Staff is super friendly and, most importantly, caring. Our pup got neutered and the vet was patient answering all our questions and concerns. After surgery went great, thanks Founders.

I am upgrading my previous post because I realize that the groomer - as I see it - is a separate entity. If you read my previous review I went on about not taking my dog to the groomer. It had nothing to do with the vets or the front desk. Thank you.

For as long as I have pets I will only ever take them to this clinic and to these vets. My Labrador was a bit unusual as he was very aggressive when it came to doctors. But the staff here always knew how to handle him and respected his boundaries for the past 11 years. They were always honest with us and when we found the giant mass in his body, we knew we didn't want to see him suffering. I want to thank the staff and the doctor for being so kind to my Link and for being so compassionate with us when we put him down. They created a very warm and comfortable setting for my old boy. And I will always appreciate how they comforted my brothers and I after Link had passed. You have made us your loyal customers forever

I was so excited to learn about Founders. I feed my cats a raw food diet and most veterinarians are not educated in this practice. Most visits to the vet end with a lecture about bacteria which is especially annoying from a professionals who should have a better understanding of the feline digestion system. Anyway, I called to make an appointment for my kitten Gex. I was really worried about my her and the receptionist helped me feel better. I didn't want to rush her to the vet but I also didn't want to be careless and put her health in jeopardy by waiting. She didn't give me any medical advice over the phone but she helped me assess the situation by discussing her behavior (eating, playing, restroom, etc) and the progression of the illness. She also recommended a emergency vet to use in case the situation got worse before the appointment. The actual visit was just as wonderful. I was slightly disappointed the we had to wait for 15 minutes but I can understand that they could behind schedule. When we finally got in the exam room, I was pleased that the nurse didn't get start man-handling my cat, she asked me to bring Gex out if the cage and then conducted the general stuff like weight & temperature while I held Gex. This was an amazing experience... my cats are usually traumatized after a trip to the vet. They are not used to being grabbing and squeezed by anyone, let alone a stranger who smells like a bunch of other animals. I was so grateful with the respectful approach from the nurse and veterinarian. The visit cost $79 and but it was worth it. They prescribed minimal treatments and Gex and called a week later to see how she was doing! At that point I made a wellness appointment for my other cat, who hasn't had a check up in years!

    Before and after...dont judge!

Very unprofessional. She lets her personal opinions dictate her practice and made unfounded claims on my dogs records.

You can take each 6 week, Saturday morning class for around $100. Or you can sign up for her club and come anytime to any class unlimited for a year for $400. I signed up for the unlimited. Its a great deal for unlimited classes. It's a treat based training system, which works great for food. She teaches "faking the dog out" in order to get them off the treats, but honestly this hasn't worked for me. My dog is much too smart for that. But It Seems To Work for Other dogs. It takes a lot of work to train your dog. She lists a lot on what she'll teach in each class, but I don't feel she covers everything. You really do need to ask if you need something specific. It'd be great if she offered classes not always Saturday morning too, I understand it, but it's limiting. I also think it'd be pretty cool if she taught thing like putting away toys. :D useful My dog has learned some things, I personally have learned more! It really is a great opportunity, but you have to follow through at home. It's not easy. Compared to petsmart, this is more bang for your buck and teaches you more. It's more up and close and Cindy is the sweetest! This is my experience-go try out a first class for free and you decide!

