I had a very disappointing experience with this dental clinic especially with location Boulder…read morelane. Today I came for my scheduled cleaning appointment, but the location does not exist anymore. I was shocked. No one informed me that the office had moved or closed. I had to call another location, and they told me they could see my appointment in the system, but the location I went to is no longer there. This is extremely irresponsible. Patients should be notified if an office changes location if they have appointments scheduled!!! Since they moved, I also don't know what's going to happen with my Invisalign. Did they move my retainers to a different location? Which location? I don't know. And nobody called me about it. Unfortunately, this is not the first problem I've had with them. Another time they scheduled me for an appointment regarding my Invisalign. When I arrived, they told me my new Invisalign trays had not even arrived yet. That means I came there for no reason just to talk to the nurse about something we had already discussed weeks before. There was also another situation when I came for an appointment and the receptionist simply told me the doctor could not see me that day. Why wasn't I called or sent a message that my appointment was canceled? It feels like they don't respect patients' time at all. This clinic seriously needs to improve their communication and organization. Very frustrating experience.

I went to them at least 6 times, getting extensive work done, and I was never informed that they do not take HMO plans from my insurance. I had to contact THEM for them to tell me this, after I saw a letter from my insurance that I owed over 3k for work I had already paid the "copay" for. I had received payment reminders through text messages from an unfamiliar number multiple times, but with no business attached to it (I googled the number to be sure), I had thought it was some kind of scam. It wasn't until I received the same message from Swish through my email on Jan 20th that I realized what it was. I had been seeing them for about a year by this point. Part Two: I worked out a payment plan with Swish and was told that I could text them monthly with the script "This is [my name]. I'd like to make a payment of [$$$] on my account, with the card on file ending in [####]." So I've been doing this every month around the 4th since January. It is now May. Since I was getting help from my parents to pay this bill, I did not have access to the account information to confirm the charges went through. At the beginning of this month (May 7th), I texted them asking for an updated bill, and got no response. So I went onto their website and saw that the phone # to text has changed. So I texted the new # with the same request about an updated bill. No response. I also emailed them. Still no response. Then today, I got a letter in the mail from a debt collector where it looks as though the only charge that went through was the first one (which I did over during the same phone call where I was told I could text their number with the script above). I was receiving payment reminders from Swish through my emails as recently as March, with the debt going down with each payment. But if my debt with them was already sold, then what was I paying them for?

Erica, my hygienist, educated me on my gum health, and noticed signs of wear on my teeth due to clenching; which I imagine I do when I'm sleeping. Erica took photos of each tooth, measured my gums, and validated that my oral hygiene practices at home are on par. During my examination, we saw signs of decay, and there was enough time in the schedule for me to start the process of placing a crown on my tooth. From the moment Dr. James numbed me to the moment my temporary crown was placed, I was treated with the utmost care. The team remembered my son, who visited not too long ago, and were as joyful and relatable as can be. They even offered me a cozy blanket during my procedure! I mean, who does that? Pecan Park Family Dentistry does! All in all, though it was my first time at their practice, I was made to feel like family. Like I was being taken care of by my girlfriends, and I am beyond grateful to have crossed paths with them!

There is only one Dr. to choose from now but, they still have Dr. Wong in their vm system so, when I initially booked I thought I would have more than one option but, that's not the case. The link for their new patient paperwork didn't work and I never received a call from a hygienist. That was actually fine because I had actually forgotten my questions and figured I could just ask during my visit. The person I spoke to, Miranda while very sweet seemed flustered at all my questions on the phone and rushed me off deferring me to get a call back. I get it, the office was likely busy but ...don't offer a call back that you can't follow through on! I emailed back and forth a couple times regarding the call back within the span of a week's time and, after being told they were about to call that Friday morning and then they never did, I just let it go. Not that important. It seems like the best deal in town but, I started to think that maybe you get what you pay for and, while I'm sure the one Dentist here is very experienced and they stay very busy, I'd be concerned about the quality of care considering how they handled me on the phone. The second person I booked with was more patient and we I actually got confirmation texts and emails unlike the first attempt with Miranda. She also helped me cancel with no question or issue. I just can't take a gamble on my teeth no matter how tempting the pricing might be. I just found Austin Dental Spa. They offer Care Credit and have two very experienced Dentists (a male and a female option) so, they are my next stop to get my teeth the cleaning and care they deserve. Thanks, anyway Pecan Park! Peace out, SC

I'm 77 yrs old and never have had a crown with a perfect bite first time around. The staff is fantastic. Most notably Selma: a hygienist extraordinaire. You'll never forget your appointment here. She also doesn't push unnecessary treatments which I appreciate as someone who is both budget conscious and takes very good care of my teeth. It even seems like prior issues with finding consistent hygienists have been remedied. Unfortunately they still have a lot of issues finding reliable and knowledgeable front desk personnel, and as a result I have had a TON of billing issues, which ultimately resulted in my and my family leaving the practice. Although these issues have persisted the entire 4 years I have been a patient, most recently I was not told my and my child's visit was out of network until I received the bill. Apparently the practice has not updated their information with insurance providers and the old doctor is still listed as in network even though the practice changed hands nearly a year ago. Although I don't believe it was done on purpose, it certainly affected my family in a financially negative way and it is reflective of the overall poor communication and billing practices.

Appointment, insurance verification, checking in - everything was handled with attention to every detail. Super friendly staff, very approachable and qualified physician. Treatment plan was ready in less then 10 min, I needed an emergency extraction, they made an appointment in a different location while I was still in the chair. I can only thank them for making my day less stressful. As a bonus, the office manager recommended a coffee shop near by that happened to be just great :)

Yall I can't imagine why anyone with free will would come to this place. The first time I showed up…read morethey had me there for 2 hours for a consult and a cleaning. They spent the whole 2 hours trying to get their X ray machine fixed Second time they had me scheduled for a deep cleaning of half my mouth and laser gum therapy, they billed me for both but failed to tell me they don't have someone present to do the laser therapy so they only cleaned half my mouth. I had to reschedule my third appointment because I had a work conflict and they were threatening to charge me a $50 fee even after their past screwups The third time the dental hygienist was ready to clean the other side of my mouth, noticed plaque on the side that was previously cleaned 2 weeks before but said she can only clean one side of my mouth. This is when I decided I wouldn't be returning. I want to leave the dentist with a clean mouth, not just half a clean mouth! The deep cleaning was stupid expensive because they failed to tell me they were out of network with my insurance, had I known that I wouldn't have even gone. Run, don't walk, away from this place unless you like going to a dentists office where the staff isn't ready to work, is ready to over bill you, and is you like professionals taking to you in a really condescending tone. I've lived in Dallas, Austin, and Houston, I usually go every 6 months and in general LOVE the dentist. This is by far, the worst, practice I've ever been to. They run this place like it's a popsicle stand as opposed to operating it like a professional establishment.
