Haven't been here in years and happened to be on the southside of town working on a project. Forgot they were open until 7 p.m. on Sunday, which is great luck for me. Reuben, the tobacconist on duty, went above and beyond to help me. All I wanted was a budget smoke to satisfy the craving. I purchased the Tapao Corojo and am looking forward to smoking it. The owners and staff have done wonder with the shop since I last visited. I need to stop by here more often. Great job! read more

I am very new to the cigar world, but Thomas has been nothing but pleasant and insightful in his efforts to help me break the ice with this new hobby. I have enjoyed every cigar he's recommended thus far, and the lounge experience and frequent flyers themselves have been very welcoming. Looking forward to integrating myself with this shop and its patrons. read more

Took 5 minutes to get attention. Out of water (I didn't get this either). Bathrooms behind locked doors, and once again, could not get anyone's attention. Who does that? Great cigar selection. read more

Great place. Met the one of the co-owners, he was very nice. Can't recall his name, even tho we talked for a few brief minutes. He as very open and friendly. The place has been there for 12 years, I was told. The door to the humidor is as aged as long as many of the cigars. It's a bit creaky and sticks. They have a local line to the left that are all flavored and infused to the left. Not my type of thing, but my wife likes the flavored cigars. The humidor is a bit small, it's in two parts, almost like they converted two closets in an existing house. Tho they are large closets. Humidors pumping, wood everywhere. Didn't seem to have the flavored smell of a humidor that other walk ins have, with the aged tobacco combined with cedar lined shelve and cigar boxes. I will say that the prices were actually quit nice. Some were slightly less expensive than the big chains like Cigar International with is able to spread the cost across other areas. Entering in, therer is the good smell of good cigars that are being smoked. There is a sofa in the main area, and I noticed in another room a lounge area. Not sure if that area is private or open to the public, tho it looked very inviting. Great place for great prices. The cigars appear well taken care of. read more

One of the few places to buy pipe tobacco in a real brick & mortar store! Good selection of tinned and bulk blends. And the employees are friendly and always willing to have a good conversation with ya. A lil pricey, but thats how it goes. They do have deals where the more you buy, the more discounts they give you, which I really appreciate! read more

I consider this the best humidor in DFW. And their prices are phenomenal. Great people too!

I don't live close but every time I'm in the city I drop by. Some nights it's really packed and the parking sux but to me it's worth it. Always been helped whenever I go. Not sure if management changed but it's always been a good place for what I smoke. That's my 2 cents worth read more

I've been coming here for over 4 years. I am primarily a pipe smoker and I have to say that this place has the best selection and friendliest, most knowledgeable staff in the area. Good selection of loose leaf and tin tobacco that they are constantly increasing. Good selection of pipes for all budget ranges, and a pretty decent selection of corn cobs. Try their own Kings Cask cigar, it's one of the best you'll ever smoke! read more

Paladin Cigars - Favorite study spot! - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

What a classy place! I went in to purchase a birthday cigar for my husband. I showed Matthew the photo of the cigar label. He said they didn't carry that particular brand but he said 'I'd like to give you this one for him to try.' He described and insisted that I take it as a gift (didn't even know I was buying a present). Now THAT'S customer service and kindness. You best bet that I'll be telling my husband to buy from here. And now I'll know that I can probably find him just hanging in the front lounge area smoking cigars with the other boys. read more

Very relaxing and well appointed side rooms or a more lively open front room to enjoy your cigars. Very reasonable prices and such a welcoming staff. Matt is the best host and I've held some very spirited but respectful debates with him. They host some fun social events with great drinks and food on occasion, and it seems like everyone who frequents the place is open to making new friends. BEST PLACE TO HANG OUT IN AMERICA!!!! The prices are from the 1980's the cigars are BADASS and the dudes that work there are kick ass. This is the type of place Mad MAX, John Wayne, and Optimus Prime would hang out in, if it was a Quarter back Troy Aikman would be it's name.
