His workers are amazing and courteous (we have seen Jose work his magic for at least 3 projects now!) and the work is soooo clean. We are so happy with the way the bathroom turned out. In previous years, Karl would update us on the progress and monetary balance every 2 days but now he does it every week. Which is fine. His workers also did four 10-hour days with Friday off, and that worked for us too. We have a friend who hired someone else to do a big renovation job based on price and he regrets it bitterly. He tells us every day how this other company has messed up and blown past deadlines and wasted his time. He had used H&H in the past and just didn't this time and hates the other company. We, on the other hand, were quoted 6 weeks for our bathroom and it was done in 3. I never felt like the workers were dawdling and I saw them busting their butts every day getting lots of progress done. We are very happy. I'll include a before and after pic of our bathroom. When the new pump was not working right he promptly contact the Jandy representative who personally came to our home to figure out what was wrong. The Jandy rep even complimented John on the his crew in how well his plumbers and electricians always hook everything up and do not cut corners. Turns out the one that was sent was defective so John had Jandy send out another one within 2 weeks. He then had his crew unhook the old one and hook up the new one. He even made a video tutorial for me on how to use it. Wonderful company! We will use them again for other project needs!

Then he told me there's a larger problem and his friend can do it for cheap. So I called his friend. The friend found another leak and he fixed that and said all is good except main valve which I may or may not need to fix it. He charged me $350. Then we turn it on and there's leaks everywhere. After all that, I got sick of the many people half fixing it so I called A+. They fixed everything with a reasonable price. I ended up paying double the cost of the issue because I didn't call them first. Next time, I'm calling them first.

Chris completely repaired all the old worn out exterior on the home including a lot of siding rot, wood rot, and even fixed a pier in the process. Everything was caulked and sealed perfectly. It's gorgeous. Then, after a big ice storm, my roof had damage from a large cottonwood tree and my insurance company was threatening to cancel my policy even though they didn't pay enough for me to fix it along with removing damaged trees. They were helpful helping us select the correct gutter we wanted. The price was much lower then the other 4 companies I contacted, but that doesn't mean the work or service was less. We got the color we wanted and they worked with us removing the old ones and giving us time to paint before installing the new ones. Everything was installed in just 3 hours. I hired Kyle Roberts for a project to add a bathroom and closet to my modest 1000sq ft east side…read morecottage. The project was estimated to take four months for a budget of $140k. Instead, the project took over a year and was $60k over budget. Some of this was due to unforeseen circumstances (like unexpected electrical rewiring to fix existing issues). Most of this, however, was due to Kyle being unresponsive to both myself as the homeowner and his contractors who told me time and time again that they were unable to reach Kyle for time-sensitive decisions and instructions. Additionally, when his team made mistakes (which they did frequently due to a lack of supervision or the wrong plans on set or a litany of other reasons), Kyle charged me for the time and materials required to redo the work. Not only was the project poorly managed and way over budget and timeline, the quality of the work was so poor that I am still dealing with broken plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues that continue to cost me thousands of dollars to repair. All the faucets leak. The doors don't close properly. The floor is so unlevel (despite being an addition) that furniture doesn't fit properly. The HVAC vent in my son's room was covered up so there's no airflow coming into the bedroom. After a plumbing emergency the weekend I moved back in during which raw sewage came up through my new shower because his team had left the test plug in (!!!), Kyle was nowhere to be found. He didn't respond to calls, emails, texts, or messages in WhatsApp and Signal, and I ended up being on the hook for the nearly $3k plumbing bill to repair his team's mistake. Once I finally heard back from him on Monday, he and I agreed to part ways and terminate the relationship. I clearly laid out for him the conditions of the termination in writing, and he accepted. I have not heard from him again and, true to my word, have contracted directly with professionals that are repairing his team's work at my expense. Now I am receiving Intent to Lien notices from the subcontractors that he neglected to pay for work he contracted with them directly. He and I did not have a contract, and there are no grounds under which I am responsible for these payments. Kyle created pull requests for work completed, and I paid them same day. Every single time. Apparently, KYLE HAS NOT PAID HIS SUBS and they are now coming after me. Fortunately, I have documentation dating back to the beginning of the project that demonstrates Kyle's negligence as a General Contractor, as well as the documentation from all of the professionals I've had to contract since we terminated the relationship that are willing to go on record to describe the egregious mistakes and lack of craftsmanship in everything from the framing to the plumbing to the finish out, so I'm hopeful that I will not continue to be held responsible for Kyle's lack of attention and oversight.
