I had two crews for my project working inside, placing 7 piers, and outside, placing 18 piers. All the crew members were very quiet, polite and kept things very clean throughout the two days. They also added a root barrier to keep our trees from undoing what works they had done. For the most part, it's hard to see even where they did their work. Cleanup was 100%. They took excellent care of us. You never want to use them, but if you have foundation issues, they are the ones you want to call. Trel Lloyd was our rep and he treated us like family. Before our inspector left he assured us that we did not need any slab leveling or repairs and reminded us of some actions we should take in the near future. We now have piece of mind. We had seen a few cracks in our tile flooring and seam separating in a ceiling area. We also had several cracks in our concrete sidewalk and garage floor. He said that the standard process was to drill into the floor to check but that there would be a charge for that so, he suggested that we do it ourselves to save us the price of the drill. He even gave us detail instruction on how to drill the hole. So we did do the test ourselves and we dropped the dowel as he instructed and yes, there was water under our foundation. So, he said the best approach was for him to drill more holes in varies places in the floor and fill under the foundation with some kind of foam. Apparently, the foam would expand and fill the void. That seem to have done the trick because four weeks later my husband drilled another hole in the floor just to check to see if there was any water or any more voids in the foundation and he found none. I hope that we never have foundation repair issues again but if we do we would call them again.

Payless foundation repair came out and gave us a free straight talk- no nonsense estimate. The price hurt but they were the cheapest we found and the guy that they sent out. Gave us much more info and did a much more detailed inspection. So, we trusted his opinion more than all the other companies. Luckily, it was not as bad as original thought. They fixed all the repairs and we were able to move in on schedule. The work is great, as far as I can tell. The walls are not cracking any more and the windows open and shut seamlessly which was not happening before. On any guess, we have a solid warranty on all the foundation repair and pier and beam foundation concrete repairs that they done on our home. Now hopefully, living in San Antonio will be as great as it was living my whole life in Houston.
