New clients for this amazing vet
Krishna C.

Excellent experience. The vet was incredibly caring and took me in right away for a last-minute emergency after my cat vomited blood. He calmly guided me through everything and made sure I understood the situation. Before I left, he even gave me his personal phone number in case my cat vomited blood again, which truly showed how much he cares. I usually go to another clinic in Newport, but I'll definitely be returning here for both of my cats. Very grateful for the care and service.

We've brought both of our dogs here. Our Doberman had a huge mass tumor that had developed, while other vets were not able to help much with the procedure, Dr Cruz was able to. I could not thank him enough. We've also brought in our mom's puppy for vaccines. Dr. Cruz was very kind, patient, and took the time to really explain everything clearly. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and want the best for them. The staff was also friendly and the whole visit felt very welcoming and professional. I left feeling reassured and confident about my pet's care. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cruz to anyone looking for a vet who is compassionate and knowledgeable. It's always been great experience with Dr. Cruz at Jets Pet Hospital !

I was in a really desperate situation when my dog needed emergency surgery for pyometra. I called vet after vet, and the cost was so overwhelming that I honestly felt like giving up. When I called Jet's Pet Hospital, everything changed. They took the time to understand my situation and worked with me to come up with a price that was reasonable and manageable. From start to finish, their attention to detail and level of care during my dog's surgery was truly amazing. Thanks to them, my dog was given a chance, and I'm incredibly grateful. I highly recommend Jet's Pet Hospital to anyone who truly cares about their pet's well-being.

Dr. Cruz was absolutely amazing from start to finish! My cat needed urgent surgery on very short notice, and he was just a quick text away. He even took time from his family to make sure my cat got the care she needed. His genuine concern and compassion truly stood out. Thanks to Dr. Cruz and his team, we were able to come in the very next morning for surgery, and everything went perfectly. He successfully removed the entire pyometra without any complications, and my cat has been recovering beautifully at home. She's healthy, active, and back to her normal self and less feisty! We have a 2-week post-op visit soon to remove her sutures, and even though we're driving all the way from DTLA to Fullerton, it's 100% worth it for the care and kindness they provide. Dr. Cruz and his staff are incredible, I can't recommend them enough!

Juniper!

We used to have a vet close to us that we loved. He got us through a couple of our dogs. He eventually retired but we still went to that clinic out of habit. We didn't like the direction the clinic went. Our little girl, Juniper was having issues and we decided to bring her to Jet's. Just walking and the feel of the clinic reminded me of how we felt with our old vet. The staff and the vet were awesome, straight forward, and I felt they genuinely cared. Juniper needed surgery to remove a stone from her bladder. The vet conferred with us himself and gave us the cost. What a breath of fresh air. Taking care of our pets is stressful enough. It was nice to deal with caring, honest people. We have found a new home for our dog's care!

First off, Thank you Dr Cruz. We had noticed a loss of appetite on my 5 year old Doberman a couple weeks back. Originally believed she had upset her tummy, her sister had done so previously and been okay switching over to a special diet. Got her checked at our normal Vet, blood was good, got X rays done to be safe, nothing found then. She didn't regain appetite, they hydrated her, and recommended an ultrasound. The ultrasound was then done at VCA emergency care and revealed a foreign object found in her intestinal tract that couldn't be passed. The quote was on the higher end for the surgery to be done there and have her stay in the 24hour facility for the following two days. My partner not entirely comfortable with the thought of our little one being away from us looked for potential options near by. A family member in our group chat had recently visited this Veterinary Hospital and had recommended it to a friend as well, both had positive experiences. We phoned in to see if there was any way we could have our Doberman in for an emergency surgery, note it was around 1pm in the afternoon on a Friday. Dr Cruz spoke with us over the phone, he quoted a price we were able to cover for the surgery, and took us just hours after the call. We traveled from the emergency facility at VCA fountain valley and arrived at Jets Pet Hospital in Fullerton shortly after our call, once checked in Dr Cruz identified me and my pup in the waiting room brought us back and explained to me what was going to happen. I admit I was nervous at the time, as the Hospital operating hours were almost up for the day and didn't want to think they would be rushing to get out of there while operating on my beloved Doberman. Dr Cruz and his team stayed well past stated closing hours of the business, took exceptional care of my pup while with them, provided us with a nutritional plan to help her recover from surgery safely and was in direct contact with us during her recovery, texting us to check in on her and see how her appetite was, and her stool since she hadn't been eating, bowel movements had stopped for a few days but soon returned to normal as she recovered. Thank You Dr Cruz! And thank you Jets Pet Hospital!!!

Larry @ the vet when I literally thought he was going to die.

Dr. Cruz and the team at Jet's Pet Hospital are nothing short of miracle workers. I brought my cat Larry in when he was on the brink. He had zero energy, was not eating, was severely dehydrated, and in kidney failure. I was preparing for the worst. Dr. Cruz did exploratory surgery once he was stable, and discovered an intestinal blockage from something he'd swallowed and took action right away. Larry literally came back to life under his care. The entire staff treated us well from the moment we walked in. They were kind, calm, and clearly passionate about what they do. Dr. Cruz isn't just a vet; he's a life-saver. His compassion is obvious in everything he does, and I'll never stop being grateful for finding him when we needed him most. If you're looking for someone who leads with heart and heals with skill, Dr. Cruz is your person. I trust him with my whole heart (and Larry's nine lives).

