Four Seasons Hot Pot City is hot pot on steroids! It's like going to the supermarket for dinner, and for a fixed price, you can get as much of anything as you want. They have a wide variety of food: different slices of meat, seafood like shrimp, clams, mussels, alimasag, and basics like chicken and pork. They also have a pretty good selection of fresh vegetables to choose from. On both ends of the buffet, you'll also find cooked dishes, tuna and salmon sashimi, plus different kinds of rolls. When you sit down, you have to choose what kind of soup you want to cook with. I suggest getting chicken and saté so you have choices. The service is great, but try to come early or reserve during the first seating. This is because they sometimes take a while to refill food or they run out of selected meats. Some Chinese tourists also don't know how to line up, so best to be assertive!

Lovely fresh greens for your soup!

Their sauces came from bottled pre made stuff. Here at Buffet 101. Service was very attentive. Beautiful restaurant. Enough decoration to make it pleasant without over doing it. But more importantly we love the food. We will definitely be back here again.

For example: the alleged "sushi" section was full of apocryphal abominations like "ham nigiri" ffs. The "Italian meatballs" were made of some weird sweet meat-like substance, and anyone trying to sell that in Italy fully deserves to get whacked by the local mob. The "sangria" tasted like maybe 10% red wine and 90% Kool Aid. The "draft beer" was of course San Miguel, a.k.a. vaguely beer-flavored fizzy water. About the only thing it has going for it is the upscale, glitzy decor (high ceilings, mirrors mirrors everywhere, Las Vegas style lighting, etc.) for which they clearly did spend a good amount. Unfortunately, you cannot eat ambiance. Service is good but hey of course it is, this is the Philippines where labor is dirt cheap and abundant, folks are hungry and happy to work very very hard for next to nothing. Better than those rude, bratty and snotty French waiters of course, but can't make up for the fact that this place is such a tourist rip-off in all other respects. I am utterly embarrassed that I wasted the money (1200PHP = $22 USD per head which is extravagant in this country but average in the US where a $22 buffet usually gets you better food than this) and stupidly long wait time for this place (we came an hour before they opened and had to wait in line with an overflow crowd of nearly 100 people who could not all fit inside so admittance was gradual, like an Apple store when a new iPhone is released). First time will be our last!

Went here for dinner service and MAN- what a treat! I loved how most of the food is served to you…read morerather than scooping your own and the selections of dishes are well executed. The antipasti, butter and bread bar was pretty good, though the breads were soft, I wish some were served warm to go with 5-6 types of butter. The French food/pizza was good too, but they seemed the most busy or maybe short staffed. I stood there for a few minutes before anybody even acknowledged me. They had a few people bring cold lobster from a separate area asking for them to be grilled/warmed up. The Japanese/tempura was good. The hibachi was EH. There was just meat and seafood sitting on a slightly warm flat top. Then there was the sushi area that was slicing sashimi constantly. It was delicious! There was the cold seafood area, though the shrimp was cooked perfectly, it lacked seasoning... maybe salt the water next time? They had a sliced meat area, Indian food, dim sum, Thai, Filipino food, Chinese bbq meats, soup station... everything was good. As for the desserts... nothing too crazy- they have a few ice cream flavors, smaller desserts, halo halo, fruit, and a chocolate fountain. There was a guy walking around serving up some street style balut! Shout out to their bartender, Reymond, that made a Calamansi whiskey sour... complete with the egg white!!!

