Dr. Stacy was super comfortable in her element, sounded and appeared incredibly confident, she was also very knowledgeable and gave effortless reassurance that made an anxiety veteran like myself be at ease. I went in for a root canal: first one of my life and dentistry have always been a very traumatic fear of mine due to callous, unforgiving dentists I had since childhood. My fear was so deathly, I refused to go to the dentist after I became an adult who struggled with suicidal depression from 17-24 and all I knew at the time was awful misery and dentists who didn't even think about my comfort. Having natural teeth and mouth issues such as a small jaw, having baby teeth still, I had braces for six years and other variables that are hereditary; the very thought of going to anyone who specializes in teeth still makes my throat tighten and stomach sink. But Dr. Stacy was everything I didn't expect in the most delightful way. I have never felt more at ease, comfortable in a medical office before. Even her associates were knowledgeable, very well mannered and just as confident. I have no pain after the root canal after only three days, her careful precision was a huge relief, I didn't feel uncomfortable during the procedure either---overall, it was cathartic for me and I highly recommend anyone who had extreme trauma from dentistry go to Dr. Stacy for her speciality. I was also out faster than I expected, I felt like I didn't get punched in the face after from the intense numbing which is the worst part! Root canal price was also very fair, they do accept insurance but they are considered no network. But you don't have to worry about that either cause they handle even that for you! They do accept care credit and you can apply there after treatment--if I ever have any root canals in the future, God forbid. I know where I'm going. Both of my appointments with Dr. Ianiro have been excellent. Everyone I interacted with, Cathlyn (spelling?), Anna, Dr. Ianiro, etc., hasvbeen wonderfully attentive, kind and professional while remaining present and down to earth. I really enjoyed the attention and the sense that I wasn't being rushed through. As someone with dental anxiety, I highly recommend getting your specialized care at Ianiro Endodontics. Dr. Ianiro is highly skilled and a great communicator. She took the time to explain what the images showed in detail and the upcoming procedure, providing sufficient time to ask questions without feeling rushed. She was also very kind which can be lacking in so many medical and other places of business. All this made what is otherwise a very stressful situation into a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Ianiro Endodontics! read more

Ianiro Endodontics - Beautiful Office ~ Ianero - Endodontists Near Me - Austin, Texas

When I went to my dentist for a cleaning back in early December and got the bad news that I needed a root canal for a tooth damaged years ago, I have to admit to being a bit petrified. Outside of orthodontics and removal of my wisdom teeth, I have never had any work done on my teeth. The thought of anyone drilling into my teeth was very unnerving. My dental office recommended Dr. Staci Ianiro, and boy, am I glad they did. The entire experience was as pleasant as it possibly could be when you are getting a root canal. From the receptionist to the assistant, Anna, to Dr. Ianiro herself, everyone demonstrated compassionate, professional care. I found out from the receptionist that my home care package would include my choice of a Central Market soup. There is a real sense of family and teamwork in Dr. Ianiro's office. She herself takes time to ensure her patients are comfortable. She apologized for the shots, saying that the second one was likely to be uncomfortable, but quite honestly, she did such a great job with the injections that I hardly noticed. The work she did on my tooth was beautiful. If you need endodontics care, this is a fabulous team! read more

I came in for an infected root canal and honestly, I was so scared. I didn't go to the dentist much as a kid, and that habit carried into my 20s--not great, I know, but it's the truth. Staci numbed me up really well, reassuring me that the worst part would be the shots. She checked on me the whole time, and to my surprise, I barely felt them at all. The entire procedure was virtually painless. The hardest part was just keeping my mouth open while she worked, but she was incredibly quick and efficient. Afterward, they even offered me soup from Central Market, which was such a thoughtful touch--and it was delicious! She gave me her cell number too, just in case anything came up in the middle of the night, which I really appreciated. Thankfully, I'm doing great--it's day two, and I feel amazing. My cheek is a little sore, but barely! Overall, a 10/10 experience, and I highly recommend them. Hopefully I never need anymore work done but if I do I'll be coming back to her. read more

