Then she left us to choose our color suit. Once we got the suit picked, we were directed to the fitting room where the tailor took further measurements to adjust the suit to fit my fiancé (who is shaped like the lovable Po of Kung fu Panda right now. We're on the journey.) And then another gentleman showed us shirt options. We were in and out in no time at all. Very professional, attentive, friendly and helpful. The new tailor there ensured that I was completely happy with my alternations to a bridesmaid dress. It was about 2 sizes too large and very long. I even requested he had a pocket. I didn't stop in, but I kept it in the back of my mind. Fast forward two weeks later, I need an outfit for my office's holiday party. After going in literally every other clothing store in the mall, I remembered this place and instantly knew they'd have what I needed. It's safe to say that they didn't let me down. The staff in there seemed very friendly. One was in conversation with a customer, another was walking around steaming the suit jackets, which made me realize just how much they take care of their items. I also saw a man working in the back room on a sewing machine. This place is so cool, and has some styles that I have never seen anywhere else, like shiny spiky boots and crazy-colored blazers! I don't wanna give too many details about what I found, but I was able to go into the fitting room, try on various sizes, and get what I needed. They are open late hours, which is great, so I could drive over after work. Ms. Vera who ties the African head tie (gele) was amazing. She tied it in less than 15mins (and cheap) and was so sweet and nice. The store itself is amazing! The African print fabrics and gele fabric that I was were gorgeous. And the jewelry and shoes super cute. I need to go back to look through the jewelry and buy some. I also want to buy some of the African print fabric to get skirts and dresses made. They also had some read to wear African print women and men's outfits and the women's skirts looked super sexy and cute.
