Her work was phenomenal and I wanted the same type of results and him and his team delivered exactly that. The consultation was done over the phone where Dr. Corey talked about my preferences and he discussed what he think might be best for me based on the information I gave him. I was very open minded with what I wanted and I made sure to mention the most important things to me; upper pole fullness and closing my cleavage was my top priority and I was flexible in the sizing in order for those two priorities to be fulfilled. He recognized off the bat from the photos I sent that I had some unevenness between the girlies and made sure to even them out during the final sizing. He was on point with the final sizing and profile. Throughout the call he was extremely EASY to talk to; literally felt like speaking to a friend. Never once did I feel like the choice wasn't my own nor did I ever feel like he was trying to steer me away from my choices. Many of my friends had experiences where other doctors were trying to convince them a different profile or a bigger/smaller size (a big reason why i didn't go to other well known doctors in philadelphia and went all the way here instead). Surgery is a very high commitment and it can be uncomfortable when your doctor doesn't really respect what you want, but this WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL WITH HIM! He was super informative, very respectful, and even funny lol. Despite coming from such a long way, the process was very smooth and they communicated with me how to estimate which sizes I would like best through a process called the "rice test". Even though I was weary at first, i can say the rice test is pretty accurate now that I am post op! It helped me picked the perfect size that wasn't too big for me but still noticeable. He is amazing and well versed at his job because he was able to suggest a couple sizes for me that I probably never would have picked myself, but it ended up being exactly what I wanted after i tried those sizes during the rice test. He considered my rib cage width, my goals and was realistic. I was weary about sizing and profile types bc I didn't want to look like the letter "P" and he did amazing at suggesting the size and profile. We quickly agreed on medium and 405cc L/445cc R to balance out my unevenness. His team was very communicative and even accommodated my request for an earlier surgery date when unexpected circumstances came up and I could no longer do my original surgery date. This team made me feel so comfortable and reassured me very thoroughly, even after I expressed that I was quite nervous as I have never had a procedure done before. I was literally a mess the night before because i was so nervous but looking back it feels soooo silly bc they took care of me so flawlessly. I literally came into the surgery center scared as heck but woke up painlessly with beautiful boobies LOL. The nurses, the anesthesiologist, the doctor, everyone was so friendly and made me feel more at ease before we got started. Even the recovery process wasn't too bad, Dr. Corey outlined what to expect for the next week and he was spot on. I followed his instructions and so far have no complications a week later (but I am a post op nurse, so I may be a little more familiar with post op care than others). Make sure to follow post op care instructions his team provides in order to prevent complications and unwanted results! Once again, Dr. John J Corey is extremely comfortable to speak to and I had an AMAZING experience. I got a bilateral Transaxillary breast augmentation and i love it to much! The armpit approach gave me no visible scars and anyone I've shown so far has been super impressed! My friends have gotten it under the breast and sometimes the scarring can be dark for women of color (I am asian) so I really appreciate that he recommended this approach to me. Ask more about this approach and whether if it's a good fit for you because it is amazing. The aftercare for this site is less tedious too! I cannot recommend this doctor and his team enough! In Oct. 2025 I called and…read morerequested an appointment with Gawley and was told that I would have to pay a consulting fee of $250 plus a $2,000 surgery fee if I wanted an appointment, even though I was a returning client. I questioned why I had to pay a surgery fee up front when I hadn't even seen him. She said that the fee was refundable if I changed my mind after the consultation. I have also been a skin club member of MD Skin for the past 5 years. The next day I got a call from my MD aesthetician saying that skin club members did not have to pay the consultation fee. I saw Dr. Gawley for my appointment and decided not to have the $35K surgery and requested a refund of both the surgery fee and the consultation fee which had been waived. That's where the fun began. The next week I stopped by the office to check on my refund and casually mentioned to the front desk that I would like to make an appointment for a facial consultation. She said that they had just had a cancellation and that Dr. Gawley could see me immediately. He explained that he could not do what I wanted and was concerned that I wouldn't be happy with the results. So I decided that I would not have a $51K surgery that I wouldn't be happy with, and I left the office reminding everyone that I had not received my refund to my bankcard. For the next 2 months I asked for a refund of my $2250 deposit with no response except to pass me on to someone else. Then I talked to the bookkeeper who said she was not going to refund my $2250 and the reasons she gave made no sense. After several more phone calls, I finally talked with Kerri White-Singleton who said that she was the CEO of MD Gawley. She gave me the same rude and pushy run around in a lengthy phone call in which she talked non stop until I said "Let's cut to the chase - are you refunding my deposit or not?" At that point she said that she would make the refund which I finally received the day after Christmas. My recommendation??? Stay away from MD Gawley Plastic Surgery.