Spectacular. Seriously. SPECTACULAR. I went in with my husband who was referred to Dr. Ianiro and we were both blown away by her care, compassion, expertise, and the attention she gave us. I really don't know what a "root canal" is, but my dentist said if I didn't get one soon, my head would explode. That can't be pleasant. He referred me to Dr Ianiro because she's the best at "Root Canal Therapy." But my dilemma here was Dr Ianiro wasn't on my dental plan, and my internal debate quickly became, "What's going to be worse - a large bill or an exploding head?" I could argue either way. I decided to keep the head. The initial consultation was $300, which included a mini-me MRI machine that whirled 360-degrees around my skull, probably because it houses my teeth. The second visit was the two-hour procedure itself, and it cost me $1460. How was it? I really couldn't tell you, because I had to bring the Xanax they prescribed for me & take it when I arrived. And by the time they were drilling away I wasn't caring all that much. I didn't even bother choosing between the Central Market soups they offer when you leave. Pretty cool though. The bottom line is Dr Ianiro was pleased with the results, my dentist was pleased with the notes & pictures she sent, and I'm pleased that if I ever do this again, I'll know what to expect. But first, I'm probably going to upgrade my dental plan. read more

Ianiro Endodontics - I think this is supposed to be "bad tooth/good tooth." I do like those pretty canal trails in the post pic... - Endodontists Near Me - Austin, Texas

I was referred to Dr. Ianiro for a root canal. I went in being scared about the procedure since I've had quite a few in the past and even more apprehensive because of covid. As soon as I walked in I knew I'd be safe. The entire team was masked and very professional. Dr.Ianiro and her assistant worked together like clockwork. What a team! Dr.Ianio explained everything and put me at ease. All in all, this was the best root canal I've ever had. I highly recommend Ianiro Endodontics. Oh and they gave me soup to take home which is really thoughtful and caring.. read more

Got referred here after my left upper molar was bugging me, I thought I was going to have to have to have a crown, but after looking at my teeth and X-rays, it was determined- all I need is a night guard. I do grind a bit on my teeth, I'm sure I've been needing this for awhile, but hopefully I can get this issue resolved here. The only take away is about is how they charged us, I wasn't expecting to charged up front for the total amount, usually they just take the insurance info and then invoice us later for what the insurance didn't cover, that was kind of awkward & I wasn't prepared. I will be next time, if need be. I think it was because they were not in our network.. need to check that next time. Overall the experience was great and glad to know I didn't need a root canal or a crown, TG! read more

I went into Dr. Stacy Ianiro for a root canal consultation, but already had my appointment scheduled with her for the next week. I was able to complete my paperwork online and only had to digitally sign a few consent forms when I arrived. Very convenient and no wait! Stacy was incredibly professional and easy to talk to... she was friendly and patiently answered my (numerous) questions. She looked at my x-rays and did several tests to determine which tooth was causing me pain. I was really surprised when it t turned out that I didn't actually need a root canal! She asked if I was grinding my teeth and suggested that my pain was probably caused by this. And she was right - I used to have a mouth guard until my dog ate it! After asking me several more questions, she added that I consider doing a sleep study and went on to explain that because of my large sinuses (visible on the x-ray) and a few other symptoms, I was probably grinding my teeth because I was having trouble breathing well when sleeping. Not only did she not try to perform an unnecessary root canal, but she took the time to explain in detail what could be causing the pain. She said that I should try an over the counter mouth guard for a couple weeks to see if the pain went away. And offered to reevaluate my teeth for no charge if that didn't seem to help. Everyone on her staff - from the receptionist to her assistant - was incredibly friendly. I echo another reviewer's sentiment that I wish Stacy practiced general dentistry because I need a new general dentist. And if I ever DO need a root canal, I'll be back in her office without hesitation. read more

