I went into letting them know that I had paid with Apple Pay, and I asked how the returns work for that, and it was insane from there. The girl training in the front was very kind and patient. However when she called the assistant manager for help, the assistant manager was giving me some weird looks like she was annoyed and or suspicious or something. I asked if there was an alternative in refunding my money, like if she could do cash. I asked if she could seek further info on a return for Apple Pay, she was very very annoyed. She told me there was nothing they could do and I had to plead with her and ask her to pls call someone above her to ask for details as I was leaving the city of Fort Worth to Houston and i am a paramedic (don't wear scrubs) so store credit was not of use for me. I wanted to make sure the money would be refunded into. Y bank account. It was like pulling teeth, she refused to give me the number to corporate, she refused initially to contact someone above her before she actually did. She refused to give me her name, she told me that " I needed to learn to listen", and she ignored me when I asked for her name, and she refused to give it to me. I want to note.. that there is nothing wrong with not knowing how to do something, but being in a leader position, you would think that she would know to call the next person in the chain of command to ask for further help/guidance. She made it such a complicated process, and had such a bad attitude the entire time, it felt like high school and clearly a bad example to the trainee and also very unprofessional. I had never been to a Cato before but I noticed that they sell sizes from juniors all the way up…read morethrough plus. As a famine resistant woman I like the opportunity to wear clothes that are attractive and as flattering as they can be on a pudge like me, and I liked the fact that they sold clothes for all sizes. So, I went in hoping that they would have some cute stuff. And they did. I didn't like everything in the store, but I did find a number of tops that I did like and they were much cheaper than Torrid or heaven forbid Lane Bryant. Probably on par with Avenue or a little cheaper even. I found t-shirts with prints for $10 that were cute and flattering and some more tunic style ones that can dress up or down for $20 that I adored. I would have expected similar tops to be 50-75% more at Torrid and 100% more at Lane Bryant. They seemed to have a pretty good selection for bottoms as well but I'd already bought all the bottoms I need so didn't really look for those. The staff was friendly without being pushy or obsequious. They do have the store divided up in regular sizes, plus sizes and little girl sizes. I would prefer TBH to have the plus and regular all together. It always feels a bit Rosa Parks to be delegated to the 'fat' side of the store. But at least it is the same store here, unlike Dress Barn which makes a whole separate entrance for fatties... which is always a bit disconcerting. Most of the clothes were on the casual, business casual, or date nite side rather than truly formal. They also had shoes, purses, jewelry etc. but I didn't really shop those. The clothes were mostly fashionable and they would fit a variety of body shapes. I will definitely go back - it's hard to find cute clothes for cheap especially in larger sizes. I think the sizes went up to 28 but I am not sure. I didn't have trouble finding my size which is on the lower end of the plus spectrum.

J&M leathers are beautiful-- of impressive quality. My dad wore J&M in the 70's along with Foreshiem Imperials! I would watch my dad polish and shine his shoes monthly....and my fashion forward hubby takes the exact same care of his footwear. I've known for years these are quality leather goods. We came in a with a pair of sandals retail $150 (according to your tag) that the inside soles have disintegrated. We understand that these shoes are almost a year old, but even though this is Dallas, sandals are not worn all year long. Our understanding when buying these were that they were quality shoes that would last for a few years. I am sure that is what you would have said when selling the shoes to us right? Funny we come in and you tell us that because we got almost a year out of the shoes, nothing could be done but a "Wear Credit". So you are basically saying your shoes do not hold up a year? I guess my Louis Vuitton purse is over a year old and I should be luck it is in tact huh? You also told us that if we sent these in to corporate, we would not get a response, so corporate does not respond to their customers? You did make sure to THREATEN to call security on us if we wanted to show customers in the store these shows for their opinion.
