We were looking for a new car for over six months, knew the car we wanted, but either were looking at a $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 markup (nope!), no supply on the lot, or dealers who were visibly uninterested in making an effort to sell us the car we wanted to buy out here in sunny Los Angeles. Fed up with the lack of local options, my son called at least 16 dealerships in four States and finally found the exact KIA we wanted in stock at MSRP (that's no markup, folks!) at White's Mountain KIA, in Casper, Wyoming. Wyoming---?! What the---?!!! All I knew from Wyoming was The Devil's Tower from Close Encounters and Cheyenne Mountain military facility from a million-and-one end-of-the-world movies... Hmmmm. Honestly, I was reluctant to have to deal with an out-of-state vehicle purchase, far, far away, but Taylor, our salesman at White's Mountain KIA, was pure awesome: he talked us through it all, went over and reviewed the details, was responsive, knew the product, took the time to answer our questions (even the repeat questions!), and put no pressure on us. In short, he was an absolute straight shooter, and everything you want out of someone selling you a car!! We discussed the logistics of a 1600 mile trip to get the car, and yeah, like I said, I was a little nervous... Once we agreed to the details, over a few phone calls, Taylor, and the F&I guy, Cory (also an absolutely solid, stand up guy!), worked with us to complete about 80% of the process over the phone and computer. The remainder we would finish in person at the dealership. Taylor met us at the airport in Casper with our vehicle... He explained many of the features of our new car on the drive back to the dealership. There, we finished up the paperwork with Cory in about two hours. And in case you are wondering --- as I was --- there were no last minute "whammies" or any surprises or "gotcha's". The pricing and all details on the finalized paperwork we were signing matched everything that we had discussed and agreed to prior to heading out to Wyoming, which, by the way, was truly beautiful to behold! With the final paperwork completed, Taylor took us back out to the vehicle, and knowing we had a long drive home, again took his time to review the features of the vehicle, service, etc. etc. answering all of our questions big and small, showing a lot of patience and good will. We could absolutely tell that he took pride in his job, was great at it, and wanted us to have the best experience possible with our purchase. This level of service continued after our road trip home, as the California DMV, alas, does not make it easy (understatement) to register an out-of-State vehicle --- Taylor once again showed us his patience and professionality as he stuck with us through this, the toughest part of the process, working with us as well as a local WY company paid to help complete the CA registration process on behalf of ourselves and the dealership. He could easily have said, "So long, suckers!" and bailed on us at this point, but once again, was responsive, helpful, professional, and a man of his word. There were no shenanigans, no nonsense or games, just a good, honest transaction and professional follow-through. This was everything that you are supposed to get, but, unfortunately usually do not, when buying a car. Yep. We got all that and more from Taylor and team... Would I recommend buying a car 1600 miles away from White's Mountain KIA? Absolutely! We've already passed the word to others in our area who are also searching for a new car and hitting the same local-dealer obstacles that we did. Oh, yeah, and we love our new car!! Thanks a bunch to Taylor, Cory, and anyone else on the team at White's Mountain KIA who helped with our purchase! You rock!!!! Was sold a truck that had plenty of issues but was told there was none. Robert was very secretive about why the check engine light came on until I went and got it checked myself he had only told me it was a speed sensor but there is actually two pages of codes that have popped up I felt like whites have tried to cover this up and push the truck onto me. On top of having to put $6,500 down to even get the truck. Made me sign up for an extended warranty on the truck and now I'm going to have to Fork out a pocket for lifters bad service all around I feel like whites only wants your money and not your service when you become that big of a corporation it's all about the money and not helping them a customer read more

Terrible experience! I scheduled to get my brake pads changed and was told twice it wasn't needed. Then when I called because my brakes started grinding, I was told that I had to wait 10 days before they could do anything and that no loaner cars would be available. The service advisor continuously talked over me and then hung up on me! I then went to Les Schwab and had great service! Unfortunately because Whites Mountain wouldn't change my brake pads or look at my car's issues I had to buy new rotors in addition to new brake pads. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