Complaint Against Buffet 101 Glorietta 2 (Dine at your own risk)…read more This is to share our very disappointing experience at Buffet 101 Glorietta 2 during our family gathering on December 26, 2025 (lunch, 11:30 AM - 3:30PM). We were a group of 28 pax, celebrating our Christmas party, our late grandmother's death anniversary, December birthday celebrators, and a family reunion. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a joyful occasion turned into a frustrating and disrespectful experience due to the following: 1. Reservation Issue * We reserved the function room as early as November 11, 2025, with a 50% downpayment as required. * Prior to payment, my sister personally visited on Nov 10 and was ushered by 2 staff members to the function room. I also rechecked the venue the next day before making the payment. * I even received a call on Dec 25th to confirm our reservation in the function room. * Despite these, upon arrival on Dec 26, the receptionist claimed our reservation had no endorsement for the function room. We had to explain and insist, and only after waiting 10-15 minutes were we accommodated--because another group was already occupying the room we reserved. 2. Food Quality * While advertised as "unlimited refill," several food stations were incomplete. * Items like pork belly were served cold, and some stations had missing dishes, which was disappointing for a buffet of this caliber. 3. Birthday Presentation Mismanagement * Around 1:30-2 PM, staff offered the customary birthday sing-and-dance for our three celebrators. We agreed, expecting it to happen promptly. * Instead, staff delayed, setting up equipment but never performing. This wasted our scheduled time for parlor games, forcing us to cancel the presentation altogether. 4. Food Restock Cut-Off * At 2:30 PM, staff informed us that food restocking would end at 2:45 PM. We acknowledged this and thanked the member who informed us. * At 2:40 PM, I settled the remaining balance and even gave a tip--something I regretted after what happened next. 5. The Blackout Incident * At 3:10 PM., the lights in our function room were "unintentionally" turned off. Not for a second, but for several minutes. One by one, we went outside. * Only our room was affected, creating chaos as family members scrambled to gather belongings using phone flashlights. * Adding insult to injury, my brother lost ₱500, during the blackout. 6. Poor Handling & Lack of Compensation * Some of the relatives confronted the staff and manager in the lobby. The staff member/cashier responsible admitted it was "unintentional". The manager kept on repeating the same explanation as the cashier's, who switched off the lights, but never offered even a single good resolution. It seemed to us that he offered the staff member as the bait. They apologized, but the apology felt insincere. * When asked about compensation, the manager and staff fell silent. No courtesy check was done before switching off the lights, and no concrete resolution was offered. Additionally, no proper channels are available for such incidents except for platforms such as their Facebook page, Google Reviews, and TripAdvisor. * We remained diplomatic and respectful, with no cussing, but the lack of accountability was unacceptable! This experience left our entire family frustrated, disrespected, and disappointed. What should have been a day of celebration was ruined by poor management, lack of professionalism, and negligence. We sincerely hope Buffet 101 Glorietta 2 takes this as a lesson to improve customer service, reservation handling, food quality, and staff accountability. Families come to your establishment to celebrate milestones--please ensure they leave with happy memories, not frustration. And as I told your staff members that day: "If you were in our shoes, having fun and celebrating with your family members, how would you feel if the lights were suddenly turned off without warning? How would that make you feel?"

Title: Exceptional 60th Birthday Stay with Top-Notch Service…read moreI seldom write reviews, but when I do, it's because I want to share a truly honest experience. When I vacation, I plan ahead and prefer staying in 4 to 5-star hotels. I don't mind spending money as long as the experience is worth it--that's the whole point of a vacation! From the moment I stepped out of my car, the service was extraordinary. Everyone, from the concierge to the front desk and the restaurant staff where I celebrated my birthday, was incredibly polite and accommodating. Most importantly, the hotel was spotless. I was initially worried because it's a casino hotel and I feared it would be smoky (which is a concern for my asthmatic child), but it was very fresh. The brunch buffet at Fresh was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. You truly get what you pay for. A special thank you to Ms. Valdez for assisting with my booking all the way from California! Regarding security and safety: after lunch, we checked in and headed to the pool to relax and watch the Manila Bay sunset. I was impressed to see lifeguards everywhere. I even overheard a child asking to remove her life vest because she felt she was tall enough, but the lifeguard asked, "Can you swim?" When she said no, the lifeguard firmly said, "No." Seeing that level of responsibility made me feel so much more comfortable leaving my kids in the pool area. The room itself was a sanctuary. The bedding was high-quality, and despite the hotel being busy, the soundproofing was excellent--I couldn't hear any noise from the casino floor or the hallways. For a parent with an asthmatic child, I also noticed the AC filters were well-maintained; there wasn't a hint of dust or that old hotel' smell. It sad to say they beat Caesar Palace Las Vegas . The location is perfect for those who want to be near the airport without feeling like they are in a 'transit' hotel. Being right by Manila Bay gives you those world-class sunset views that you just can't get anywhere else in the city. It felt like a true resort getaway in the middle of the metro. Check-out was seamless. They offered various transportation options, from a private limousine to Grab services for the airport. Thank you to Ms. Pam and Ms. Marge for the excellent customer service. They truly made this vacation stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel! 100 percent will come back again!

Upon entering you're greeted by ladies wearing long colorful dresses, who can assist with directions. However, there is a dress code, which is strictly enforced, (No tank tops, flip flops, or beach wear). There's a large casino onsite offering slots and table games similar to those in Las Vegas. They also offered Passport Hot Stamping at the Louis Vuitton store, which I took advantage of. The resort, hotel and mall staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, making me very comfortable.

As expected, their buffet area is also smaller with limited choices, but at least closer to the customer tables. I have always loved their sushi creations and smokeless grill options, but they can improve on their cuisine selections. Some weren't as appealing, such as their seafood/Chinese section. Also, while their desserts are kept cold in the glass fridge, no staff was available often to serve the customers the desserts they like. Overall, the dinner with my friends was worth it here because we had enough time to catch up while grilling and eating. I personally loved how they have "unli" coffee that can go well with desserts, despite the off-selection with main cuisines. When they told me there will be KBBQ and sushi, I said 100% YES. My two favorite things in the world in one place - heaven. So we went there, waited for a bit since we're a bigger group and to put it all simply I was not impressed. By the food. I think Filipino hospitality has already made its name but their sushi options are not the greatest (but there's sashimi so that's +1). Also I guess I'm used to the simple beef brisket and chadol sauce in LA so I did not really need the wide array of meats. I barely touched half of those. I guess if you're a first timer it's worth a try, but for next time, I'd probably just go to Buffet 101.
