An essential stop when visiting the area. Very nice man and lady runs this shop! The donuts speak for themselves. Soft in texture. Adequately moist on the inside. Deliciously dangerous. Maple bar being my favorite and of course the holes! Taking these to the beach has become a tradition. Been returning for years and will continue to do so. Love this place. Can't imagine without their existence. read more

My inlaws regular donut spot was on vacation, but Foster's was just down the street and open. We dropped in and were greeted immediately and presented with all sorts of fresh baked goodies. It's a small place, with not much space inside to do more than order to go, but they have a small table on the inside with maybe four chairs and two smaller two-top tables outside. One of the highlights besides the regular donut fare is my favorite the cronut. If a place has a cronut and they do it well, then it's a great start to a morning - a donut and a croissant all in one, c'mon. They don't have an accessible private restroom which only adds to it's more is a take it and go type place. Donuts are fresh, coffee is hot. read more

They have incredible croissants, made with only organic flour and butter, yeast raised. The croissants are a delight.

Fresh, delicious and moist! Great customer service very nice gentleman at the counter! I think his name was Tony, maybe the owner? So nice! Clean and yummmmmmy! read more

We can't get enough of Foster's maple twists! Fluffy tender yeast dough with plenty of icing that settles into all the cracks and folds! 5-Star! Everyone who works there is so friendly, and today the baker made a special lemon filled twist for my husband since they were out of the regular lemon filled. read more

Friendly, helpful service and a variety of great pastry in a clean and inviting setting

Doughnuts were okay. The dough was not what I like. Fast service and friendly. I probably would go to another doughnut shop.

day old donut holes, got a apple fritter and it's at least 1 day old plus the center is just mush also got a chocolate chip bar is very greasy. I won't be going back. read more

Awesome donuts and truly kind people running the shop. Took a dozen sprinkle donuts to a final game and the kids loved them.

First time here and I have to say I really liked it ! We were greeted by the owner I think and he was so nice. We came in at 230pm and he still had a good amount of customers. The place was clean. Nowhere to snack at , but that's ok! The donuts were soo delicious. The right sweetness and tasted fresh with every bite. Such a yummy treat !!! read more

$3 dollars for a donut is crazy . Not only that but they charge a .86 cent card fee . Either she gave her self an extra tip on top of that . Also it's illegal to charge for card fee. I'd give them a lower score but the gentleman that helped me out was sweet . But $3 is crazy for one donut . The donut shop in nipomo charges $1.50 read more

We found our new donut place! It's farther away but we'll worth the drive. The donuts are fluffy, fresh, perfectly sweetened (meaning not too sweet, but sweet enough). They're pretty much perfect! The fluffiness is unbelievable! The gentleman who helped us was so nice! He was friendly and patient as we tried to decide on our dozen. He was so sweet to throw in some donut holes too! Even those were lovely and fluffy -!: the glaze was just right too. We also tried the coffee and it was a solid coffee to have with donuts. Would definitely have it again. The donut display was nice and clean and inviting. Ticks all the boxes for me for our new go to donut place. Beats the donut shop in SLO big time! Thanks Foster's! Keep it up! read more

Foster's Donuts - Everything you see here was delicious! (I sampled the old fashioned one which is why it looks like it's missing a piece;) - Donuts Near Me - Grover Beach, California

This place is truly great! Every time I come here with my family or even by myself, the owners are always so kind and usually give me donut holes at no cost. The donuts are seriously to die for, and the prices are super affordable. Definitely one of my favorite spots! read more

Worst customer service I've ever had. 30 seconds looking at the donuts and I was told to hurry up and pick. Mind you i was buying a dozen. They had a limited selection, so none of the donuts my kids normally get were available. She made the atmosphere in the donut shop uninviting and full of tension. read more

On this trip we tried a few different donut shops. We always seemed to go back to this location. Very friendly staff, yummy fresh donuts even later in the day. My husband ordered a cinnamon twist. The next time I wanted one but it was late afternoon they were sold out. But I got many other items. Then a few days later my husband surprised us with cinnamon twists. They are very yummy and flakey. read more

Donuts are dense. Service was fine, not overly friendly or very friendly at all. The female workers just silently stared at us without even a smile. You could at least try to be welcoming to patrons of your business. $30 for a dozen donuts. Will not be back. Not worth the money for the taste. read more

So hard to find a good raisin danish. Was this one the best Ive ever had - no but it wasn't bad. The gentleman that served us was so nice and did everything to make us happy. He brought out the fresh just made donuts from the back and kept giving us donut holes to eat while we picked all of our treats. He even threw extras in our box for us. If we weren't traveling from out of town we would've packed that whole rack of donuts with us. The Apple fritter was probably one of the top fritters we've ever had and trust me, we have become the Apple fritter experts these days. This fritter is second to the best we've had at High Hill in Apple Hill. My boyfriend wouldn't stop talking about going back there to get more donuts. We will have to make another trip down to Pismo Beach and stop off at Fosters Donuts while we're there. read more

We had a great time visiting Foster's donuts this morning! Their maple bar doughnuts are the best we have ever had and are in a category all their own. We are from the Orange County and we drive here anytime we are remotely in the area! Not only were their donuts, amazing, but they are very kind and accepting to people with disabilities. My son is autistic, non-speaking and uses an AAC device to communicate, and they were very patient with him as he communicated with it. He was very loud and excited while ordering and they were so so kind to him each of the three times he went to order. I would come here just for their kindness and then throw in AMAZING donuts and it's an absolute yes! read more

After going here for donuts and the best breakfast sandwich of my life (atleast in the top 3) idk that there's any other donut place in AG/Océano I wanna go to. It's a small mom and pop shop with fluffy, puffy fresh donuts that I'd recommend to anyone in the area. We picked a breakfast sandwich that had ham, cheese, and bacon bit egg on a big ol croissant, and several traditional style donuts. The guy working greeted us cheerfully and so did his wife - and offered to heat it up. It was destroyed before we even made it back home The customer service was pleasant and friendly, the donuts and breakfast sandwich were top tier and it's a small local business - definitely coming here again! read more

This was our third attempt of the day to find a donut. It's a tiny shop tucked away in the corner of a small strip mallThere's just a single table for two in the corner, but that worked for my two-yr old and I. The owner was very friendly and even threw in a couple donut holes with our order on the house. It might be small, but if I was just looking for a quick bite this would be a great go-to spot in AG. read more