I haven't met anyone who says "OOooooo I LOVE ME root canals!" I've had my fair share of them. Been to real baad Endodontists and I thought the best one. I was going to fly back to Cali to get my root canal done by my "man" but I couldn't wait for an appointment that far out. My face felt like it was going to fall off. I looked on Yelp and found Dr. Ianiro. I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the office, equipment, and procedure. The office: Staff is extremely professional and friendly. Keurig coffees and hot cocoa. Sodas and water available. The assistant asked if I wanted a blanket before the procedure started. The office is nicely decorated and clean. The equipment: Modern equipment. Not the old fashion way where they put the bristle up the root canal, dig, dig, X-ray and repeat few more times. The Xray machine was a gun, not the ones on a swinging arm. Special machine to know if the root was completely removed (so you don't have to have to be exposed to multiple X-rays). The procedure: Dr. Ianiro ALWAYS made sure that I was comfortable. This was painless. Seriously!! I fell asleep a few times during the procedure. Dr. Ianiro is BOMBASTIC! At the end of the procedure, I was given 4 Ibuprofens and was given soup to take home! Soup wasn't the canned stuff. It was from Central Market from the take out area! I hope I won't need another root canal, but if I need another one I DEFINITELY will come here without hesitation. This office warrants 10 STARS!!! read more

I was referred by my General Dentist to Dr Staci as my tooth needed a scan to determine the problem. During the same appointment, Dr Staci determined that I did need a root canal. The staff and Dr Staci could not have been kinder. Great experience even though a root canal is not fun. However, no pain and they truly took good care of me. I highly recommend Ianiro Endodontics. Dr Staci and her staff were kind and responsive and knew what action had to be taken and they executed flawlessly. read more

Went in after the pain would just not stop. She was gentle, and I mean gentle. Her staff and facility made me feel comfortable. She was very easy to talk to and was hands on versus metal tools ( that really impresse me). Tested, x-rayed , tested some more and got the best news, busied tenants around teeth are swollen causing pain. No infections, No bone loss, no issues and yes there was a root missed (comon), but root canals all look good. She recommended a sleeping guard device (OTC) , and told me to come back in a couple weeks if that did not fix my issue to get that other root removed. She gave me allot of hope back, considering others had no clue as to what and why. Professional, smart, kind and gentle, can we give 6 stars? Thank you so much for helping me . read more

I had Dr. Ulrich, (I think that's her name.), who is filling in for Dr. Ianiro while she is on maternity leave, but she was just as fantastic as it sounds like Dr. Ianiro is. My great experience started out with making the appointment. The receptionist was super-nice and informative and sent me the necessary paperwork by email immediately after I made the appointment. I was able to fill out all paperwork online and submit it via their system, so no printing out or arriving early to fill out gobs of forms was necessary. When I arrived at their office, I just read and signed the consent forms on a tablet, no paper yet again. LOVE that! Laura (or Lauren, I can't remember, unfortunately), was my dental hygenist/assistant and she was super nice and cheerful. She asked for details on what I was going through and then explained to me step by step exactly what would happen, down to what tests Dr. Ulrich would be performing to see if I needed a root canal. She then took my xrays and Dr. Ulrich came in. Dr. Ulrich started doing her tests to determine the source of my pain and was very apologetic during them. I felt I was in very good hands. It was determined that I did need a root canal and I asked if I could be sedated, as a friend had been there. Unfortunately, I needed to arrive an hour early for the pill to work, but the doctor offered me the opportunity to reschedule. I said no, I was ready to get this over with and be done with the pain that had been plaguing me for 2+weeks! Dr. Ulrich assured me that she would use plenty of anesthetic to numb the site and we could take breaks if I needed them. She also said to let me know immediately if I felt any pain at any time and they would use more anesthetic. Laura offered me a blanket, which I took and which was so nice. They started the procedure, beginning with deadening my gums. All the while, Laura rubbed my shoulder while the doctor injected the anesthetic. It was so reassuring and comforting! Every piece of equipment at Ianiro Endodontics was top notch, I'd never seen most of them before, and I was impressed. Not only did it not hurt, it wasn't traumatic. I've had worse fillings. When we were done, they sent me home with Creamy Tomato soup from Central Market. Can't beat that! I hope I don't ever need another root canal, but if I do, I'm glad I will no longer have to be scared as long as the staff at Ianiro Endodontics is there. They took such good care of me! read more