If you are thinking of buying a vehicle from this place you should be advised that there was a hailstorm on June 8 that damaged some of the vehicles. We were not made aware of this fact until we had test-driven the vehicle and had discussed financing arrangements. We gave them permission to do a credit check and while that was taking place the salesman handed us a form to sign, notifying us of the hail damage. They wanted us to sign that we were aware of the hail damage and chose to receive a discount instead of having the damage repaired. The thing is, not one word had been said about it up to that point! The damage was not visible upon just glancing at the vehicle but once we got down at eye level and looked across the hood there were multiple dings. Brand-new 2024 Telluride. When we asked why this wasn't brought to our attention we were told that it was covered in the "discount". The "discount" had originally been explained to us as their counter offer to what we had offered to pay in the beginning. We agreed on a price because we THOUGHT the vehicle was in mint condition. If they had simply been up front about the hail damage in the first place this could have been a whole different experience but instead we have decided to never purchase a vehicle there. Been a while since I was in, but at that time I was taking my truck in for some manufactured warranty work. These folks were extremely polite and got me through the manufacturer's issues with absolutely no problems. They even took the time to repair some damage that a local tire company caused do to negligence an really poor knowledge. Cost for repairs was very minimal considering the issues caused. I brought my vehicle in for a recall and to get a short tested out. Turned out it was a faulty module I bought from O'reilly auto parts. They spent two days diagnosing the ailment to get to that part. I brought the vehicle on a Monday didn't get any notices until Wednesday. They ordered the new module on Wednesday and the part didn't come in until Thursday of the following week. All this time I left numerous messages on the advisor's voicemail asking about the progress of my vehicle and never got a single prompt response. Finally got a text from him saying that they got the part in and would install it. Didn't hear nothing back till the next day (Friday). I was without my vehicle for two weeks waiting on a module! The frustrating part was they never bothered to keep me updated on the progress so I could make plans for alternate transportation. When I did finally get my vehicle back the dash was torn apart and never put back together! The new module was just hanging in place and never securely fastened. I was so pissed I had enough of the dealerships lack of service I just took my vehicle home and put everything back myself. Knowing it would be done right. If I hadn't already paid for the service I would've asked for a discount on the service fee. read more

What a disgusting experience. I pulled into the dealership looking to buy a newer truck. After several minutes, no one had even acknowledged me. Is it because I am a woman? Or is it because I was still in uniform? Either way I'M PISSED!! I tried to talk to someone at the parts counter and was told "someone will be right with you ma'am". After several more minutes, I was asked if I was being helped and I informed them that I had been there for a good half hour and barely been acknowledged. He asked who I was looking for and I responded "a salesman, ANY salesman"! I was told that he would go round one up and they'd be right with me. After a few more minutes I just left. I can't believe they run their business this way. One thing's for certain, they have PERMANENTLY lost my business. I will be talking with a dealer who will appreciate my business!!! read more

They lie and cheat to try to get your business. We were stranded 40 miles outside of Casper with a horse trailer after our truck motor blew up and I called several auto dealerships looking for a bed with a gooseneck hitch, when I called White Mountain, Chance told me they had a $50,000 truck and a $30,000, both of which had hitches. As a result, I told the tow truck driver to take us to White Mountain. After we arrived and the tow truck driver had left, Chance told us the $30,000 truck had no hitch with it so we had no way of hauling our trailer the 7 hours home, leaving us stranded and stuck at the dealership. Considering we were in a time crunch to pick up horses in North Dakota and left with no other options, we had to buy the $50,000 truck. Instead of being understanding and helpful, White Mountain lied to get us to their establishment then once we were there they knew we were stuck and took advantage of such. The whole experience was awful and made an already stressful situation ten times worse! read more

