Casey our server gets 5 stars. the place needs a good cleaning. so much dust on the light fixtures and the windows were dirty. Food was good, worth 30 dollar plates IDK. but the bar look like the place to be. I definitely come back for happy hour and hang out but for dinner no.

First time dining here! The food was delicious. However what stood out for us was that the only server that evening Bohden did amazing serving everyone in the restaurant! He did his very best to keep up with everyone's needs with such calm and poise. The restaurant was full too. I would return again just to be served by Bohden so I can give him another big tip! He deserves a raise for sure.

Excellent restaurant that surprisingly was completely devoid of patrons during early-prime dinner hours on a weekday. Do locals not know of this place? - Nice layout, ambience, not loud (maybe because it was empty?) - Great food - Good service Recommended.

First time here celebrating my Birthday, Food very tasty, servers are nice and friendly and attentive. The Brussel Sprouts, Bacon wrapped Shrimp and Calamari were very good! I had the Local Fish special which was Ono prepared perfectly with shoe string onions, fresh Zucchini's and Squash. Other entrees were Garlic Ahi, Salmon Piccata, and a Wagu Beef burger. Everything was very tasty! Talked with the owner for a little bit as we were on our way out. She's really nice! We will be back in the future.

We may have been the only ones in there for lunch, but that only means others are missing out. The sweet potato fries were fresh, crispy on the outside and soft in the center aïoli sauce they were served with was different but really good, that same sauce was served with the calamari. I was finally so nice to get serve the tentacles and not get rings! They were perfectly fried! The appetizers were so good I was almost too full to eat my lunch. The big plate lunch's are big enough to share and boy we should have. Caesar salad fresh and the dressing was amazing with a slights lemon zest taste, it was so good I ate the whole side salad before I even took a bite of my burger. The Kobe was Cooke well, but this is where they lost a star for me. I had to have my husband ask for some napkins because there was so much mayo on the burger it was all I tasted. My other friends thought it was melted white cheese at first. It took 3 napkins to get it off. I ended just taking part of the bread and lettuce off as my lettuce was soaked in mayo and eating it that way. The fish tacos were huge fresh and perfect! My friends just kept saying how good they were. Loved all the artwork on the walls and bar area was super nice. I am sure they get a good dinner crowd.

Ahi tacos hit the spot. Great portions

High ceilings, nice bar, good size venue with great service. Pricey menu but the food portions are filling and taste good. I tried the tacos and the Kobe beef burger. Both were prepared well and didn't take very long. Servers were polite and attentive. I'm glad I found this spot because I'll definitely be returning to the bar area for a date night later down the road

Very overpriced bland food. Service is alright and the vibe is kind of giving dive bar. Probably wouldn't dine here again.

Is this place any good my GF had a bad experience once and won't go back... help?

In the beginning, all of their food was fantastic. They still have some really good food and some great wines to go with it. The competition is becoming more heated in Kailua. We'll see how they respond. I'm sorry your gf had a bad experience.

