He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions with patience. It was clear how knowledgeable and experienced he is, which gave me a lot of trust and peace of mind. I actually traveled from San Francisco to Arizona for the surgery, and the entire team went above and beyond to help make the process smooth and comfortable. They were incredibly accommodating and supportive, which made traveling for the procedure much less stressful. The whole experience felt very professional and well organized. His office and team were amazing -- always kind, responsive, and truly available whenever I needed them. Knowing that the office was reachable 24/7 gave me a lot of peace of mind throughout the process. Everyone on the team was warm, supportive, and highly professional, and I felt very well taken care of from start to finish. Marcella the nurse was amazing!! I'm very grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering breast reduction surgery.

At the time, I was an uneducated teenager who didn't research surgeons. I ended up with implants that were too large and that I hated almost immediately. After 21 years, two children, and ongoing physical discomfort from the weight of the implants, I was ready to explant. Explant can be intimidating, as you're unsure about how much tissue you'll have left or what the results will be. For me, the added complexity of skin grafts and asymmetry made it even more daunting. I knew I needed to find the best surgeon possible to ensure I was happy with my results and that this would be my last breast surgery. I spent years researching surgeons, and although I always knew Dr. Robert Cohen was my top choice, I consulted with a few others. One surgeon warned that my skin grafts could result in severe asymmetry, and that the graft could even die. In contrast, Dr. Cohen's consultation was reassuring. He simply asked if my grafts were soft and pliable, and when I confirmed, he confidently stated that he could achieve the results I desired. His expertise and confidence gave me complete trust in my decision. Choosing Dr. Cohen was easy. I had followed his work for years and knew he was highly skilled, with a consistent track record of excellent outcomes. I trusted him to deliver the best results, and choosing him eliminated any stress or worry I had about my aesthetic outcome. Dr. Cohen was professional, confident, and direct. Two months before surgery, he drained my saline implants in a quick, painless procedure that gave me time to adjust to a smaller chest and get excited for the breast lift. Immediately after surgery, I was thrilled with the results. My breasts were round, perky, and natural-looking, with well-placed incisions that blended seamlessly with the curves of my body. Recovery was smooth, with minimal pain and no drains (unlike most explant patients). I had no complications, minimal bruising, and received excellent care and follow up from the nurses. The anesthesiologist, also Dr. Cohen, took the time to reassure me before surgery, which made me feel much more at ease. I'm grateful for his kindness. Dr. Cohen's staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and guiding me every step of the way (special thanks to Laura). I feel lighter, look thinner, and my clothes fit better than ever. My breasts are fuller and more beautiful than I imagined--several friends have even commented that they look like smaller implants. Dr. Cohen is truly an artist, and I'm beyond happy with my results. My husband agrees, saying it was "money well spent!" Choose Dr. Cohen--you won't be disappointed.

Doctors I've seen, I just didn't exactly trust they would do what I wanted and I felt like I was just another patient. Although, its something I've always wanted to do and it's still been on my mind. It was so important that I felt comfortable with whoever I chose, and I absolutely, without a doubt had that with Dr. Mosharrafa. He absolutely listened to my concerns, what I was looking for, and what I wanted to look like. He is so incredibly honest ( I inquired about other things as well) and he told me no on some things and yes on others. I also did an under-eye bleph with him May 2025, and now 3 months later, I'm healed and my results are fabulous. Also, why I was totally 100% comfortable going with him for breast augmentation. It's been about 3 weeks and also thrilled. From the beginning and post surgery. The staff is so so nice and you feel like the only patient. Even at my post-op appointments, I feel so comfortable, I didn't feel like I was bothering him with my constant questions and he would gladly spend all day answering them. I could go on and on. I definitely recommend Dr. Ali Mosharrafa and will see him again in the future.

In June 2025, Dr. Maffi performed a full lift, upper blepharoplasty, and browlift for me. Fully exhibited was their care, their talent, and ultimately their trustworthiness.

