I saved my fish and chips for the next day and after dinner, we went outside and sat by the fire for an hour and a half. Our waitress broke away from what she was doing to go make sure the fire was stoked, hot and ready for us. Now the fire, that is an awesome fireplace outside. Stacks of wood neatly arranged next to the large fireplace that extends approximately 15 feet high or more. There must've been 30 pieces of wood in the fire, and it was roaring! I loved it and so did my wife! This is the place to go folks if you need a good experience with customer service and excellent food. And the drinks were terrific. Our waitress nailed the drinks! We were sad to see her go for the evening, but we were picked up by another great server. If you're looking to golf, the golfers all started, this is the best place in the world to golf at. Not being a golfer, I had to listen and analyze why they thought so. I had visited Pebble Beach and never golfed there but wow, I never knew Bandon, Oregon was the top destination for Golfing. Now the bar.. it reminds me of the bars I grew up in back in Buffalo, it's just a small town watering hole and it might not be much to look at on the outside.. but it's on the inside where the magic happens. There's Oregon lottery machines, pool tables, dart boards and shuffleboard. The drinks are cheap and cold, the hospitality is heart warming and the food is delicious. Sean, the owner, greeted us and showed us where we could park. We had a couple of ice cold beers and a couple of great sandwiches, patty melt (pictured) and s grilled cheese.
