Mike takes advantage of this small town and it's sad. He's unprofessional and truly uses dirty sales tactics to get his way. The rest of the staff is great. Try avoiding Mike, he's very arrogant and responds like a smart a*s. The dealership building as a whole is very nice, welcoming and has a homey feel. The rest of the staff is overall very nice and they actually help you throughout your buying process. The reason why I give only one star is because I am a true believer that the employees are only as good as their boss. Mike is the sales manager, if he's teaching dirty sales tactics to his employees, Casper will soon learn to hate Foss Toyota because of the culture Mike will continue to build. However once I switch to finishing Tyler Price used some dirty sales tactics to try and get us to use their financing. Once we switched to our own bank he then lied to me and my fathers face about when the title would get to the bank across town. Don't go here. Save yourself heartache and frustration. Please see the following journal of my recent ordeal, if you need help deciding whether to use this shop. 1) my daughter took her car to Foss following an accident in which she hit a piece of road debris which resulted in a completely flat tire. She was told that the wheel was damaged beyond repair and that a replacement would be ordered. She was also told that the tire was undamaged and could be reused. 2) It should be noted, that from the beginning, my daughter was made to feel uncomfortable about asking questions about the damage or the repair and that staff treated us both (her in person and me by telephone) as if we could not possibly understand the problem, the fix, or the procedures to get from one to the other. 3) Two days later my daughter picked the car up from Foss and was told (for the first time) that the tire was in fact, not reusable and had had to be replaced. She sent me copies of the paperwork and pictures of the tire and it was immediately clear that the tire was not compatible with the car, the other tires or the road conditions in Wyoming. The tire that had originally been on the car (put on the vehicle by another Toyota dealership 4 months earlier) was a Bridgestone tire (genuine Toyota part) with a V speed rating, 85,000 mileage rating, and good consumer reviews for performance in snow conditions. The tire that Foss replaced this tire with was an off-brand tire, with a W speed rating, a 60,000 mileage rating and very poor ratings for performance in ice and snow. 4) I arranged for a local tire specialty shop to look at the replaced tire. They performed an inspection free of charge and concluded that the tire was incompatible, inappropriate and potentially hazardous. In addition, they assessed the work done in mounting the tire as sloppy and unfinished. 5) I called and asked to speak with a service supervisor. I reached D. D gave me no more than 30 seconds of his time before putting me through to A, the service advisor who had arranged for the shoddy work. D never followed up to see if my concerns had been addressed and never took another one of my calls though I tried to reach him on no less than 4 other occasions over the next 4 days. 6) A advised me that there had only been two choices for tires that he had the option of putting on my car. He claimed that the alternate tire was even less stable in snowy road conditions based on customer feedback. He stated that he was limited to the choice of one of these two tires by my road hazard insurance company. Not true. My insurance company had no information about the tire that was chosen to replace the damaged one. And they had previously paid for the Bridgestone tires that were already on the car. 7) A further said that he could not have gotten a matching tire anywhere. This is also a lie, as a simple google search reveals that the exact tire that was damaged is available from Toyota distribution centers. A failed to acknowledge, and Foss failed to recognize, that the reason there was not a tire available was because Foss misdiagnosed the problem in the first place and did not order one, believing that replacement of the wheel was the only thing necessary. Further, they did not contact myself or my daughter when it became evident to them that they would have to replace the tire. Presented with the choice, it would've saved everyone a lot of time and aggravation to determine at that time that since Foss had no compatible tires, we would need to get the tire from another source. 8) I advised A that we would be getting a replacement tire elsewhere. That he would need to remove the incompatible tire and only charge my insurance company for the wheel. I placed A on hold to call my insurance company on a three way call to clarify this state of affairs, and A disconnected from the call. I spoke with the insurance company and was told that Foss would need to verbally authorize the return and then fax in the credit card return slip to the insurance company. 9) over the next two days, the insurance company informed me that the verbal authorization from A had been made, but no fax return receipt had yet been received. The insurance company readily provided me with the fax or email where the receipt should be sent and told me that information had been provided to A. Finally, 6 days after the ordeal began, I was able to reach the operations director who sent the refund slip. Dealing with Foss was a headache that I hope this review will prevent other people from experiencing. There are other service providers in the area with good customer service. Do yourself a favor and ask around to find them. read more

