The food is always great, the servings are beautifully large, and I've never had a bad experience with them. They're so quick with the order too! I've been a customer for 17 years and embarrassed to say order here at least 3xs a week( daughter either eats pasta or Chinese). The last day I ordered was 10/10/25, the ladies here are amazing with customer service but on this day a man( husband probably) answered. I was calling because there was a mistake on order, I asked for the lady who took order( known her as I said 17 yrs. The man said why do I need to speak to her? I explained to him the situation and he started yelling at me(customer) who's a regular who pays an astronomical amount of money there. I'm not usually the kind of guy who tolerates disrespect but just hung up. Long story short I'll never go back no matter if they gave free Chinese food for a year! Exceeded my expectations! Definitely Chinese American food, with lots of sauce and the "spicy" doesn't register any heat, but this was Very tasty and hit the spot! We got Sesame chicken, Mar far chicken, and the Hunan triple delight, which had beef, chicken, scallops and veggies in a brown fish sauce. We are pleased with the quality of food and friendly service from our Chinese takeout "go to" place for the past year. The Luncheon Specials include a nice variety of selections -- chicken, beef, and vegetarian -- and the price of less $6.00 each is a good value. One of three soups or a can of soda is included with lunch. The vegetables are cooked nicely, and the meats are tender and flavorful. We have also ordered from the regular menu and been pleased. The Moo Shu was delicious and the Mai Fun as well. I order online, and the order is always ready as requested; there is even a place to record special instructions. Very efficient! There are tables to "eat in" if wanted. Parking is convenient in the Hannaford Plaza in Niskayuna on the corner of Balltown and Consaul Roads. read more

The worst food I've ever had. The rice is hard and tastes like water. The shrimp egg foo young tasted like wet salty eggs with flavorless shrimp. Orange chicken was insanely spicy and chewy chicken. I've eaten here 4 or 5 times in the past couple years. I only get basic food off the combo menu. I'm sure you'll see your favorite meal on the menu. I find it good, but I prefer Ming's pork fried rice and egg rolls. I dine in, usually before I shop at Hannaford. There always seems to be a brisk takeout business while I'm there. The food comes out hot and fast. Portions are ample, and prices are comparable. The dining room is clean. There's plenty of parking. Lady behind the counter is polite but seems too tired to be friendly. No big deal. Although I prefer Ming's, I'll eat here again when it's convenient for me. No complaints. Delivery beware!!! Undeclared delivery charge!! I recently placed an order for delivery and was concerned about the total it just was not adding up. After I receive my food in a proper fashion which I cannot complain about I reran the bill and added sales tax only to find out that there was an additional delivery charge for a dollar. My concern is all the menus for this restaurant say orders over $15 qualify for free delivery. My order was over $15 so I called and was told that all of the restaurants are doing the same thing and they just didn't want to update their menus; however, they would gladly refund my money for the delivery of a dollar. I took them up on this and received my dollar. I am not a cheap person I'm a man of principle and if I was told there was a delivery charge I surely would pay it; however, this type of business model is not welcome and I highly discourage any other patronage of this restaurant. read more

STAY AWAY!!! ... we should have learned our lesson the 1st time. Decided to try again after 3 years and now we know why we won't ever go back. Dumplings were gummy and the dipping sauce was bland, Lo mein noodles were way overcooked, eggplant with garlic sauce (this is why we decided to try the place again as no other local has it on the menu) ... horrendous AND who doesn't use Asian eggplant for this dish! Half-way decent food half the time. The lo mein is generally satisfactory. We order crab rangoons, and they are never fully cooked. We have tried ordering them "extra crispy" in an attempt to get cooked food, but the attempt always fails - doughy, gummy rangoons again... Every time we order, we say we won't order again, but we just don't have many other delivery options in the area - especially in the evening. So, we go back whenever we've had enough time to forget our prior disappointment, only to swear off the restaurant again. read more
