Dr Lee and his team are the best. They are all very nice, super attentive and gentle with the animals (and pet parents too). They return phone calls promptly and get test results back quickly. We can also attest Dr Lee is great with international travel certificates. We fostered a friends cat to get him prepared for a move to Japan. My dog was showing unusual symptoms, so I took videos of the symptom and brought our 15 year old dog in to be seen by Dr. Lee on Friday 7/31. Upon gross physical examination and watching the videos, Dr. Lee suggested that our dog is most likely going through very bad allergies. Few days later after the visit, I had to take my dog to an emergency due to continuation of the unusual symptoms. Our dog is currently under cluster seizure treatment. We were told by the emergency team that our dog's cluster seizure symptoms are atypical but are indeed seizure activities. Seizures are highly time-sensitive and potentially life-threatening emergency that could cause permanent brain damage and/or reduced lifespan if treatment gets delayed. My family are very sad that Dr. Lee was not able to catch and diagnose a seizure. read more

Despite a loss of our beloved bunny Mimoy, the people at the emergency were very compassionate and carrying Mimoy pass peacefully, in the hands of my best buddy and mine. He was a Neterland Lion Dwarf. He passed due to complication post our fire in the Lincoln Appartmdnts. There is no actual reason how the fire started. Mimoy got left behind together with Trixy Americam Chinchilla Lion Head . They bot got left behind because. They were hiding and we had to leave due to smoke. Bangelina I s bit older so she was I believe understanding what's happening and we got her on time. The fireman found them both later alive. I had to leave because I wA in danger passing due to amount o c fire and smoke. My best buddy saved me in the last minute, he was looking for me as I was looking for our Bunnies. Thank you Rommel for saving my life. Mimoy was 8 years old. Trixy is 4 years old and Bangelina the Anerican Chinchilla is 2 years old. These bunnies are my emotional support. I can't live without my bunnies. Thankfully they were hiding pretty well, but because Mimoy had preexisting Nasal issues he could not recover. Thank you all the people in Dr emergency Department Pet Clinic to make Mimoy very comfortable on his passing. Wow I'm so glad I brought my daughters puppy here. He has extreme anxiety. He had some trauma at another vet here in Fullerton. First let me say the person who answered the phone was extremely helpful wonderful customer service! Upon arrival I was seen right away! My daughter doggy had a ruptured anal gland and the doctor explained everything in detail answering all of our concerns. Very Caring and like I mentioned very informative. We were given a breakdown of everything and anslee was so sweet. Our doggy was definitely in good hands!! I wish I've gotten all the lady's names here because they were all very very sweet! From his support staff, to his equipment, everything just feels right. Beware!! I gave this vet a shot but I'm now very disheartened by our experience. He was rude and impatient from the start, rushing out of the room and cutting us off mid-sentence saying he needed to get to other patients despite not fully answering our questions. We went along with his treatment despite this, but our cat did not heal. We called back to try to see what else could be done. We were always kind and respectful, just wanted to ask questions because our cat continued to vomit and have a horrific rash despite his treatment plan. Megan was the only person whom I can recommend- she was so kind and helpful and supportive. Dr. Lee however, has no interest in being patient or kind. He yelled at my partner on the phone and then sent us a letter of termination the second I paid for the new meds. Meanwhile our cat is still in acute distress. I'm sure he will follow up here with some long response as to how it's our fault.... typical DARVO techniques used by narcissists. Spare yourself and go elsewhere. This doc likes to rush you, get mad at your questions, and shove you out the door when he gets mad at having to do his job. read more

Dr. Lee and his staff saved my dear friend, a senior cat named Waffles. Waffles began vomiting repeatedly (7x) one Saturday afternoon. Waffles, my wife, and I were seen by Dr. Lee on same day's notice by nighttime. Dr. Lee suspected Waffles had a urinary tract blockage--a medical emergency--and drained his bladder. Waffles was diagnosed with renal failure/chronic kidney disease (CKD) and high blood pressure. As a result, he was hospitalized at the clinic for three nights. As I work from home, the clinic was gracious enough to let me visit during Waffles' stay. During each of my visits, Dr. Lee opened up a spare room so I could sit next to Waffles for an hour+, trying to coax him onto K/D wet food. During this time, the clinic also emailed me literature about CKD and administration of subcutaneous fluids (to help cats stay hydrated for conditions including CKD). After I brought Waffles home, Fullerton Pet Clinic called nearly every day to check in on him until his following appointment. At that appointment, Waffles' bloodwork turned much-improved results, including creatinine and SDMA values, trending in the right direction. We know this is a lifelong battle, but we wouldn't be in this position in the first place without Dr. Lee & co. Throughout this whole process, I appreciated the thoroughness with which Dr. Lee explained the course of treatment, any alternatives, and associated costs, which I believe are more than reasonable for the services received. But most importantly, what keeps me coming back is the passion and care Dr. Lee has for his animal patients. His ethos and compassion extends to his staff. Thank you all very much. read more