I ordered the Teriyaki Flap steak 6oz with rice/vegetables and my friend ordered a Teri burger not on the menu but the waitress said it could be done as only had a Teriyaki chicken burger . My Teriyaki flap steak was okay (little on the dry side) but was tasty. On the other hand ..my friend's Teri burger was not what she expected as the burger was grilled but Teri sauce on the side . So was not like a grilled Teri burger which was marinated in Teri sauce . ( server did not mention this) The server was very nice and offered us a birthday treat ... Vanilla ice cream in a brownie in honor of my birthday. It was very nice to sit and dine comfortably and chat without being rushed. Absolutely blown away…read more This place was recommended to my partner and I by multiple people so we put in the reservation. Upon arrival, we were asked for a password (which he could not find in his emails hot fortunately they gave us grace lol) then let in. The place was simply lit and each table had a literal gas lamp lighting the space. On the second floor there was a man playing the sax. It was SO gorgeous, Our waitress was great, we were easily influenced by all her suggestions and ended up getting a great meal. We started with drinks. My partner didn't hear her say that the bottom of the menu was "spirit forward" and ordered a VERY strong drink. It actually made for a very giggly and eventful dinner so it was a very happy mistake lol. I got the espresso martini. It was a little creamier than I expected but still tasted really good! I'd order again. Our first appetizer was the Wagyu carpaccio- topped with cilantro (the menu said dill but I saw/ tasted none), fried capers, and caviar. It was surprisingly light and refreshing, basically a meat salad. A beautiful start to our meal. Our second (yes, second) appetizer was the escargot and bone marrow. This was our personal star of the show. A complete 180 to the carpaccio. This was rich, heavy, and decadent. The tomato added a nice balance of acidity to counteract the fatty bone marrow. The escargot was cooked perfectly, no chew but soft and buttery. One of the best bites of my life. The salad it came with was just we needed with it. After this, there was quite a wait until our main entree. A fire dancer came, and danced on the bar counter. I'd say we waited a good 20 minutes until it came out. But we were only impatient because we had plans after dinner. Our main course, which we shared, was the King Arthur- beef Wellington with a side of crab legs. The crab did come out during our appetizers which I appreciated. I only ordered this because I never had beef Wellington before and really wanted to try it LOL, my partner said it was better than the one at hella kitchen! The waitress also talked us into ordering a side of Mac and cheese, and thank GOD she did. It came out piping hot and saucy. There was a slight note of truffle, but it wasn't overpowering, and a nice crust of cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. You definitely get a bang for your buck. It's a hefty buck but it's so worth it.

Live jazz music was a plus. Food was really good, especially for the portions of it. At the end we couldn't even get desserts since everyone was stuffed but happy. Best dish of night would be the Black Truffle Risotto. We would definitely come back just to get this dish alone. It could have been a 5 stars experience if one of our servers didn't seem to rush things to clear up the tables. Got asked a couple of times if dish was done tho the person who ordered that was in the restroom.. and was asked to pass the utensils to her in not a very nice tone.. Our main server however was very nice and helpful.

I ordered the charred Caesar salad and duck fat fries. The charred salad was odd, I think I was expecting a light smoke but I guess they were true to the title because it was charred. My prime rib was the standard medium rare but it took some cutting because there was so much connective tissue that had not melted, the fat hadn't melted either. It was just bad. I asked the server about the prime rib and she said it's supposed to have a lot of fat because of the cut. Absolutely true, but it's supposed to melt not be huge chunks. It also needed the horseradish, it had no flavor otherwise. The server was nice and took half off the prime rib. The fries tasted like a standard fry I've had before, nothing special. I tried the lobster pasta my friend had and it was delicious, everyone who ordered pasta at the table was satisfied which is great but this is a steak restaurant. The server was really nice. I wouldn't come back even if someone else was paying. But my dog appreciated the prime rib I brought home, so I guess that's a win?

The floral arrangements, the décor, the attention to detail... everything makes you feel like you're visiting an old friend. I feel like Odysseus finally making it home to Penelope. And then... THE FOOD. Omg. Everything is delicious. I've been here a few times now and they have never disappointed. I absolutely love the roast pork, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Here's my completely unbiased (very biased) ranking: Petiscos - Kind of like a charcuterie board for bad bitches (i.e. me). 5/5 Sardines - 5/5. I use the sauce for everything. Cod Balls - 5/5. I would rub these on my face if I could. Bolo de Bolacha - Like tiramisu, but with experience. One of my favorites. Branzino - This fish is so soft and flavorful, and the salad it comes with is incredible. It takes a little longer to prepare, so order it first! Pistachio Rum Cake - Also one of my favorites. I genuinely can't choose. It's buttery, delightful, and just the right amount of sinful. Pastéis de Nata - A classic for a reason. The best custard tarts you'll ever have. I could eat one every morning with a cup of tea. Medeiros ʻOhana Celebration Cake - Chocolate. Cherry. Goodness. That's all I have to say. Arroz Doce - Think crème brûlée meets rice pudding. AMAZING. I've had it both warm and cold, and honestly, both are incredible. If you're looking for a dessert to take with you and eat in the car on the way home (because somehow you'll still have room), this is the one. Basically... just go.
