Wonderful selection of cat and dog products!! They have a nice section of cat items and lots of different brands of food. I wouldn't come here for prescription cat foods (like hills or royal canin), but for any grain free or high protein or raw foods this place is great. They have wide variety of cat freeze dried raw treats and some play toys for cats too. Lots of fun dog toys and pet beds also. I kept walking further and further back and was impressed at how much was stocked in the space. I was impressed with the selection of healthy food and treat options sold at Four Paws. They have many canned, air dried, freeze dried raw, and kibble food options including your popular brands such as, Small Batch, Green JuJu and Ziwi. They have the rolled dog food (like Red Barn) which I found out our dog trainer used as a high value training treat. They have freezers with raw and fresh food which I may use if I'm ever out of my own home prepped raw. They have lovely beef check rolls in all sizes and with various stuffing option - a dog's dream! One thing I wanted (frozen raw green tripe) wasn't carried but it was a long shot anyway! They did have it freeze dried. We been going here for years and spend 100 a month on dog food. We went into the store on 11/28/15 and spent 123.00. We bought two dog toys, brand doesn't matter because they DO NOT TAKE ANY RETURNS and didn't we didn't know that at the time because nothing is posted anywhere "ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON DOG TOYS AND NO RETURNS". The reason we had tried to return these two toys was our dog totally shredded one in 3 mins.. We have many dog toys that are years old and are still in one piece. We were hesitant on buying the toys because it appears most are made in China. Customers you may still want to shop at this place. I told Amy you need to have a BIG SIGN stating "No Returns all Sales Final"! Above the toys, or why not on your receipt "No Returns all Sales Final" Any dog toys. I left my phone number with Amy and said make sure Kerri calls me back, and sked her are you willing to lose loyal customers over this? We really do try to support local businesses, but when you're treated like this. We cannot do that anymore. I didn't get a call back from the owner(Kerri) 2 days later, to voice my concerns to her. So I decided to write this instead. I called Petsmart, they have a 60 day return policy on their toys, which by the way are the same toys they have at this place. I called back and spoke with Amy she said, "Oh that is great that they have that return policy, but we are so small we cannot take back dog toys we sell. Dogs have strong teeth and can break bones." I said, "Really"? She also stated that I could go back to the company if I wanted to. I said no you're the place selling this crap, you should take it back if it is defective. Some neighbors of ours suggested we visit Four Paws for the self-serve dog wash. $10 for all the time you need to bathe your dog? WE'RE IN! We only had to wait just over 5 minutes or so for a stall - which was cleaned and stocked before we went in. They had everything we needed! Several options for shampoos/conditioners and all-in-ones. Towels. Leads to hold your dog in the tub. Plenty of brushes. And a powerful dryer. It was fabulous! They have lots of treats, specialty foods, and toys too. We were impressed and it's absolutely worth the $10. We'll be back! read more

Awesome place to take your furry kid to get a bath. Price is good people are friendly. They have a huge selection of toys, food, treats you name it. I will always take my pups here for their baths they have all the wash brushes blower to blow water out of their hair towels all you got to do is was the pup dry it and walk away. For $10 you can take your dog into the back where they have raised tubs of various sizes and hooks to strap your dog in. I was searching for a dog wash and discovered that Four Paws offers such a facility. I was surprised, as I drive by this place daily and thought it was only a place for high-quality pet food. The dog wash is awesome. The back half of the store is separate and divided into stalls. Each stall has a ramp leading to a sitting area for a dog before it goes into a raised bathtub. This raised tub is so nice and easy on the back. They provide aprons so you don't get a bath yourself, a variety of shampoos and conditioners, towels, brushes, safety leashes, and blow dryers at each station. And if you need help with anything, the staff is available to lend a hand. After the doggies were clean we walked through the store to pay and get a treat. They have a variety of brands for cat and dog food, but definitely not ones you see at grocery, discount or big box pet stores. I scanned the area and discovered that their prices on high-quality dog food isn't at all outrageously priced, compared to prices at the big box pet stores. read more

I was looking for a great do-it-yourself dog wash in Longmont and found this little gem. There was a great selection of shampoos and it was very clean and easy-to-use. The staff was so helpful and fed my very old pooch dog treats to make her comfortable during her wash. The attached pet store has tons of choices of foods, treats, toys, collars, you name it. It is also open late - 7 p.m. (M-Thursday), which is much later than most places I can find. I'm so glad I found Four Paws. I'll be back soon. read more

I use Four Paws primarily for the self wash. I use Four Paws in conjunction with Paws to Groom over on the west side of Longmont. Four Paws is closed Sunday but open Monday. Paws to Groom is open Sunday but closed Monday. For some reason I end up washing dogs a lot on Sundays and Mondays so between the two they have me covered. On a day when both were open if I had the time I would probably drive over to Paws to Groom because the atmosphere is so fun, because of the grooming table and because Paws to Groom is $2 cheaper. But on the other hand Four Paws does have more choices of shampoo and in these days of COVID Four Paws gives you more space away from anyone else, a whole bay to yourself. Also when I came in with a dog who had been very sick and was very weak the owner there showed me great kindness in helping me get him in the tub. Both places are great. read more