If you're like me you probably read the most recent reviews and the negative reviews for most…read moreplaces, so I'll try to speak to what I've read in comparison to my experience. I'll also start this review by saying I'm probably one of the easiest patients any doctor will have to deal with - my friend is a plastic surgeon and have friends who are doctors that I can bother incessantly with questions instead of Dr. Admire. In regards to the procedure itself, I had a lip lift. I'll probably write a more in depth review about the actual procedure on Real Self since that's where most people go to look at results. That being said, unless my lip falls off or I somehow find out Dr. Admire likes to kick puppies in his free time, I don't see my five star review changing any time soon. First off, everyone I worked with was amazing. Brittany, the patient coordinator, who you'll start off with first, was great. She reminds me of me working with customers in sales - you can tell she's genuinely excited for you and believes in the work Dr. Admire does. I can see if you're from the East coast or are more reserved, this probably comes across as insincere or sales-y, but it's just how some of us are! For people upset that you work primarily with her and Ashley - I promise you that you don't want any doctor going over paperwork or the minutiae with you. Next, you'll meet with Dr. Admire. I didn't feel like he rushed me or was impatient with any questions I may have had. That being said, you're probably looking at a MAJOR procedure if you're meeting with him. I would expect that you've done some research in to the procedure itself and didn't just do this as a spur of a moment type of thing so I can see if you come in like a window shopper, the doctor may be less inclined to spend additional time with you. I had researched different surgeons, techniques, results, complications, recovery, cost (shout to Brittany for ripping that band aid off and telling me right away how much it would be!) and had been looking at doing this for years. I also chose Dr. Admire because I wanted someone I could trust to take all the artistic/creative liberties with my lips/face and look at the procedure objectively. Anyone who's had fillers knows you get some facial distortion and may overdo it. Not something you want with a permanent procedure. The procedure itself was as expected (again, do some research and read different people's experience and also listen to your doctor on what to expect). The surgery center staff was super nice and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I was off my ADHD meds for the day and nervous and they were patient (no pun intended) while I was kind of bouncing off the walls. Also, pro-tip for surgery: always ask for extra blankets. I think I forgot where exactly Ashley, the nurse that works with Dr. Admire, came in to play. But she's great. Also genuinely excited for you and helpful with answering any questions and walking you through what to expect. Both Ashley and Brittany took plenty of time to go over paperwork and pre-op and post-op instructions so you never feel like you don't know what the next step is going to be. The front office staff is super responsive and helpful as well. I had a small snafu with my prescription the doctor wrote for me and they solved it in literally 10 minutes and sent me a text follow-up since I was driving. I'm sure if I had questions directly for Brittany, Ashley or Dr. Admire that they would have been similarly responsive and helpful. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better experience! So happy I chose Dr. Admire for my lip lift! Also - I'm two weeks out and it looks amazing! P.S. Download the app they have! Butchered and In Debt: A 3-Month Nightmare and for the rest of my life. …read more ​I am writing this as a social worker and therapist to warn others. It took me a year to choose this surgeon and follow through with it, I thiught about trusting him for a year, and it has been the biggest mistake of my life. I went in for a deep plane face and neck lift. Against my better judgment, I allowed the surgeon to talk me into an eye lift and fat injections under my eyes--a procedure I was petrified of and had literal nightmares about. ​Three months later, I have been butchered. ​The Eyes: My left eye remains severely swollen and has not changed in two months. There is a deep, "black" discoloration under my eyes that $200 concealer cannot hide. I am forced to wear glasses 24/7 just to look my clients in the face because the results are so disturbing. ​Nerve Damage: My smile, which was my best feature, is completely gone. I have obvious nerve damage that has distorted my mouth. The way I talk, speech, and smile..yiu can tell I have the nerve damage by just talking to me...devastating. I could have accepted that on its own but my God..I was butchered. ​Visible Scarring: While one side is hidden (the side that i part my hair on so it would have been hidden anyways!!!), the other incision was made past my hairline and is completely visible. I also have a quarter-sized protrusion on my temple that looks like a massive cyst. ​Poor Results: For a "deep plane" lift, I still have 2-3 ripples of extra skin on my face and zero improvement in my neck. ​I took out a $14,000 loan for these produces plus 25k....no joke..39k!!! And I got butchered!! I have been quoted 20,000$- $30,000 by other professionals.