I got a quote from the body shop for a little more than $300 for some minor repair work on a set of door hinges. The manager inspected the door where I pointed out that the hinges were completely shot. (I showed him by lifting the door up and down a good 4 to 6 inches...believe me, it was obvious they were no good) I left the vehicle and later received a call saying the quote was no good and the actual repair would cost over $1,000. I told the manager that I would just come pick the vehicle up and he informed me that they had already changed the hinges and I would owe at a minimum, the original quoted amount. These people are crooks! They quote the job low, then try to bill you a high amount, all the while holding your vehicle hostage. I ended up paying the $300+ and picked up my vehicle only to have to make the repairs myself. I had to remove the door, pull off the hinges that they installed incorrectly and completely re-do everything.... I basically paid them for nothing more than holding my vehicle for ransom. I went in to test drive a 2009 Nissan Cube I saw online. When I got there I saw the windshield was cracked and it had black fabric interior. I told them I did not even want to drive it because of this. They said "WE WILL REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD AND CHANGE THE SEAT COVERS! WE WANT YOU TO LOVE THIS VEHICLE!" So I drove it, and made them an offer. I made them put INTO WRITING that they would change the seat covers and replace the windshield! I took possession of the car for less than 72 hours. They informed me they looked into replacing the seat covers and the manufacturer recommends they DO NOT DO THIS due to air bags. Now they just want me to bring it back like nothing ever happened! What ever happened to IF IT IS IN WRITING IT IS LAW on any legal document like a purchase contract? read more

Had an appointment for 8 am to drop off my truck to have a noise and vibration looked at from the front left of my truck. I had a similar issue in December which turned out to be a wheel hub bearing. I waited for hours with no call. So at 1 pm i decide to call to see what the hell was going on. The truck needed to be repaired that day due to me driving back to California the following day. I finally get a hold of someone in service and he throws the "oh i just got the update 10 minutes ago and was going to get in touch with you." So in five hours all his tech did was take a short ride and tell him it was just the tires, of course he couldn't hear the noise i heard the entire way out from California. I tell him i know it's not the tires because I've had the same issue and he says he will have his service manager drive it. So i wait another two and a half hours with no updates. Keep in mind the truck has to be fixed by 5 pm and i also left a voice message for the service manager. I quickly got frustrated and knew they wouldn't have the truck done by the time i needed so i went to pick it up. Upon arriving at the dealer i asked to speak to the manager being a very unhappy customer who didn't have their vehicle all day and no repairs were made. I waited 15 minutes and she just sat in her office. I decided she wasnt worth my time so i grabbed my keys to leave. The service rep then tries to tell me i need tires and an alignment. You just waited over 8 hours to tell me a repair you thought was the problem when i made it clear i needed the vehicle done that day. I won't ever deal with this dealership again, and to think i bought the vehicle there. read more

The service department is every bit as bad and dishonest as the rest of the dealership is. My wife brought her vehicle in to be serviced and told them not to worry about rotating the tires as they were brand new. When we went to pick up her vehicle they tried to tell us the rear brakes were worn out. I told them that's not possible as I had just done a COMPLETE brake job including pads AND rotors on it one month earlier. He asked if it was all the way around and I told him yes ALL THE WAY AROUND. He still tried one more time to spread the line of garbage and I told him DON'T EVEN TRY!! He let it go but it was obvious that they were trying to swindle my wife. They also tried to sell her a new pcv valve for nearly $250.00 which I found elsewhere for $30.00 and took 5 minutes to install. A word to the wise AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!! We will NEVER EVER recommend this dealership for anything. They are dishonest with their customers. We took our suburban in for service as they were recommended by people at my husbands work. We were concerned that our vehicle was pulling to the right and my husband thought it was riding a bit rough. They informed us we needy all new shocks a wheel alignment and 2 new tires. I encouraged my husband to get a 2nd opinion because I didn't believe what they were saying. Several people suggested Horizon. My husband took it to Horizon and it was a totally different story! All we needed was a wheel alignment and we choose to purchase two new tires. White's estimate was $1200, Horizon charged us $79 for the wheel alignment and the 2 new tires were about $250. That's $329 Vs $1200. Where's the integrity and honesty in ripping off a customer? I will NEVER step foot in that dealership as long as I live in Casper! read more

