My elderly dog gnawed at her backside so badly that the hair came off, and her skin was exposed..and got worse overnight (see pic). My regular vet didn't have an available appointment, so I thought I'd give Oasis a try since they had a same-day visit open. Pros: Same day appointment Friendly nurse/staff Reasonably priced (discount for first time clients) Cons: The room that we were seen in was filthy (see pic/video) Dr. Sung was not very compassionate toward my dog. As you can see in the photo, my dog skin was raw & exposed with blood. Dr Sung explained that it was a "hotspot". As she was speaking, she spotted a flea on the actual hotspot and yelled to the nurse, "Hurry, get the alcohol" So of course, I immediately intervened and stopped her and said, "NO, HOLD ON....wont the alcohol burn her raw skin?" She said, "Yes". She didn't spray, but proceeded to grab the flea with her fingers. Unbelievable.....I know she's a dog, but a dog will feel that pain. I'm so glad I stopped Dr. Sung dead in her tracks - that would have been extremely painful to spray alcohol on raw ,oozing and exposed skin . I won't be returning. read more

Our baby girl got her surgery done this week. It was overdue to get her spayed. To be fair, she had other health issues that were going on, that we were focused on treating. We should have brought her in sooner to get spayed, but we're focused on other health concerns. Our puppy went into heat, and we knew we needed to bring her in to get spayed. I called and was able to get an appointment the same week. Perfect! They did the surgery. Everything went well. They did charge more since she was in heat. That's fine. I picked her up today and baby girl is in a lot of pain. :( Poor thing! They gave us plenty of pain medications for her. We will be helping her recover over the next two weeks. Oasis did a good job handling our baby Esme. Happy with the surgery and glad the operation went well. read more

I recently brought my kitten in for stomach issues. The doctor herself was very kind and thorough during the appointment. She explained what we would be testing for and she mentioned they would try to collect a fecal sample while we were on site, so I wouldn't need to come back. I appreciated that level of thoughtfulness. Unfortunately, the follow through from there on out left me disappointed. An assistant later told me they had already attempted to collect the sample as he handed me the bill breakdown. Sadly this was untrue as I was in the room with my kitten the entire time and saw this never took place. I was also prescribed a medical grade food (issued six cans) but no plan or guidance was given for how long he should remain on it. During the appointment I also asked 3 separate times to have his nails trimmed; I was billed for it but it was never done until I pointed it out while we were on the way out and I reviewed my bill. The experience felt rushed and lacked any expectations for next steps. When the fecal test results came back, no one called to discuss them. They were emailed to me with no explanation thereafter. While I appreciate the doctor's kindness in general, I will be seeking follow up care and hopefully a treatment plan elsewhere. I hope this feedback can help provide more mindful experiences for paying customers who seek professional care and guidance for their pets health. read more

Took a stray kitten in for a spay and she was treated with care, she managed to take off her surgery suit at home and opened her wound, causing serious, emergency damage. Staff took her in and immediately worked on her-since the spay is affordable, it was an easy decision to pay for her second surgery. She has since healed extremely well and has more energy than I've ever seen. She was in a life threatening condition and now she is back to normal in just two weeks- I plan to bring my other pets here because of this positive experience! read more

I think I found the right vet for my cat. I've tried several other vets in the Fullerton, Cypress, and Buena Park area just jumping around, but Oasis has been the best by far. Ngl their prices are a bit higher than some others, but i think the quality of care makes it worth. I feel like Dr. Diane genuinely cares for the animals and always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Even though the clinic is busy, I've never felt rushed or like she's just jumping from room to room. She answers all my questions and gives me helpful recommendations on how to be a better pet owner. Highly disappointed about the way the staff and doctors treat their patients. I came in because my poor cat hasn't been eating since Sunday night and she has a respiratory infection. Dr. Sun was more concerned about how I need to love my cat and to remove her from a play pen I had for her. She also checked my cats spay area which has been healing differently than a normal spay. My cat was a tnr cat before so I'm sure that's why the spay was done a certain way, but she didn't even say maybe what's happening to the spay area. She just recommended I put ointment on her. When the vet tech came in after the doctors assessment he explained a ton and I was grateful for Bruce's patience. We were mid convo when the front desk came in to ask me to pay bc they were closing so it got cut short. On top of that I waited 30 minutes to be seen. My appt was at 4:30 and we were not roomed until 5 pm. My cats eating concerns were not addressed if anything the vet tech Bruce said my cat would find a way to eat even with the cone Dr. sung insisted she wear. My cat has not even been licking the area. I'm super frustrated with the "service" from this place. They had all their supplies on the floor and not even on a cabinet. So much fancy aesthetic decor in the waiting area and for what. How come the tech had no idea my cat wasn't eating for almost two days. Why don't the doctors update their techs with the patients medical history. The front desk looks miserable and confused. And then I get a lecture from Dr. sung on how I have to love my cat.... If I didn't love her I wouldn't care enough to bring her in. The vet tech admitted my concerns and appointment should not have been handled this way. I agree. No one should have their concerns for their pets handled this way. They wanted me to bring my cat in again. Not sure what else they would do if they just saw her yesterday. When I asked this the vet tech had no idea what to tell me. The popular vet hospital that my cats have been going to for 5 years used to have 3 vets, but now down to 1. Getting an appointment for a wellness checkup now requires a 10-week wait. Our cats are young and healthy with no allergies or health issues, so I decided to take them to Oasis Pet Clinic for annual exams and care. The clinic is woman owned and the facility is nice and spacious. Parking is free and plentiful. I got a same day Saturday appointment and no deposit or upfront payment was required. I was told that appointments are usually available within 1-2 business days. Not weeks and months. Two nurses and a vet checked out my cats, and all staff were patient and friendly. The lady vet was very patient and answered all my questions. She offered a lot of recommendations but explained to me that I did not have to do everything she proposed; I could just choose the services and products that I felt were necessary for my pets. Our cats' first wellness exams were given a 50% new patient discount. Prices of products and services are comparable to those at the vet hospital I've been going to for years. After our first visit to the clinic, I received an email from Oasis to invite me to check out their online pharmacy, which offers many perscription treatments. My vet hospital does not even offer an easy to use online pharmacy option. If you live near Fullerton, I highly recommend taking your pets to Oasis Pet Clinic. read more

Dr. Sung and her staffs deserve more than 5 stars. We found Oasis Pet Clinic through a friend and I am so grateful to have met Dr. Sung. She is genuinely a good doctor. I've been to so many different vets and not one compares to the level of care Dr. Sung provides. Not only does she care for the pet, dearly, she is patient with the parents when explaining the process and the situation we're faced to deal with. I was at a vet just before Oasis and the doctor literally said "oh she's just being a dramatic dog" like are you serious? We found out that our dog had stones in her gall bladder which prompted her to scream in pain but the doctor at VIP animal hospital (dont go there, it feels like a factory) to dismiss it as being a dramatic dog... unacceptable, unprofessional and incompetent. Dr. Sung, carefully explained to me exactly what was happening to my dog, made sure I understood, so clear enough that I was able explain it to my husband afterwards and he was surprised of all the things we didn't know- because we were not informed. So many vets and these doctors dont care to sympathize with the pets owners, for them its about making is take these expensive tests but Dr. Sung is really honest and transparent about what needs to be done.
