So I was running errands and popped in as I had a charm that I needed to add to my bracket. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted (by does one expect less at James Avery?) and asked how can they help me today. I told the sales clerk that I needed to add a charm and asked about how long will it take. She told me it wouldn't take long and I almost fainted. She assisted me with locating the perfect spot on my bracelet and while she worked on it another clerk assisted me as I walked around and looked at other charms. I had some other errands to run and I was going to come back but before I could walk out the door, my bracelet was being brought to me. Kristen, you went above and beyond and I only wish that you were closer to me as I walked out the door a very happy customer!!!

I…read morehave to give a HUGH shoutout to James Avery and their incredible team especially the manager, Alexandria, at the San Marcos store. About a month and a half ago my daughter and her grandmother went into their store to get a couple links added to her charm bracelet. Of course they have to ship it to Kerrville to get it fixed and would mail it back to us as soon as it was done. Since her grandmother is the one that took her to do this we didn't have any of the information on when it would be returned to us. After a few attempts of getting the shipping information from her grandmother we finally got it. Once we looked up the tracking number it said it was delivered over a month ago by UPS.....WHAT?!?!?! We never received anything, and with it being so long ago we figured it would be a complete loss. Figuring that whatever address they delivered to was enjoying it. After trying to start a claim with UPS, with little hope in mind, I got to a step that made me think I better call James Avery just to make sure I didn't need anything from their end. Once I got Alexandria on the phone that was it, I didn't need to do anything else. She handled everything. They even sent Ava a new replacement bracelet and took several days and emails to make sure it was exactly like the one that was lost. And doing this all before they have anything settled with UPS. I am absolutely impressed and beyond grateful. I am a customer for life (not that I wasn't before but this just sealed the deal). If you want excellent customer service, the friendliest people and top notch jewelry, James Avery is the place to go.

The manager even asked me if I'd thought about selling it privately since she felt the bid was pretty low, but it was about what I paid for the watch in the first place so I took it :) I appreciated the honesty, though! She really made me feel comfortable with the whole deal. Very fast exchange--brought in the watch and she checked the serial number to assure authenticity, then came back with their bid. I left with cash in hand in under 20 minutes! I took a quick look at their merchandise, everything was very nicely displayed and looked to be well priced. I definitely feel comfortable doing business with Dallas Gold & Silver Exchange in the future and look forward to their brand new building (coming soon).

This review is not for the quality of Markham fine jewelers, but the service…read more We purchased a beautiful custom ring in December and I have brought it in for service three times since. The first time I brought the ring in was for an initial downsize. For whatever reason, they had trouble finding the location of the ring when I arrived to pick it up. Eventually they found it but it took questions and searching information. Roughly 2 months ago I brought the ring back in to be polished before our wedding. Yet again, they could not find the ring when I arrived for pickup. The associates had to discuss among themselves and try to figure out which "repair individual" had received my ring. 5 days ago I brought it in because the gold had bent, and I simply wanted it to be reshaped and polished. This was the worst event yet. While I had been told that I could simply bring my ID in for pickup, today that did not suffice. They couldn't find the ring anywhere in the shop. There were four associates communicating, making calls, asking questions, searching jewelers workspace and still it was nowhere to be found. Layla came out and told me that while they knew the ring was in the store, they couldn't find it. Absolutely gutted. There was a mix of answers. One answer was that the ring hadn't been entered into the system since May (over 3 months ago). This was where I panicked, they were essentially telling me there was no trace of my ring. I was also asked if I was at the right jeweler. I assured them I absolutely was and that my husband had customized my ring with Robert himself. I was also told the jeweler who received my ring for work never submitted a work order receipt for it, and it wasn't able to be tracked. All within a span of 30 minutes. Hoping and waiting Soemone would stumble across my ring. One of the associates was calling jewelers and asking what was done with the ring or if they'd had it. After I left, promising to bring back the receipt , the ring was found. I came back and Layla apologized profusely. Layla did a wonderful job communicating and problem solving and I believe she's the sole reason my ring was found. However, having met with Robert and seen his wonderful mannerisms and professionalism, I was disappointed to have experienced so much hardship for simple jewelry adjustments. Their work is beautiful and they have a very kind staff. None of this however matters if jewelry and precious sentiments are lost. Not only have I had to call every single time to check on my jewelry, as I was never reached out to for pickup, my ring would sit there for days after completion as I waited to receive a call that it was ready. Robert has a beautiful business going and wonderful products. I hate to see it overshadowed by confusion and possibly carelessness with precious items. I do plan to continue buisness and Buddha's more jewelry with Markham Fine Jewelers moving forward, but would like to feel confident in knowing that my items are left in safe hands. Again, this review is solely based on the three separate instances I've encountered with their customer service. The quality and selection of jewelry is beautiful. This truly is a beautiful business and all customers deserve service of equal quality to what Robert exudes.

The Southlake store is elegant and absolutely spotless with many brands of watches to choose from. This store is an authorized Omega Dealer and was one of my reasons for visiting this location. From the moment I entered the store, the sales staff Abbey, Korrie, and Jlane treated me like family which made the buying experience a fun and enjoyable time as it should be. They were all extremely knowledgeable, personable, and generous with their time. I had many questions and my salesperson, Abbey, took the time to answer all of them which helped in the selection of my new Omega Moonwatch. There were no games or high-pressure tactics from any of the sales staff. When it came time for sizing of the watch, Korrie, did a really great job removing the necessary links for a perfect fit. My experience at Markham Fine Jewelers was far more enjoyable than anything I have experienced at an Omega Boutique. If you are looking for an Omega watch or any other fine jewelry do yourself a favor and visit with Abbey, Korrie, or Jlane. They are genuinely and sincerely happy to help you with a purchase and will take good care of you. My sincere thanks to all of you.
