for gym use. Service was amazing! They were able to accommodate every request and I never had to lift a finger. Pool and beachside, they always provided ice cold water bottles right away. There were times I felt they were overcharging excessively - No coffee machine in room. Must order from private dining which was roughly $6 a cup not including tip. (Didn't realize we were at Blue Bottle) Paid about $25 for a bottle of sunscreen. Make sure you make a trip to oxxo before arriving. UBER isn't really available here and so we had to use their car service. They don't offer free shuttles. One way out is $7 and for a ride back, they charge double. So going to Oxxo which is right outside the resort (about 2 miles?) cost about $21 not including tip... really annoying that a short drive costs more than a whole meal. Also for reference, it costed only about $40 including tip for an hour long uber ride from airport to resort. The way back was roughly $120 including tip. Otherwise, this place is worth every penny! Amazing, safe getaway from the pandemic. Can't wait to return again in the future.

What amazing food, service, and ambience. This is the best vacation ever! Every restaurant was incredible and the sight seeing is lovely.

If there were 6 stars and more, this resort would surely deserve it. This was such an incredible experience and so memorable. -From my welcome mango margarita looking over the breathtaking views at reception, I already felt the stress level go down. -My room...which is decorated beautifully, had a huge soaking tub and outdoor shower. -Let's talk about those two welcome bags of chocolate covered raisins. Before my bags were unpacked, I had devoured one bag already. Imagine my surprise when I returned from dinner and there were TWO more waiting for me!! -Drinks at Carolina. The king of bartenders is Carlos! He is so talented and just watching him make cocktails was a treat as I sipped on a very refreshing Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Returned there for dessert after Sea Breeze. -Sea Breeze!!! Wow...Omar guided me through the menu and I ended up having items from the Mita Mary because I have a love affair with ceviche and camarone tacos! And they probably ran out of salsa because I ate so many tortilla chips (homemade of course). That is a great touch - having the choice of their menu as well as Sea Breeze. -The personal butler!! I was so spoiled. I loved being able to text Leo and Edgar. They arranged transportation, responded so quickly and I was afraid to ask them for more chocolate covered raisins!!!! The genuine hospitality is evident here and the grounds are perfectly manicured. Even though it was easy to navigate to the restaurants from my room, I used the golf cart service to drive me back. I wish I had time to enjoy the pool. Next time - just a quick stay and I look forward to my return.

Unparalleled service at the St. Regis Punta Mita. This is my 4th St. Regis property and definitely the best so far. Details matter. This resort understands that. With only 120 rooms on a sprawling property, the staff is able to provide 5 star service to every guest. Upon arrival, you get your choice of margarita or a hibiscus drink. You relax with an amazing view as check in comes to you. Morning coffee service by the butler staff is a really nice perk. Send a text and 15 minutes later, a pot arrives with your choice of 5 milks/cream and the New York Times digest. There are cabanas available for rent on the beach and there is a daily happy hour - where you can get 2 glasses of Veuve for $22! The St. Regis traditions are always amazing - the sabering of a champagne bottle being my personal favorite. It's lovely being in the same place as many of the guests, where we can all enjoy this tradition and collectively celebrate. We will definitely be back at this resort. It's unbelievable.

The St Regis Punta Mita is an exceptional property First the people All of the staff and management are first rate at this luxury hotel. The standouts to me were Julio who was the best butler we experienced at any St regis property. The word NO is NOT in his vocabulary Ruben at the Sea Breeze restaurant area as he went out of his in so many ways for us in the restaurant and at the bar Alejandro who is in upper management who is a delight to talk too and he can get things done The property The property is very beautiful but low key and spacious. People are not on top of each other like other resorts and because it is so spread out, it has a very exclusive feeling There are plenty of pools, love the popsicles at noon, the back massages on the beach, cold towels and more. All great touches that make you feel pampered The only negative I have about the hotel is that the water at the beach is not swimmable because of the rocks Other properties in the area are on other beaches that are swimmable but because everything else is so spot on and first class, you don't seem to mind If you go to this hotel, you will relax and thoroughly enjoy the pampering