I Came in looking for socks for my allergen ridden dog to give his feet some relief, after asking the woman working if they had any she referred us to a different store in Loveland. My fiancé and I decided to look around instead of leaving right away. My fiancé picked up a collar to show me how similar it was to the one my dog was already wearing and then put it back on the stand, after moving around the store I noticed the woman was following us through the store as though we were suspicious people so I decided to leave and as I went to exit the store the woman walked up and asked if the collar on my dog was unpaid for merchandise. I proceeded to show her the custom engraving on my dogs collar before she said "we're good" and let us out of the store. read more

Very disappointed in the owner of this store. I bought some food that was recommended to me in the hopes that I could get my cat to eat and gain a little bit of weight; before completing the purchase I was also told that I could bring the food back for a return if I could not get him to eat it, regardless of the reason and situation. I ended up having to put him down within 1 week of the purchase due to him losing over 1/3rd of his body weight to cancer. I went to return the food and the owner would not allow me to return the food "because I put my animal down". In this case, what was I supposed to do? Let him suffer? She was extremely unkind about the entire situation and left me to leave the store in tears. This business has permanently lost me as a customer as well as several people who I have recommended to this location. I have helped support this store for several years and am appalled at the treatment I received. read more

Overall a nice enough place, but there was one thing I couldn't get over. The first time I came, it was to give my dog a wash, and that part of the store was pretty nicely done, just various stalls with cleaning equipment and bathing stalls. Then, as I started to learn more about dog nutrition (and after I got a dog who had been severely malnourished during a 3 month stay at Adams County pound), I decided to come by and try a few of the dog food varieties. They had a pretty good selection (you can expect to spend about $2/can of dog food), as well as some other cool goodies for my dogs and cat. They have a card which gives you a punch for every $10 dollars you spend at a time, and after $100 you get $10 free. I spent $59.16 there, and my disappointment came when they punched out 5 instead of 6 on my card. It just felt like cheating to me. They could have even suggested I buy one of the treats at the check out (I was already kind of considering it) but they just handed me back my $59.16 receipt and $50 punched out card like there was nothing wrong, though I was mere cents away from another punch. It's just one of those petty cheats that can really irk a person. There are some awesome pet food places around, so I haven't been back since. read more

Brought my boy, Ricky in for the Dog Wash (1st time for both of us) and it was really nice. They have ramps that lead up to the wash areas and your dog (if he is willing, which Ricky was not) can walk up to his bath. I had to pick up the little bugger but oh well. Got him in the tub & strapped in and used the soap & conditioner with no problems. Moved him to the drying area and got him toweled off and brushed & he looks very handsome. Place was clean and we didn't have to wait. Friendly staff-what more can you ask? We will be back! read more

I found the staff member that I spoke with to be very RUDE!! They do have a nice variety of food. However, they do not know about the places they are buying the food from. For instance, I went to another store in Longmont(Blue Hills) and they told me that the food I was buying had a very bad dog plant and that that food was making dogs sick. I looked it up online and sure enough it was true. My dogs were actually experiencing the symptoms they mentioned. Four Paws still carries this food. I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

If your dog tolerates baths, they have great self-serve dog tubs in the back of the store, each one with a fixed-in-place rubber covered ramp for easy dog access. What a great pet supply store! For about the same price as the "good" brands of dogfood at Petco and PetsMart you can buy foods that are truly good for your dog that do not contain corn and rendered animal parts that are not fit for consumption by any living creature much less one you want to be healthy. For example last week I bought a bag of "Taste of the Wild" which is made of roasted buffalo and venison along with a blend of healthy vitamin rich fruits and vegetables. This completely grain free food is more like what a dog would actually eat in the wild. The brand I used before that was "Holistic Health" which is also fantastic. Really there is not a food brand they carry that is not good for your dog and the staff is friendly (and actually remembers you and your dog every time you come in) and is great at helping you select a food both you and your dog will be happy with. They also have a great selection of "good for your dog" treats and toys that are priced as low as the big stores. I'm happy we found this store and I highly recommend it. read more

We had been a regular customer here for years buying our dog food from them. Once I decided to buy a toy - a $16 toy! Since my dog likes to rip apart stuffed toys I thought this one would be tough since it was advertised as such. When I got home I gave the toy to my little dog who ripped it apart in 2 minutes. I took it away from her since I did not want her swallowing the yarn. When I tried to return it, the owner refused to exchange it and would not let me return it for a refund. Four Paws carries great products and for the most part the prices are pretty on par with other small high quality product pet stores which is why I'm willing to give them 3 stars. However, their customer service has caused me to go elsewhere. I had been a regular customer for my cat with no issues other than feeling a bit judged/nagged when I was just browsing. I later adopted a dog who based on appearance looks like she's part pit bull. I brought her in to Four Paws with me and was asking for advice on bones/chews and the employee made a comment about "THAT breed" in an judgmental and rude tone.