Took a dog that I found to the clinic to be scanned. They gave us the chip # and said that we would need to contact animal control or a rescue. It was 85 degrees and the dog was panting so we asked for some water for the dog. While the tech went in the back to get a bowl of water, my daughter called animal control to see if they could give us direction. Animal control looked up the chip number we had been provided and said that the vet office should told us the manufacturer, which they had not. The tech set down the water but moments later came out and said that the vet wasn't comfortable with the leashed dog (yorkie/shitsu mix) being in the lobby because it might bite someone or start a dog fight. There had not been a single other dog in the lobby since we arrived. The receptionist had even spent time petting the well tempered dog. This office has only been in business for a few months so while waiting while they were scanning the dog, I asked information on their pricing, as they are much closer to home than my current vet and I was genuinely interested in finding a new vet and was very appreciative of the scan. But given the vet's attitude towards a dog that was well groomed and behaved, I will not be bringing any of my 3 dogs or 1 cat there for care! read more

A few weeks ago I saw a new vet clinic by the Dollar Tree on Chapman and State College. Didn't think much of it at the time. Then my Sophie got a gray patch on her eye. Took her to our regular vet which happens to be a VERY popular vet clinic in YL. Long story short, the vet misdiagnosed the gray patch as a lipid. Didn't even prescribe anything, not even drops. She said there was nothing to do. One week later Sophie's eye was very oozy with yellow goop. Decided to take her to the new vet clinic- Fullerton Pet Clinic. Dr. Lee did three tests and determined it was not a lipid. It was calcium that then ruptured and turned into an ulcer. It was very bad and he warned us that there was a chance she could go blind. She was immediately put on six medications including three to be applied in the eye. One was a serum made from her own blood. Well luckily after three weeks her eye is now 99% healed. Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable and treated her with gentleness and kindness. I was expecting the vet bill to be in the thousands (it usually was with the previous vet) but I was pleasantly surprised that it was very reasonable considering the extent of the treatment and medicines. If you're looking for a new vet, I highly recommend Fullerton Pet Clinic. read more

Fullerton Pet Clinic is a breath of fresh air. I took my puppy in for a spay surgery. Dr. Lee and his staff are highly professional, competent, and compassionate. Scheduling has always been smooth and efficient. Dr. Lee would really look into your pet's records, listen to your concerns, and communicate in a clear manner. Post surgery instructions are clear as well and they called me the next day to follow up. I experienced some predatory vets previously that wanted to upsell you like greedy mechanics, especially in the OC area, while Dr. Lee's pricing is very reasonable and transparent. I got a list of breakdowns that's only essential to my puppy's surgery and that's exactly what I paid for. In addition, the clinic is bright airy, their equipment looks shiny and sanitary. A few weeks ago, our cat experienced a medical emergency. Thanks to Dr. Lee and his staff, our cat was taken in the same day for treatment and was diligently cared for for weeks until he was able to make a full recovery. Dr. Lee went above and beyond to call us with updates and even emailed us research articles on the condition of our cat so we can educate ourselves. The clinic was always so accommodating with our needs. The prices were fair and Dr. Lee made it a point to explain the need for the treatments in great detail and never pushed for unnecessary treatments. He also took the time to go over the test results and addressed any questions and concerns we had. His calm demeanor definitely helped eased our worries about our baby. My dog Panda suddenly started itching so badly that it led to a skin infection. I called our regular vet, but they were fully booked. A friend recommended this clinic, and thankfully, they were able to see us the same day. The clinic is very clean, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Dr. Lee examined Panda and diagnosed a skin allergy and infection. He took the time to explain everything clearly, including the treatment plan. The assistant also went over the pricing thoroughly before anything was done, which I really appreciated. I found the cost to be very reasonable for the quality of service and care Panda received. I highly recommend this clinic, and I've decided to make it my primary veterinarian from now on. read more