Not happy with the quality of work performed. Many issues after a certified GM dealership "Fixed" my vehicle. Instead of replacing turbo clamp on down pipe, they used a cleaner in my vents to cover up the smell of exhaust coming through my air vents. Broken wiring harness to ABS module was never replaced and caused my trailer breaks to malfunction and lock up. Could not diagnose cracked DPF and catalytic converter told me I had a tune on truck which was causing truck to blow smoke.(Truck has never had tuner or chip) After having the truck on the lift numerous times and not fixing a thing or finding a thing took it to Prazma and Second Wind Performance and I am finally getting the truck back and its fixed correctly! Just waiting to see whats next. Over 10K in unfixed repairs. Will never be back! Have a good day! read more

I scheduled my car to have some warranty work done a week and a half in advance. I drove 2 hours to get there only to be told that the only mechanic that can work on Subaru's is at school for three days. WHY WOULD THEY SCHEDULE IT THEN. The service was suppose to take 3 days, I was put into a rental car for 8 days, that was way to small for our needs. I was told during the first diagnostics that I needed the air filter, cabin air filter and the pcv valve changed . I told them to ONLY change the pcv valve. When I picked up the car I was told that they went ahead and changed all 3. ( WHAT ) I then asked WHY would an experienced mechanic change 2 brand new filters (1 day old) and then try to charge me for them. I never got an answer on that. I checked most of the auto places on line and found the pcv valve to run between $12-$15 which is typical . White's charged me $32.95 for just the part (WOW) Luckily my original problem was all covered under warranty. read more

Absolutely pathetic. I recently ordered a Subaru vehicle through this dealership. I placed my order on Friday April 25th. My sales person, Sean, told me that if I found another dealership in a nearby state with the vehicle I wanted that they could do a dealer swap so that I could receive the vehicle earlier, and then Whites would sell the vehicle that I purchased when it arrived since it is in high demand. Four days later I found two vehicles that I liked in Colorado, I sent both of the links to my sales person and he emailed me back at noon the same day saying he would speak to his 'boss' and let me know what was happening. I did not hear anything back from him. On Friday May 2nd I came into the dealership at 8 AM to have my current vehicle serviced and he saw me, he said that he was still waiting to hear from his boss and would contact me shortly. I did not hear anything back from him. I called the number on his business card on Monday May 5th at 1:30 PM to see if I could get an update, but he didn't answer and did not have his voicemail setup so I was unable to leave him a message. I tried to call back at 3:30 PM and again he did not answer. So I called the dealership and asked to speak with him. When I finally got a hold of him he said he would go talk to his boss right now and call me back in just a minute. He did not call me back, AGAIN. So I wrote an email to the GM, Marco, saying how frustrated I was and asked for my deposit back, he said he would give it back but thought he could do something to help. I gave him a chance, the next day he had a vehicle that I liked secured from another dealership. This was great news, but I had already contacted the other dealerships in Co to see what they could offer. One dealership in particular was extremely helpful, Mike Shaw Subaru. They were very quick to reply to all my calls and emails, something that Whites has no clue about. And they immediately blew Whites price out of the water. I emailed the GM at Whites and told him the price they offered me and asked what he could do, no reply. So I ended up securing the vehicles through Mike Shaw, and received my deposit back from Whites. Initially I didn't want to deal with buying a car four hours away, but with how terrible Whites was, it was more than worth it. I also purchased the Maintenance Package through Mike Shaw that included the cost of labor, so now when I get my new vehicle serviced at Whites, since it's the only Subaru Service Center in Casper unfortunately, they will make absolutely no money from me. You would think that when people are spending thousands of dollars at your dealership, you might take them time to provide a little bit of customer service. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more