We went to Foss back in July to have a busted tire replaced while traveling through WY back home to MN assuming that we'd get better service than Tires Plus or WalMart, and that our service records would be viewable to our local dealer. We asked for one tire to get us home where we could go to our regular dealer for a full set. But the service manager told us the best deal would be to buy a full set because they'd all be covered by warranty. We agreed, knowing we'd need a full set soon anyway. Well today we brought the car in to our local dealer because road debris caused a flat, and lo and behold NONE of the tires are under warranty. Both the service advisor and I spoke to Foss's service manager on the phone, who offered no help other than "we don't offer hazard warranties" -- despite that we were specifically told they did and that such was the lie on which we based our full set purchase. We'd have been better off buying tires from WalMart, given that we'd be able to come to store at home and have a warranty found and honored -- as opposed to finding ourselves without warranty three states away from the half-added dealership that literally sold us a lie. Go anywhere but Foss. read more

While getting an oil change on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma in Lander WY, they checked my Bluetooth microphone which sounded scratchy and was cutting out on phone calls. They told me that I just needed an Adjustment on the Bluetooth microphone and that I could get it done at Foss Toyota in Casper since there was no time left to get it taken care of in Lander since I had to leave immediately to get back to Casper. So today I called Foss to schedule and they told me I would have to leave the truck and my phone for this update and they would arrange to take me home while they did this. I responded that because I live alone with a severely handicapped man, we cannot be without either a vehicle or a phone in case of emergency. The receptionist said they could probably arrange for a loaner vehicle for me so that we wouldn't be stranded while my truck waited for this service. But, Nope, they couldn't do that. (I guess I should have taken my handicapped guy with me to wait in their waiting area because after about 10 minutes, I guarantee they would have quickly found a vehicle for me to take him home to get him out of there.) So I will wait until I go back to Lander to have Fremont Toyota do the update for my truck. In times like this, you would have thought that Foss Motors would have done anything possible to help me, but NO. I will never attempt to do business with Foss Toyota again. read more

Couldn't figure out what was wrong with my Camry, and sold me an expensive part, that didn't solve my issues. Long story short, out of desperation, at the end of my workday, I bought a very overpriced used car. Approx paid $5000.00 more than Kelly Blue Book value. This dealership charges 3-4 times more for labor than other dealers thought the state. We are loyal Toyota people and this dealership took advantage when we had issues with our Tundra on a road trip. Not only do they charge 3-4 times more depending on which dealership you compare with. They tax on 7 percent to everything they bill for. They won't tell you that up front. If you have car trouble in Casper I would go to the Gm dealer. They can do the same work. read more

Had service done on my pickup here consisting of a transmission drain and fill, rear differential drain and fill, front differential drain and fill (including T case), and replacement of the serpentine belt. I was quoted just under $350 by the service department. When I came to pick up my truck the bill was $702. The prices here are absolutely outrageous and the quoting system is terrible. $702 is so far from $350 that I consider them to have straight up lied to me. Asked the guy in the service department why it was so far off and he had no explanation to offer. To top it all off I got to sit in the reception area and listen to the staff loudly complain about customers for 10 minutes while waiting for my paper work to be ready. I recently had the spark plugs replaced on my Toyota Tundra at this dealership when I had truck trouble in the middle of a road trip. They are extremely overpriced and I will never go back! I was charged $489.95 for spark plug replacement - afterwards, I called all the other Toyota dealerships in Wyoming and asked them for a quote for this same service. Prices ranged from $221.00 to $319.00, with an overall statewide average of $253.00 - literally HALF of what I was charged at Foss. I contacted their service manager and stated my concern that they had gouged me on price, but he was unhelpful and told me the $489.95 was a "standard" charge for that service even after I shared with him the information and pricing I had received from the other dealerships across the state. Don't go here for service unless you want to pay double what you'd pay at any other Toyota dealer! I'm so unimpressed and disappointed with my experience. read more
