I was curious to compare the service costs of the two dealerships, so I called both for estimates on the same repairs. I thought Menholt was high, then I called Vista, their charges made Menholt look like a bargain! For example, on one repair there was a $400 difference. Yikes! I know who I'm giving my business to!!

From my very first inquiry, Tristin went above and beyond to help me assess and understand everything about the 2019 Toyota Tacoma I was interested in. I wasn't local and was actually 17 hours away from being able to see the truck in person, but that didn't stop him from providing incredible support. Tristin recorded at least five detailed videos of the truck, including one while it was on the lift. He carefully walked through each aspect of the vehicle, taking his time to explain what he was seeing and the video was super clear. He even pointed out small imperfections to make sure I had a complete and honest picture of the vehicle. I truly appreciated the thoroughness and transparency especially because of not being to be there, it's easier to coat things over... not once did I get the sense that he was doing that. I sent the videos to my mechanic and several others, they commented on how thorough Tristen was and just as important, how accurate he was. I had specific questions about how the truck handled with larger tires and the many enhancements it had, and Tristin didn't just offer general responses. He took the truck on the highway, tested it with the windows up and down, listened for any unusual sounds, and even tested the 4WD functionality with me on the phone. His knowledge about the upgrades and how they compared to other trucks in its class was impressive. I felt like I received a truly comprehensive assessment. Communication was also a strong point. Tristin stayed in touch through text, email, and phone, even during a very busy time at the dealership due to the start of tariff changes. Despite the hustle and bustle, I never felt rushed or like an afterthought. He made sure I had all the information I needed and that I felt confident throughout the process. Wes Holman greeted me in the parking lot with a huge smile and a no pressure helping attitude. I told him the truck I liked and within minutes they had my Keys in hand and a greet and meet with sales manger Matt Harvey. During my test drive I had a personal tutorial of the technology including features. I already knew what I wanted, but it didn't stop him from showing me more of the goodies the truck had to offer I had no idea about. After agreeing to purchase they went more than the extra mile to make me happy with a trade In value and while I wasn't aware the extra dealer incentives on top of the dealership discount still surprises me on the price of the truck purchased. Wes was so accommodating regarding my schedule and availability and provided refreshments while trade in values were found and negotiated. Sales manager Matt Harvey was super kind and only popped in for hellos and to do the most fast and streamlined paperwork closing in the last ten cars I've bought. Start to finish this was the simplest, friendliest, and all around easiest new vehicle purchase in memory. Despite the difficult work Ames honored the quote. They did a good job on the hitch and wiring so I decided to get the U-haul trailer from them. They had the trailer ready on time and hooked it up for me. They even flipped the hitch for free so I had a few more inches of clearance. Since I was leaving town they could have screwed me but did not. They also do auto repair and I wish I had knew about them while living in Casper. If you need auto work or U-haul stuff give them a try. Honest and professional!

Kent was great on the phone and gave us a number of a good towing service to get the vehicle to Ames. We are from Denver so rented a car to drive back to Denver since it was close to quitting time. Kent and his crew diagnosed and replaced the fuel pump. The price was fair and we traveled back to Casper to pick up the vehicle the next week when we had another service call in Casper. The vehicle was now in great running condition and we had an uneventful 300 mile test drive back to Denver. Highly recommend Ames Automotive!