I took my dog to get her vaccines and to talk to the vet for a dental consult. Dr. Lee answered all of my many questions with care and detail. He and his techs were very transparent with the estimate costs of treatment, and my dog was given her vaccines and ready to go in just a few minutes. I called about 2-3 weeks ago for my first time to get pricing and schedule a cleaning for 2 of my dogs. When I called I spoke to Dr Lee, he scheduled for Thursday May 29th at 10:30, the Dr didn't give any pre procedure instructions only gave me pricing. When I showed up the day of the schedule appointment, Cassidy said they didn't have any cleanings that day I mentioned a Dr Lee scheduled. They also stated they do procedures at 8:30am not 10:30 and they were quoting me $100 more than what Dr Lee told me, and since I was unaware my dogs did have water and food early that morning. The doctor came out and apologized for the "misunderstanding" in my opinion that wasn't a misunderstanding that was you not knowing what you're doing when you scheduled a patient on a day procedure isn't done and the time was also incorrect. I said okay, so when can I bring them back, he stated Monday June 2nd at 8:30, perfect. I dropped them off at 8:30 this morning. When I dropped off Cassidy put me in a room and asked for me to sign documents (first time I was there last Thursday she gave me a paper copy to fill out) so I figured I was waiting for another paper copy, she leaves the room comes back 5 mins later and asks if I'm done I said "you haven't gave me anything" she said oh it's on the computer, I told her that she didn't say that and she just walked away. Dr Lee mentioned pickup would be around 1:30pm well Cassidy stated it'd be around 3:30-4 I asked which one was it since I was told 2 different times. She seemed bothered I was asking questions, if it bothers you that much maybe she should find another job she actually enjoys. If you're keeping my dogs there for about 8 hours best believe I'm going to ask questions. When I dropped off this morning there was no issues I asked Cassidy what her name was (prior to knowing) so I can address her when and if I called with questions, Dr Lee did call once both procedures were done and updated me with me picking up between 4:30-5 now. It was 3:50pm I was in the area so I called 3 times, no one answered the 4th time it would just go to a voicemail, so I decided to walk in again since both of my dogs are at this facility and I'm worried as a dog mom. When i walked in no one was at the front desk they took about 5 mins to come out even though when the door is open it says "front door" Joaquin comes out, he was great no complaints when it comes to him. Cassidy comes back and gives me the total i ask if I can see a print out before paying she printed a copy, keep in mind when Dr Lee called to give me an update at around 1pm he said he would be extracting 11 tooth from one of my dogs, the invoice Cassidy gave me showed 8. I questioned this and she said "give me one second let me go ask the Dr" Great, now Dr Lee comes out I asked him the same question as I'm confused since the front desk is telling me one thing and the doctor told me another on the phone, he stated he didn't charge me for the other 3 teeth that were pulled. Great, thank you for clarifying. I then asked the doctor if there's a reason why the calls aren't going through as I tried to call several times and it's not even ringing anymore. He said they're working on the line. That sounds bogus to me especially if you have customers pets in the establishment during business hours that should be done at a different time/day. Dr proceeds to tell me that I'm giving his staff (CASSIDY) a hard time and it'll be better if i look elsewhere for any other services my dogs will need, I told him that's no problem at all I was not planning on going back since from beginning to end it was a headache coming here. If simple questions bother someone who works in a customer service field then maybe it's time to look for a job elsewhere, didn't know me asking questions about MY pets would be such an issue, again I was not planning on coming here again. Cassidy does not smile ,she seems very stuck up and seems like she hates her job. UPDATE - Dr Lee is now harassing & threatening me through email, below will be attached the email he sent me 3 days ago. Noticed my cat showing UTI symptoms and made an appointment the next day for this clinic. Had the possibility of being late and called to let them know, had no issues and felt very comfortable from the start. We showed up and were placed in a freshly cleaned room ASAP, signed papers that stated the starting price of different appointments which was very nice to know from the start. Was evaluated by the nurse with patience and care. Then met the doctor who was very considerate, explained everything very well, and when I asked about how much everything would be we got to pre approve what would be done while knowing exactly the individual and total cost. Ended up unable to do a urinalysis because my cats bladder was pretty empty which was when the doctor gave us the option of coming back in the next day or just going ahead with antibiotics if I felt comfortable. Every step of this scary and stressful process was made easy and cost friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back for all of my pets needs. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will attempt to charge you for additional items beyond what you you need and are not upfront first about costs. An appointment is 55$ just to acknowledge that your pet is sick. Need more medication or to refill a perscription? nope, you need to pay first, doesn't matter (if this isn't the case they failed at basic communication as i explain later so the customer has no idea). There are 2 Banfield locations in Fullerton and several other pat care facilities that are available, this is the worst pet care location i have ever been to. You may be told they are "sorry" for how things are, no worries, sorry you have few customers and getting fewer. Other vet offices will treat you better, i gurentee it as this place sets the bar beyond low in customer service. I asked simple questions and was ignored and received no answers, so add rude to the list. I left very upset based on their customer service and treatment of me and just getting BASIC information. There will likely be denial from owner or some deflection. Best i can do is warn others. Seek pet care from a place that does care. Cares for customers and pets and provides basic yes/no answers, ownes up for their actions. So far based on my experience and apparently a few others (they may be trying to remove negative posts) it appears this location won't last more then a few years but thats their problem. Do not take your pet here. The expectations are not high to meet. There is no confusion, just disappointment unfortunently. Communication was not respectful towards me/customer. I encourage them to do better on the basics and have better professionalism towards any future customers they may happen to achieve. I would like to have a positive and professional enviroment as that is important to me but not found here unfortunently. I wanted to know if i would be charged for every visit and how much and instead of being told yes or no etc i was slapped with "we felt it was in everyone's best interest to end the veterinarian-client-patient relationship." Do i need to pay for a refill everytime yes/no? it's not hard and they rather get rid of you then deal with that. seriously? This location did not provide high-quality care or compassion. I'm not upset about making a payment. The basics of transactional processes was failed and then disrespect given to a client leading to them/me being upset, if you are rude to a customer instead of respectful how do you expect them to react hmmm??? I believe it is in the best unfortunently to go somewhere better even if its 1/2 a mile further in order to get basics met of "how much and when would i pay and for what". I would hope they would take this seriously but actions serve better then silvered words attempting to be platitudes. They need to have polite and professional communication with their customers, otherwise they will become upset at the rudeness they are given. I just wanted to know when and how much i would have to pay. dude. -_- Not trying to avoid payments or anything else, just wanted to get my dog medicine and information. oh wait that too, they also told me i wouldn't need to bring my dog in on one phone call and then when i visited i was told the opposite. way to drop the ball :/ Unfortunently again this will be likely deflected or denied instead of an apology followed up by actions supporting that apology for proper conflict resolution. The woman working the front end was mostly professional and just trying to do her job. This reflects not on her but the impoliteness from the back. She did however keep saying sorry without helping me. I just needed basic cost information for my visit so i could plan ANOTHER visit and how much i'd have to pay. I could be contacted later as the doctor was busy and given the information then. That would have been totally fine as a deflection and issue resolution but instead im told sorry and now we're just staring at each other uncomfortably. Or at least i was made to feel that way here on my visit. Example: do i need to place an apt every time to get antibiotics or is there a refill plan to avoid the apt fee, and if not what will my costs be? "We do not have that option, this is how much it will cost" or "we have that option and this is how much it will cost." Again, not hard but instead respectful communication was not provided, i take respect and disrespect seriously, let alone basic communication as i still don't know which proves my point unfortunently. This is my opinion based on my unfortunante experience. My pet will receive proper care from somewhere else. This is my honest review, all information i have provided is based on what happened, any cost information that is what i was aware of, any incorrect information for exact costs is as i previously described not properly informed of.