I can't imagine there is anyone as pleasant, professional, or thorough as Dr. Ianiro. I was in for a lengthy procedure to repair a root canal from ten years ago (different endodontist), which also happened to be part of a bridge. It had become infected. Dr. Ianiro explained everything fully; the procedure from start to finish, how she would handle whatever she found, and all the possible causes of the infection e.g. cracked tooth, gum issue, old canal inserts too short, or even possibly a fourth canal that had never been emptied and filled. Turns out it was just that - a fourth canal in one of the roots that had never been cleaned and refilled. She showed and explained everything on the X-rays, and we got started. The shots were nearly imperceptible, and no more than was needed. The procedure was a bit more complicated than a regular root canal. Start to finish, I was there a little over two hours. About 15 minutes into the procedure I went from the usual dentist\endo nervousness to completely relaxed, watching what I could see, and listening to the explanations. Well into it, I caught myself momentarily dozing off a few times. It doesn't get any more relaxed and stress free than that. The assistant and office staff were equally pleasant and professional and the paperwork (all digital) from my dentist and my records went as smoothly as possible. Outstanding operation all around. Far and away the best experience I've ever had at a dentist or endodontist. I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else from now on. read more

Dr. Ianiro is great. I've been a couple times with a problem tooth and she will NOT preform a root canal just to do a root canal. She and her staff are super friendly and explain all the details of your teeth in an easy to understand way. Turns out the problem was from clenching my teeth in my sleep and not from tooth decay. Heaven forbid I need a root canal one day - but if I do, I'm headed back to Dr. Ianiro. read more

Not that Ianiro needs another 5-star rating, but there you have it. A perfect root canal, actually painless. Gentle, caring, professional. Everyone seemed happy to be working there. Her consultation was thorough and not rushed. She was interested in hearing my ideas about minimally invasive care. The whole office was friendly and professional. Zero waiting time. After thoroughly explaining what was going to happen, step by step, and giving me a blankie, she found the canal in question in minutes. By the way, she has a great needle technique for the numbing. Barely a pinch. Before I knew it I was on my way with a little care package of Central Market soup. Awww. Then there was the follow-up call that evening. She told me there might be soreness after. But there was none. In fact, the relief from the low-level pain of the infection was immediate. Had I known it would be like this I would have gone much sooner. But prior experience had made me skittish. The cost of root canal, never cheap, was no more than would be expected. But I don't think you could buy better care/service. If you need root canal, there's no need to drag your feet. You'll be well taken care of here. read more

I am living in Austin part-time and away from my home State thus, home dentists/doctors, etc.. I was referred to Dr. Ianiro for her to evaluate the cause of some "mystery" pain that I was experiencing. I was delighted and amazed by the exemplary service and care I received from Dr. Ianiro and her Staff. Efficient: First and foremost, her receptionist, Brandy, was kind and efficient from the first call. I was given an appointment almost immediately. Brandy sent all of the typical medical history forms to me via email and I was surprised that the forms could be filled out online versus the typical print, copy, fax routine. The forms were also simple and asked relevant questions. Welcoming/On Time: Upon arrival, I was pleasantly greeted by Brandy. The reception area is comfortable, calming, feels a bit homey complete with a fully equipped beverage station. I hardly had time to take this all in when I was whisked away by one of Dr. Ianiro's assistant who patiently listened to my sob story about my ailing tooth. She then took the necessary x-rays with little discomfort. Dr. Ianiro arrived shortly and graciously introduce herself and thanked me for filling out the pre-forms so completely. Based on the conversation, it was clear she had read them. It is my experience that most Drs. don't. Professional/Talented: Dr. Ianiro used her talent and tools to quickly discover my problem and the news was not good. She was kind yet direct in telling me that I had a problem that would require a different specialist. Dr. Ianiro could sense that I was concerned from a health and cost perspective. I do not know Austin, and Dr.Ianiro offered to do some research to help me find the best person to deal with my unique situation. Above and Beyond Caring: Dr. Ianrio called me later in the evening to check to see how I was doing. She informed me that she still had a bit more checking to do on my behalf and would be getting back to me in a day or two with solid referrals for my issue. I have never had such a great experience with any health professional. If I ever had the need for an endodontist, I would definitely go directly to Dr. Ianiro. I wish she was a generalist so that I could be a longer term patient of hers. Simply the best Dr. and support Staff ever. read more