Great successful surgery

Dr. Cruz provided great price, service, and care for my pet Macy who had to get her eye Enucleazied. I was really worried as I had to figure out how to provide the care my cat needed but Dr. Cruz was able to provide the help she needed at a price I was able to afford. I would highly recommend anyone else who needs services for their loved ones to reach out!

Dr.cruz has been absolutely amazing from the start. He's been a sweetheart not only toward the animals but great at easing my anxiety's when it comes to my fur baby. He's really amazing & truly cares about your animals health and doing his best to ensure they get the care they need at the right price. The whole team is absolutely amazing , would 1000000% recommend. The team has been able to help me save probably over a grand , beating quotes out the water & still provided top notch care.

This is Brooke before surgery
Chris D.

My little dog Brooke was suffering from a severely abscessed tooth, and the cost of surgery at most places was more than I could afford. I reached out to a vet referral service, and they connected me with Jet's Pet Hospital in Fullerton. I spoke with Dr. Cruz, shared my story, and he kindly asked me, "What can you afford?" That question alone gave me so much hope. He told me, "I can help you and Brookie," -- and he absolutely did. Dr. Cruz not only removed the abscessed tooth, but also several other bad teeth, plus a mass I didn't even know Brooke had. He was incredibly thorough, professional, and -- most importantly -- compassionate. He treated my dog with so much care and treated me with kindness and understanding. It's hard to find veterinary care that feels both personal and affordable, but Jet's Pet Hospital is exactly that. I'm so grateful to Dr. Cruz and his team for going above and beyond. If your pet is in need and you want a vet who truly cares, I highly recommend Jet's Pet Hospital and Dr. Cruz. Jet's Pet Hospital 800 E Commonwealth Ave Fullerton, CA 92831 (714) 449-9390 Thank you again, Dr. Cruz. You helped my dog -- and my heart.

Dr. Carillo caught my cat's early stages of HCM through an x-ray when he came in for constipation! I have noticed some staff changes recently, and I might be biased since I LOVED her old front desk people, they were quite nice. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Dr. Carillo and how she remembered my cat, Soup. Pros: thorough, flexible, and quick with insurance. Cons: a bit pricy, but to be honest, you get what you pay for. I understand that not everyone can afford payments, but I believe they are willing to work with you.

Our new puppy was pooping blood and we were very concerned about that. We wanted to get her in right away. Thankfully, this veterinary hospital had an appointment. The veterinarian was great. Very thorough with explaining testing and treatment. They ran bloodwork and requested a stool sample. We got some prescription probiotics for her to take with food. The bloodwork came back good. Just waiting on the stool sample results. In the meantime, the prebiotic and probiotic powder is helping. This is a very good veterinary clinic. They were super professional and seem to be very knowledgeable about canine health.

Starting with our two cats, Loki and Minerva, at first and then seeing our new additions of a new kitten and a husky puppy in the next couple of years. The entire staff is amazing. My dog, Meatball, gets extremely stressed and can be difficult during visits but the staff handles her with so much patience and compassion. They never make me feel bad and always make sure she is as comfortable as possible. Dr. Lee has done dental work on both Loki and Minerva and was incredibly thorough. Dr. Tomko is also very knowledgeable and confident, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. And the vet techs, they are the heart of the place!!! From when you first walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a welcome. It really makes you at peace. They are also knowledgeable and is the first person of the building that makes you pet feel comfortable before the vet comes see you. As you get checked out, they answer any questions and assist you. I have also called the office many times about questions and they were always so quick to get answers. What really sets Sunnycrest apart is that they never pressure you into services. After surgery I go to pick up my dog and all seemed well until I got home and found a golf ball sized amount of dried up blood on my dogs shoulder blades. Ends up the vet could not do something as easy as a microchip procedure. Had to drive back to the vet to remedy the situation. The amount of blood that had to be cleaned up for a simple microchip was astonishing.... - To further illustrate how amateur this Vet is. Dog had it's declaws removed as well. Had to wait 5 days to remove bandages. Upon removal, one side of his legs looked normal while the other side had 3-4inches worth of stitches!!! If there were any complications, nothing was mentioned to me. Vet seems very amateur at best and in my opinion should not be operating on dogs if he turns what should be a 1inch incision into 3-4 inches.... - Vet was deceptive about pricing. He will make it seem as if everything listed in his estimate is required. I found after the surgery from talking with others, many items in the estimate are optional. I would not mind paying his prices if the services were exceptional but sadly his service are below par. - This Vet is money hungry. I noticed the day of my dogs operation, there were so many other animals booked to be neutered/spayed as well. I got the feeling the Vet books way too many appointments to fill his greed and ultimately cannot provide the animals the attention they deserve while going under the knife. As a result his work looks amateurish as best. STAY AWAY