For us, it was a romantic stroll along the warm sand beach to walk back to her place... Gorgeous, Gracious, Delicious, Perfectly Maintained Beautiful "Casita" in the most gorgeous beach (literally a few steps from the waves) in the area-service second to none! This tops every relaxing trip I have ever had-even better than Bora Bora. With a maximum of 8 beautifully appointed and sparkling clean rooms (16 guests) you will be outnumbered by staff (but never see them unless you need something they appear like magic) and will enjoy the quiet all adult environment. Yes it is all ADULT with no children which please make note of! If you don't have children or need a break from yours it is magically quiet with the exception of margarita glasses toasting and waves crashing. Even though it is "small" it is like staying at a magic castle with every detail in place including the swim up bar, tequila bar, and many different types of pool seating and cabanas. There is a library with games and tons of reading material in case you need some entertainment while you are there. This is perfect place to do nothing or enjoy the areas fine fishing/zip-lining/horses/sight seeing/golf. Literally the beach door pours you out onto perfect sand a "clean" beach and the surf is right there! Bathrooms/showers right as you return to clean up is perfectly planned out. The drinks are primo and strong, wine top notch, 3 meals a day were different and absolutely delicious everyday, the mini bar/snacks are stocked in the room, Gonzalo the chef and his helper's cuisine were so amazing we ate out once and never went out again. Each meal will be served (unless you want otherwise) sitting on the deck over looking the ocean and gorgeous sunsets. Did I mention this is an all inclusive resort ? Yes all inclusive meaning no signing, wondering how much to budget each day, tipping, pushing servers, or any worries till the end when you pay your balance and generously (because they deserve it!!!) tip the staff to the owner/manager so no awkwardness. If you have ever been at another all inclusive or cruise you will know what I am talking about. The water is purified meaning we brushed our teeth, bathed, and ate every last delish vegetable (raw) and not one person in our party ever felt anything but perfect. The grounds are beautifully maintained-I think there is a person who just goes around perfectly trimming leaves everyday! They can arrange for on-site facial/massage or truly anything else you wish. They packed up a lunch/drinks/goodies for a day of fishing and were extremely accommodating. One of my favorite parts is the three perfectly maintained, groomed, behaved, delightful small pups they have on the property. Besides their sweetness you would not even know they were there unless you seek them out! Mark the owner is top notch and has mastered the art of the perfect place to vacation! I know I am going to miss someone (sorry we loved you all) but Robert, Mauricio, Francisco, Charlie, David, (another fabulous server in the afternoon/evening who knew my Rose Vino Preference), and all of the fabulous maintenance/cleaning/kitchen crew were like family-we miss you and can't wait to return!

It was pure relaxation and amazing vibes all around. The property is truly stunning from the rooms, to the restaurants, the pools, the beach (our favorite), and the spa (absolutely must book something at the Spa to experience it). The excursion we booked was great and very easy to coordinate as you can book through the hotel. Truly what made this trip so special though was staff. They were absolutely amazing and all so kind. From the front to desk to wait staff to spa to bellhops. A couple special shoutouts below and I hope whoever is reading this gets to meet them: Itza: AMAZING poolside service. We loved getting to know her and she was so kind to us and remembered our orders after the first day so we would come down to the pool or back from the beach and have our drinks waiting for us. Augustino: Incredibly friendly and anticipated everything we could need. He had waters waiting for us at our chairs, drink refills just as we finished our current drinks, great food recommendations, and even better conversations. Gabby: At venazu she was our waitress on our first night and she was so fun to talk to. We chatted with her throughout the rest of our stay and is so much fun! Marco: FANTASTIC bartender at the living room bar. Was so nice chatting with him and having him make some cocktails or trying new liquors we haven't had before. Leiti & Gustavo: Both were fantastic at the front desk from check-in to check-out. We stopped by a few times throughout our stay to check on things and they were always so kind and helpful. Estella & Josue: Both helped us coordinate transportation to and from the airport and also an excursion to the marietas islands (you MUST go). Josue was so detail oriented and very easy to work with and Estella was amazing too. We will definitely be coming back again and making it a yearly trip :)

3.5 star hotel at a 4 star price!…read more W Punta de Mita is a fine hotel, tucked about 45 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta on a no traffic day, and maybe 75 minutes if there is bad weather. Two pools, one for all ages and another solely for adults. I think there were really only 4 restaurants in the entire hotel site. Chevycheria, which is a beach ceviche spot. Spice Market, which was Vietnamese. Venazu, which admittedly I didn't visit. And Rubra, which has a $200.00 tasting menu. There's also the pool food, which was perfectly adequate. If you're more of a vacationer than a traveler, then I think you'll find your stay here more than enjoyable. It is a hassle trying to get an uber to get you to the airport or to puerto vallarta, but there are also 2 or 3 other hotels in the area, so there may be drivers around. Regarding my experience, I was slightly annoyed that I didn't get a Marriot Elite upgrade to my room (the hostess said since I booked with points, that was a no-go). In reading someone else's Yelp review, they mentioned they at least got free breakfasts, which annoys me even more now since I wasn't offered that. Cleaning was spotty, as the first day the room wasn't cleaned until 6:00pm or so. The next day the room wasn't even cleaned at all. Overall, not an incredibly huge fan.

