This business has the rudest staff that I have ever experienced in all my years of service. When I…read morefirst walked into the store the old guy at the register did not greet me and continued staring at his phone when I came in and said hello. When I started walking around he started looking at me with suspicion and attempted to rush me out the store. I asked him if they had any headphones and he said no rudely and with an attitude. He asked me if there was anything I wad looking for and I told him with it being a thrift store I was browsing to see if there was anything that caught my attention. As I walked around and looked toward the front of the store where the gentleman was sitting, he attempted to rush me out the store again by saying bye before I was finished looking around. I asked him what was the problem, and if he had a problem that I was looking around as he seemed to have a negative attitude and demeanor towards me. He stated that he didn't know me and that he gets a lot of passerbys coming in, which I asked isn't that the nature of a Business. I then asked was he a public business. At first he stated yes, then as I proceeded to look at other items, he then stated he was a private businesses and that he didn't have to serve me and that I had to leave. When I asked him why I had to leave, he said he was not looking to get into a legal argument and that I wasn't an inspector or anything and he would call the police if I didn't leave the store. I said on what grounds would he be able to call the police on me. When I then asked him for his business license he then proceeded to come after me in a threatening manner saying he was calling the police. When I asked to take a picture of his business information, he said he didn't have to give me anything and that I couldn't take a picture. I then stepped out front and took a picture of the business and he then slammed the door and locked it on me hours before the store was closing. The gentleman was very unprofessional and I would advise no one visit this store. I also will be reporting the gentleman and store to the BBB. This is not the 60s where you can refuse service for your inherent diacriminatory racial, or age prejudices and hope this review serves as a warning for future business that look to operate in the public.

They have a solid selection of fixtures from every decade of the 20th century up to modern day--whether you're restoring a historic home or just want something with character, there's a good chance you'll find it here. Bonus points: proceeds go to a good cause, which makes shopping feel even better. That said, it can be a bit hit or miss depending on what you're looking for, and the pricing isn't always the best deal. Being the closest salvage store of its kind to D.C., the prices probably reflect the demand for historic renovations in the area. Personally, my favorite spot is Second Chance up in Baltimore, but I always swing by here first before making the drive north. Overall, it's a fun treasure hunt. If you enjoy digging for unique finds and love a little architectural history, this place is worth checking out.

Prices should already be lower. Not to mention you can't even ask for a lower price bc employees are trained to say they can't. So Mr manager...you're gonna tell me that a 5 gallon bucket of "recycled paint" at $95 is a good price? Gd greedy ass people. Bet the owner is driving around in a new $70k car