I have had, resulting from an accident 20-some years ago, a LOT of encounters with dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, etc... This has unfortunately predisposed me to being uncomfortable with them - I do not associate trips to the dentist with good times. Dr. Ianiro has totally reversed my predispositions. She's kind, empathetic, thoughtful, and genuine. She does good work, communicates well, spends as much time as you need to explain what's happening and answer questions. I could go on and on. Another effect of her professionalism is that her staff rise to this level as well. Everybody in the office seems to care. I just wish she did general dentistry as well - the profession needs more like Dr. Ianiro. read more

I agree with every 5 Star review. She is knowledgeable, skilled and a great endodontist -

Dr. Ianiro and her staff are a Godsend! She is very pleasant and has taken terror out of going to the dentist. My dentist thought I needed a root canal. I wanted another opinion, so I went to Angie's List and went through the list given me. When I got to Dr. Ianiro, whoever answered their phone was so pleasant that I felt I had found the right place. I did. Dr. Ianiro gave me a full dental exam and luckily, I only needed a crown and not a root canal. She was thorough and methodical and I felt like I was being treated with respect. She even asked me to come back for a return visit once my crown was in place and did not charge for the return visit. She is truly a Godsend and if you need an endodontist, look no further than Dr. Ianiro and her able staff. Kudos! read more

Dr. Ianiro is amazing! I found out that I had my first cavity a few years back, and the tooth has given me issues ever since the first filling. I found out last year that I needed a root canal on the tooth, and Dr. Ianiro was highly recommended. I was surprised upon my first visit at how comfortable her office was. Her staff is very welcoming and offer you a drink while you wait. The exam/procedure rooms are also very comfortable. They offer you headphones and a blanket so that you aren't cold during your exam. After the procedure, I was sent home with a dose of OTC pain meds and a cup of soup to eat for lunch (SUCH a great touch!). I ended up having issues with the tooth again after several months (my crown was put on by a dentist that I have since stopped seeing, I'll just leave it at that). I went back to Dr. Ianiro and she put me on antibiotics and had me come back a week later for re-treatment. After the re-treatment, she called me that night (on her own time, from her cell phone) to check on me. She was even sweet enough to answer a call from me on a Saturday night and call me in a pain prescription. Normally, I think that this whole process would have been quite painful. However, she and her staff made the entire process easy and comfortable. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. I've had the misfortune of having two root canals, but there is no one else other than Dr. Ianiro who I would let give me a root canal. To say she was fantastic would only give her half credit. After my first root canal I actually joke, "that was so much more pleasant than I expected I almost wished I needed a second one". Little did I know I would get my wish. The second one was more challenging than the first and she worked it like a true professional and kept me informed and comfortable the entire time. No one wants to have a root canal. What a great experience! Prior to this year I'd never had a root canal, and when I learned I needed one in March I was very apprehensive. What a pleasant surprise - I couldn't believe how comfortable the entire procedure was! From the moment I walked in the door, my care and comfort was everyone's top priority. The office is clean and comfortable, the equipment is high tech, and I was kept informed throughout the procedure about what was being done, and asked about my comfort level. The complicated root canal was far easier than I expected, my recovery was uneventful, and I have nothing but good memories of the entire experience. I've since had a second root canal with Ianiro Endodontics and had the exact same experience. I have the highest regard for the staff and Dr. Ianiro, and recommend them highly.