Our transfer dropped us off at the entrance to the resort where we were greeted by an employee who led us to the check-in desk and informed us that our bags would be sent to our room. Initially, the employee behind the desk was proceeding to book us into a room on the first floor. My wife is not a fan of the noise that generally accompanies being on the first floor, so she mentioned this to the employee who swiftly booked us a room on the second floor. The resort itself is beautiful, very spacious and has tons of seating through out. Whether you want to be in the party area of the resort or prefer a secluded area where you can relax and read a good book, there are plenty of options. For breakfast and lunch we enjoyed the myriad of food options available at the buffet; fortunately, I scored some very delicious ribs at the lunch buffet on one of the days. Unfortunately, the quantity of food options did not equate to quality and was quite inconsistent on a day to day basis. We dined at both the Mexican restaurant and steakhouse, which were both underwhelming (not sure how Mexican food in Mexico can be bad). If none of these options float your boat, there is also an Italian restaurant and hibachi. Although the lackluster food quality made it easy not to overindulge; to ensure that we weren't unrecognizable after the trip, we consistently utilized the fitness center. There were machines, free weights, and cardio equipment available to get a comprehensive workout in. If you're into spa treatments, there is a spa next door where you can pay for massages and other services. The overall customer service experience was good. However, I have to call-out and give extra kudos to one particular employee....Mayra from the Adelita Lobby Bar (one of our favorite places on the resort to enjoy a drink). From day one Mayra was very attentive and did a great job of checking in with us without hovering. One specific moment stood out to both my wife and I. Mayra overheard that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. Next thing we know, Mayra emerged from the bar area with a cute sized piece of cake with a candle and a mini balloon with a "J" on it (my wife's name is Janee). Mayra went above and beyond the call of duty to not only do this, but also memorized both of our names (which is not easy considering that we do not have traditional names). As long as we have our memories intact, we will never forget the bond that we built with Mayra. Adrian (another employee that generally works at the Adelita Lobby bar), not only makes great drinks (you can see the attention to detail that he puts towards making a drink), but is also very personable. I love when individuals take pride in their work while simultaneously being professional. Our favorite bars on the resort, were the Adelita Lobby Bar, the Sunset Bar (literally the best spot to watch the beautiful sunsets), and the La Duna bar. I would strongly recommend avoiding the swim-up bar, which serves consistently bad drinks (very unfortunate considering how convenient it is). If you're looking for a place to truly relax (if that's your goal), I recommend visiting Iberostar Playa Mita. However, I'm giving the resort three stars because management is adament about pushing a "90 minute presentation" that we declined at least four times because it felt predatory and manipulative (maybe they thought we were too inebriated to realize this).

This is also one of the only sandy beaches in Punta Mita where kids can learn to surf in a safe place. If you like to surf, boogie board, golf, play tennis, ride bikes, and do it all within an uber-safe environment this is the place!

We love Punta Mita and all it has to offer however we had a cruddy experience renting unit 1101…read more The owners failed to mention that the unit next door was under construction. For five days the sound of jack hammers and nail guns permeated our unit. They should have let prospective renters know about the construction so we could have made an informed decision about which unit to rent for the week. By the way the unit was not discounted, it was the same price as other available units. When we notified the owners of the situation (we sent them recordings) we received no response. Love Hacienda de Mita but avoid HDM 1101.

To me there are two things that really make this hotel special- the fantastic owners and the amazing staff who are so hospitable and accommodating, and the tranquil environment. Once you come in off the street and head back to the bungalows. Also the grounds are meticulously cared for, the decor is fantastic and authentic Mexican, and the bungalows come equipped with mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave along with dishes, cups etc... Everyone goes above and beyond to make our stays relaxing and fun. The pool is great and usually very quiet. They also have Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas and beach towels that you can take to the beach which is a couple minute walk, so you don't have to bring any of this stuff or worry about renting it. If you're looking for a great experience give Hotel Vogue a try! They are simply the best!

First, there is the Hotel Vogue staff -- the most friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff you will find anywhere! The owner, Marv, felt like family immediately. He was so friendly and made it feel like home. The front desk staff, especially Kevin, were all so amazing and helpful with local recommendations and all round kindness. Let's not forget about Pinata...the cutest and most affectionate hotel pup you WILL EVER MEET!!! She made us smile every day and we were so happy she was constantly wagging around and giving us love. We felt so incredibly safe at Hotel Vogue. We often even found that we were leaving our bags out on our open patio for long periods of time because Hotel Vogue is so safe. They had someone at the front door always and a private security gate PLUS a coded door at night so that you always felt very safe. The facilities in this hotel are BEAUTIFUL. Everything is very clean, comfortable, spacious and you feel like you are in a private oasis when you enter. It's right in the middle of town, but you don't feel like it once you enter Hotel Vogue. The amazing plants and wildlife makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The rooms are very spacious and extremely comfortable - they have made a beautiful space that is so authentic to the Mexican culture which is what we loved most. Even though the owners, Marv and Mary, are from Michigan, they have created the most authentic and beautiful space at Hotel Vogue. We cannot express how much we loved staying here for our honeymoon and NO DOUBT we will be back again! Thank you for everything Hotel Vogue!!