As he settled in my home, he became increasingly aggressive towards other people -- friends, family, and strangers alike, whether in the home or outside of the home. Sully was even aggressive towards my husband, and it felt like I was at a loss. I needed to do something before he actually ended up hurting someone. After explaining what was happening with Sully with the organization I was fostering from, they said they would need to put him down for the safety of the community. I couldn't let that happen, so I decided to keep him and find professional help. This is where John came in. After doing research online, I came across his Yelp page, where there were raving reviews of him helping aggressive dogs, so I took a chance. On his first day meeting John, Sully growled, hissed, and lunged at John. Sully tried to bite both him and me. John spent about an hour with me explaining what was going to happen and some training basics, and honestly, it was hard for me to focus because I was so nervous of Sully hurting someone in the moment. John was very patient, and showed me 5x how to hold a leash properly because I just couldn't focus from nervousness. I've never seen Sully so aggressive, and John explained it's because it was the first time someone was checking him and keeping him in his place. Sully stayed with John for a little over two weeks, and in that time, they went on ADVENTURES. I mentioned to John that Sully was afraid of water, aggressive with strangers, and other very specific things, and John made sure to tackle all of them. He sent me pictures and videos of his adventures throughout their time together. They went on a ferry, hiked to a waterfall, and so so much more. When there was a concern or something to celebrate, John was sure to communicate with us what was going on. In addition, due to personal circumstances, we needed to have Sully stay with John a few more days, and John was so understanding and accommodated us. I finally have my sweet boy back, and I see so much of a difference. He is calmer, more responsive, and he's running through my sprinklers now. LOL. It still takes him a bit to warm up to other people, but he's not as on guard or on edge as he was before. I'm excited to continue his progress at home, and I'm sure we will see John and Sara for future stays! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of his adventures with John and Sara. :)

I soon learned that I could do whatever I wanted to do and I could make all the rules in household. I could nip at my owners ankles, hands, arms and whatever I could get close to. Sometimes I even drew blood. I thought this was fun. I barked whenever I wanted to, which was most of the time. If the door opened I would run outside and not come back even if I was called, it was great fun. My owners decided to send me to Stephanie for boot camp training. I was only 14 weeks old and didn't really want to go. Even though I was totally in charge of my household I agreed with my owners to spend two weeks with Stephanie. The first thing I learned was to only bark when it was really important. I learned to sit, stay, and heel. I learned how to walk on a leash in public without jumping on people, barking at people, or snapping and barking at other dogs. It turned out that Stephanie was really cool. She never yelled at me or hit me. Instead when I did something right she would love on me and pet me and tell me what a good girl I am. While I thought I would miss my owners being away for two weeks from home, the two weeks went really fast. When they came to pick me up I was really proud To show them everything that I learned. The couple of weeks later Stephanie came to my owners home to teach me "perimeter training". Of course I learned this really fast given the fact that I am now a smart girl with a college education. I would give Stephanie a five star rating. She is the best. I would like to go back and see her again and maybe even stay some time with her but I seem to know everything there is to know already. My owners call me the best dog ever! My owners just bought another Labradoodle. His name is Tucker and he's a big brute but he is only nine months old. It honestly brought back the feeling of being a first-time parent--questioning every decision, but without a nurse hotline for guidance. My husband and I were especially struggling with how to manage Chloe around our young kids. She was very unruly, reactive on walks, and difficult to control around other dogs. We found SoCal Dog Training through a friend's referral, and choosing Vladae ended up being one of the best decisions we've made. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first--so many trainers promise results--but Vladae truly delivers. The onboarding process was seamless. The initial FaceTime consultation helped set clear expectations, and I really appreciated how upfront and honest he was about the work required. What stood out most to me was his long-term commitment--knowing I could always come back for refreshers gave me a lot of confidence that I wasn't just getting a short-term fix. The training sessions are where the transformation really happens. After each session, it genuinely felt like we had a new dog--but that's also where the responsibility comes in. You have to consistently follow through with the exercises he gives you. In many ways, it reminded me that investing in my dog's future takes the same consistency and commitment as investing in my two kids. She's now quite literally my third kid. Chloe used to be extremely reactive--barking, pulling on the leash, and even jumping up on our toddlers. Vladae helped me understand the root of her behavior and showed me how to properly address it. Now she's calm, more confident, and walking her has become something I actually enjoy. Seeing that transformation has been incredibly rewarding. It wasn't an easy process, but it was absolutely worth it. Also, a special shout-out to Antonina for being so kind, responsive, and accommodating with scheduling.
