I was passing thru Casper, WY and was staying at a hotel. I called and spoke with Todd. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I told him I needed an oil change and the Hyundai dealer recommended to change the drive belts. He said they were busy, but he'd squeeze me in since I was from out of town. He called me back in about an hour with an estimate. Although it seemed a little high, after explaining how he came up with it, I agreed. I took my vehicle in on Wed. Todd was nice enough to drive me back to the motel, and then when it was finished a few hours later, came and picked me up. The total was less because they didn't need to put in a full synthetic oil. I appreciated his honesty, getting me an appt. in spite of being busy, and going out of the way to take me to/from the motel and how fast they did the work. For these reasons, I would highly recommend Doyle Johnson's whether you live here or you're from out of town. read more

HORRIBLE customer service and they damaged my SUV! I had to go to another mechanic to get it fixed. Unbelievable! Negative 5 stars! The manager, Todd is as nasty as can be and socially tone-deaf. Had a break down 50 miles south as my water pump froze and belt broke. Visiting my sister that lives there I am from Littleton co. I have a older model pathfinder 89 that has had its problems. It broke down sat and had it towed to Doyle's . Monday they took care of of things getting a new fuel pump installed with a timing kit. Got me on my way Monday afternoon. Todd and Karen went above and beyond when I recently broke down while passing through Casper. They managed to work me into their very busy schedule and had my water pumped fixed very efficiently. However, Todd noticed that I had an old coolant hose that was about to break while fixing the water pump. The part needed to be specially ordered from Toyota. They still had my truck ready to go first thing the day the part came in. I was able to safely make the 1,100 mile cross country drive with out any other issues after this repair. They helped diagnose the issue and although Napa in Casper didn't have the part, they help get me set up for the next day in Salt Lake City. Also they didn't charge me. I just completed my business trip in Casper and was heading back to Denver when my transmission began to act up. The owner Todd took the time out of his packed schedule on a Friday just before closing to help diagnose the problem. He hooked up his computer and went on to test drive to see what the problem was. Unfortunately for me, it was a bigger problem than could be handled immediately. I had my vehicle towed back to Denver so I can deal with it locally. I wanted to write this review because Todd went out of his way to help a total stranger in need and didn't even charge me to help out. My family has been using this place since we moved here and have never had an issue till now. My moms car air conditioning stopped working so she took it to them to get it fixed, $800 dollars later she was told to come get her car as it was all fixed. Took it home and the next day went to head In to town she had no air conditioning. Being my dad was in the the hospital due to neck surgery she was unable to take it back till today. Took it in and was told that she had a cut hose in the system that they didn't find before but it was going to cost her an additional $1200 to have it fixed. When asked then why it cost her $800 for very substandard work they said that was the way it is. Being somebody that is dealing with customer service on a daily basis that is VERY PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would tell anybody that reads this to pass it on and let others know what kind of business this place is doing to people not to mention the senior citizens of Natrona County by not standing behind their work. read more

I hit a deer while on the road. Doyle trimmed off the trashed part of the front bumper and found some jagged sheet metal in the engine bay, which he bent away from a tire. We recently started using Doyle Johnson's. We have a fleet of vehicles and are particular to our mechanics. We thought we'd give DJ a shot. They fixed some driveline issues on our 1998 Ram. Price was appropriate. Then, they went through a used V10 pickup we just purchased and gave it some long overdue love. That truck now runs great. I asked Todd about airbags to beef up the hauling capacity and he recommended a H-D spring system. I'm pleased with the choice. I'm not even a Ford girl, but I love how this truck runs after her tuneup, fixup, and springup. I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff. read more

They sound like they know everything about the problem but over 9 months of false diagnosis and over $2500 they didn't fix a damned thing. Just had these guys do some exhaust work on my Mercedes E63 AMG to give her a nice rumble. They did an excellent job and the sound is pretty dang awesome. Some years back, they also put two new fuel tanks in my Lifted 1985 Stepside Chevy and their work was on point with that as well. Great company, great work. This is the kind of auto repair shop everyone wishes they could find. Jerry and his crew are not only honest and pleasant, but they will actuallly talk you out of services you thought you might need. For instance, the ABS system went intermittent on my 1998 Toyota truck. Jerry said he would estimate about $1400 to fix the whole thing. His recommendation based on the age of the truck and the fact that I have been driving cars withhout any ABS was that we just unplug the ABS computer for $0. The only problem with Doyle Johnson's is that they're pretty busy most of the time. If you have a routine tune-up or something like that, they may have to schedule you for the following week. read more

New to Casper I needed work done on my Avalanche and after going to another mechanic I arrived here to be greeted and taken care of by Todd. He was kind, informative and made sure I agreed to every aspect of repair before starting it. He called me three times after I dropped the truck off to make sure I knew what was going on and when the truck was not going to be ready for an extra day they picked me up from home and drove me to work. The biggest rip off in town. 485.00 to change a window regulator. The parts on line cost 85.00. So I guess their labor cost is 400.00 hourly since it only took 45 minutes to replace. read more

We were traveling through Casper last summer on a road trip (our first one with a toddler...) when our truck broke down. I honestly can't recall what the issue was anymore, but every other mechanic we contacted told us it would be at least three days before they could do any repairs for us!!! Todd and his crew took us in right away and got us out in a matter of hours--what a relief for us (and the toddler!) They did say that part of the speed was that they had the part in stock, and that if it had been another issue, we might have had to wait for a few days. But at least they took us in! Every other place wasn't even willing to look at us until after the weekend. We would absolutely recommend Doyle Johnson's over any other chain. read more
