Omg super cute. We didn't try the "food" it's like cheez its and trail mix. This place is a total…read morebar. So first floor is a cute little intimate low lit place. Second floor is the event center. Third is the cigar lounge which is highly lit, Smokey and super sexy. Jack nickleson included! The basement is the speakeasy. That's where the loud music, (and less comfortable chairs than above imo) is. But hey! You went to a speakeasy and had a good time!

My husband and I came here for the first time last Saturday, and unfortunately, it was a pretty…read moredisappointing experience overall. The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

We had a reservation and ended up having a pretty solid night out. The spinach and artichoke dip…read morewith crab was tasty, though I'm not sure it's quite $30 tasty. The cocktails were spot on, and the steaks came out cooked perfectly. Most of the sides were great, though I'd probably skip the macaroni next time, it just lacked flavor. The complimentary bread with herbed olive oil was a perfect start to the meal. The pricing felt a bit high for what you get, but the ambiance more than makes up for it. Our server was super friendly and did an excellent job pacing the meal so everything flowed smoothly. The only hiccup was a water glass showing up with bright red lipstick on it, but it was taken care of immediately, no harm, no foul. Overall, this is a lovely spot for a fancy night out with good service. And don't forget to swing by the shop next door to pick up some top-notch olive oil.

I got the New York Strip and my husband got the duck, both were amazing. For starters we had the artichoke dip which was uncannily good, and the dessert (which we got for free for our anniversary) was simply delicious. The service was great too, very attentive server making sure our glasses were full and that our overall experience was great. The ambiance is very nice too, you'll get this cozy experience from the minute you step in. Totally visit this place, 100% recommended.
