I have now had two procedures completed by Dr. Collins and a third scheduled. Everything about this dental/endodontics practice is great. Dr. Collins works carefully, quickly, and painlessly, and explains everything he is about to do or has done in comprehensive (and comprehensible) detail to ensure that his patients understand the treatment they are receiving. His hygienist/assistant is likewise perfectly professional, efficient, and solicitous. His office manager handles appointments and insurance in the same manner. Customer experience is huge for me. I would not recommend this practice. You can take my review with a grain of salt since i decided to go with a different endodonist but wanted to share my experience in hopes that the staff is more sensitive to the customer experience than just the quality of the work. I was referred to this practice as I had deep infections in a few of my teeth with no exact idea why. Emotions were high for me (given that I'm 32 and having issues that usually happen later in life and just business of a working mom). All went well, very standard, until met the specialist. Super cold, didnt answer questions until he completed ALL checks (45mins in), could tell that I'm overwhelmed and told me with a cold face "don't get ahead of yourself here." Just super cold, matter of fact and even a little rude with responses to my questions or comments. I was willing to go back because i just wanted to get everything fixed but they were out of network for me. When they called to schedule the appt for the work, i kindly let them know that they are out of network to which the receptionist tone completely switched. read more

Collins Endodontics raise the bar I had some rare and hard to remove material in root canals. Some of them hadn't been treated at all and some even had a piece of instrument stuck in there. I was told at least three times that it was impossible to treat those teeth and that they had to be extracted. Dr. Collins was finally able to treat them the right way. And I'm really grateful for his professionalism and dedication. I truly had been preparing myself to accept that I was about to lose another tooth on the opposite side. All the reviews are true. Dr. Collins and his assistant were very professional. I went in for a consultation and left having had the procedure taken care of. He explained every single thing he did to me before he did it. He never talked down to me, I never felt any pain or discomfort. I never even felt pressure on my head. Dr. Collins performed a retreat on an old root canal that had some swelling and infection going on. I now feel confidant about the follow up and he's even going to match the filling to my teeth better than was previously done. Dr. Collins looks like he graduated from college last Tuesday. If he could bottle that, he'd be a frillionaire, but sadly for the rest of us, it must just be good genes and clean living, because - to my complete shock - he's actually been a dentist for a very long time. Do not let his fountain-of-youth appearance put you off... I admit, I was a little nervous going to someone who looked like they must be brand new at it. Apparently he was a general dentist before going back to specialize in endodontics, and he's extremely skilled at what looks just comically difficult. While no one enjoys a root canal, Dr. Collins does it as quickly and comfortably as possible. His office is clean and modern, they offer movie glasses and his staff is great. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Collins. I was referred by my dentist for a problematic tooth that already had a root canal, and was warned that I might lose that tooth. Dr. Collins was my only hope. I was very nervous and skeptical about going to see him because I could not find any reviews on him. I have never written reviews before, but my experience was so exceptional, I have to write about it. Great looking, modern office. Friendly and sweet staff, they make you feel at ease and care for your well being. Dr. Collins is very professional, super knowledgeable, and he will make you feel comfortable. He explains everything in detail, the procedure as a whole and if problems arise during treatment. His office overlooks a pretty green hill that you can view as you lay in his chair. Before the procedure, he asked me if I wanted to watch a movie during it, and I was like, "Really? That's awesome! Of course!" He handed me a movie menu and gave me the 'movie' goggles. I laid back and watched my movie during the whole procedure. How awesome is that? Made my root canal retreatment a super pleasurable experience. Not to mention that he has every modern tool to make an 1-2 hour annoying procedure more comfortable for you jaw/mouth. I highly recommend him if you need any type of root canal treatment. Five stars all the way! I have to go back in 2 weeks for a follow up, and this experience makes me look forward to going back. read more

I am very happy with Dr Collins. I've had a root canal before and this time was so much better. He's very thorough with his work and surprisingly less pain than what I've had in the past. He has a modern office and does a great job explaining everything as he goes. You can also watch a movie if you choose to. I was referred to Dr. Collins two times, and both times I have had a good experience. The last time I was there, I had severe pain in my lower jaw that spread up my ear. Dr. Collins cleared space in his schedule to fit me in right away (I am very grateful for this). I am not sure if he will do this in all cases of severe pain, but I am sure that if he can, he will make a good effort at fitting you in. At the last visit, he suggested that we wait a couple of weeks to see if the pain was due to a recent filling, rather than pursuing a root canal right away. He also suggested some pain killers to ease the pain. Within a few days, the pain was completely gone, he was right! He really looks at solving the problem, and he really listens to the type of pain you're having. I highly recommend others to see him if you have problems with your roots. A+++ read more

The best dentist for root canal! You can not be wrong to go with him. I had two root canals over the last two years with Dr. Collins. They all last well. One teeth was rotten with almost 1/3 gone, he still managed to keep the teeth with some post implanted. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing, and he does it precisely and quick. He would explain each step he does, and print out the pictures to show you the difference. Very nice environment, you may choose to watch movies during the process, nice assistant with comforting smiles all the time. And Dr. Collins really cares about his patient, even after one year, he gave me free recalls to check the work, and even helped to fix some disturbing crown for free too! I was impressed with my recent visit to see Dr. Collins about a previous root canal that had developed an infection and needed to be redone. He was very thorough to ensure the right treatment was suggested/performed to address the problem and had open communication with me about everything he discovered.
