It's easy to enter a conversation with any of them and when asked, they give advice as if they were talking to one of their own friends. The whole atmosphere is easy-going like a place you go to hang out. You don't feel the pressure to buy anything, everyone is there to be helpful. My husband bought a leather vest and got a patch sewn on, then later he picked up a gray t-shirt. That is why I'll keep going back and why I give this five star review. Such personal service. So cool story, we kept buying stuff for the bike...we had bought a pricey helmet that took a bite out of our wallet, so money was tight, but we still wanted to go to Wilson's. We went and I picked up a sticker and we took money out to pay for it. However, the old man cashier we had talked to earlier about our recent purchases and such...He told us, "No, just take it. It's free." This old man seller was very sweet and made my day. :)

Amazon and Ebay dominate but there are several others frogjelly being one of them. 1st purchase was 2lb maul for $30 and it was very high quality. You can feel it soon as you pick it up. Use it every day for something. Next order was leather. I ordered product from their web site and when it showed I was not going to be able to use it. Katherine at frogjelly was excellent to work with on the return and the credit (she offered a refund), and then fulfilling another order using the credit. She really made me feel like I was their only customer. After several emails about our business and the kind of product I was looking for, I trusted her to hand pick two hides because she said she thought she knew what I wanted. They arrived yesterday and she was 100% spot on. Good sized, clean, and affordable. My professional history is in customer service related industries and she reminded me how important yood customer relations really are. Because now I was the one being treated properly. The custom hat was an experience everyone should have at least once. James formed the perfect hat for me and there was so much more involved than I realized with sizing. They started off the experience with a glass of Prosecco and within 15 minutes I was sitting down for the fitting. The entire sitting was about 30 minutes. She decided to call first, and received from very helpful information from Sherry. We decided to go check it out in person. First off, Wow! I can not get over all the options in this place. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. Anything to do with leather is here. Leather of all sorts. Things to decorate leather with. Tools. Dyes. Even project kits, some very intricate. We met Sherry, and she was super helpful. Helped us with repair ideas, gave us some scraps (to put behind the area needing repair), taught us about the special glues used to bond leather, then told us about dying and color matching. From what I have seen, you do get some bang for your buck in terms of quality. The leather is very high quality and artisanal - well worth the controversially high price point. Here is one of the only places I have been able to find that makes custom name belts. If you would like a service like that, expect the price to start in the high $300s, with each letter being an additional $10. Fully custom belts can be delivered anywhere in the country in about 60 days. I would also love to acknowledge how considerate the girls working the register were! On a hot summer day as my dad was working on his custom belt order, one of the sweet girls noticed he was sweating and brought us all cold waters. Such a lovely gesture! I would definitely recommend stopping by for your luxury western needs when in the Stockyard area!