I've been a repeat customer here and previously had positive enough experiences to keep coming back, which is why I'm disappointed to be writing this review. I paid over $450 for BBL laser treatment with the goal of evening out my skin tone and reducing redness. For me personally, it was a lot of money to spend on a face procedure Unfortunately, after completing the treatment, I personally as well as others around me, do not see any noticeable difference in my face. I did not complain during the process, but after over a week after the procedure and looking at my before-and-after photos, I reached out to the business with my concerns that the reason I had this procedure was to wear less makeup now I feel like I have to wear more and redness is exactly the same as before. I was told that my results were normal and to dermaplane in a few weeks jf I still didn't get the results I wanted. I understand that results can vary. However, based on my outcome and the amount I spent, and the results I had compared to when I previously did it, I would NOT recommend this service here. I'll let the photos speak for themselves as to whether the redness improved or my skin tone became more even. These are all "after" photos and was told the spotting is "normal". I just expected after spending such a large amount of money that my concerns would be taken seriously and thought they would try to rectify the situation so that I would have less redness.

Hello. My name is Kristina. I am a 25-year old, pre-op male-to-female transsexual, and this review…read moreis about a Bilateral Breast Augmentation I received 09/25/2014. I started living my life as a female when I was 13 years old. I started psycho-therapy when I was 21 years old, and I soon after, started hormone replacement therapy. I was on hormones for 4 years before I decided to get my breasts worked on. since I didn't start hormone replacement therapy until I was 21, I had already grew into my body as technically a curvy adult male; and when my breasts came in medically, they were unsatisfactory. by unsatisfactory, I mean, they didn't carry the proper shape, and volume as most cis-gendered females breasts do when they go through puberty, and knew I needed to do something about it before I could actually accept myself for who I was. I felt like a girl, trapped in a now, deformed, and awkward body of a man. my aunt, Roxanne had seen Dr. John Bass nearly 13-years ago, and even then the results were immaculate, and they are still top notch today. I was originally seeking out a plastic surgeon that was more then comfortable working on transgendered individuals, and I discovered Dr. Toby Meltzer, a very well known, and only plastic surgeon in the state of Arizona that works specifically on transgendered males, and females a like, however, it took several months to even get an consultation appointment, in which you had to pay the consultation fee of $100 (at the time that I am leaving this review.) upfront. so scheduling and price were a major thing for me. If I am allotted a sufficient time to "marinade" on a large purchase, such as a breast augmentation, I will weigh the pros and cons in the favor of my financial stability. nevertheless, Dr. Toby Meltzer was too high for my budget (granted he specializes in transgendered surgeries, I can see why he would be able to charge a bit more) Dr. John Bass' fee was nicer, and though he wasn't skilled in transgender surgeries, the anatomy of the chest in male, and females are identical. I had my consultation booked with Dr. John Bass in a weeks time, rather then months out like transgender specialist Dr. Meltzer. my consultation was very thorough, and lasted 2-hours. I had an idea of what I wanted, but I am no plastic surgeon. I came in wanting to get an under-the-muscle silicone implant, and given my particular situation, I ended up getting an over the top of the muscle saline implant due to how Dr. John Bass, and Norma educated me on what would be appropriate for my situation. I gave Dr. Bass an idea of what size i wanted to be, but, i left it all in his hands to decide what looked best on me. He ended up trying 5 different sizes on me before deciding to sew me up. Very satisfied with the results with the size he came up with! Theresa, the receptionist, not only is fabulous to look at and very pleasant to be around, she was very professional, and sweet, and knew the ins and out of how Dr. John Bass operates. secondly, Norma, a very sophisticated, very, very intelligent assistant to Dr. John Bass made me feel very comfortable, and was really easy to get along with, and I genuinely felt they wanted to help me achieve what I was looking for ultimately. lastly, Dr. John Bass made me feel comfortable, and even though he didn't specialize in transgender surgeries in particular, didn't shy away from the project like many other plastic surgeons I have visited in the past because they weren't "skilled" for that type of procedure. I am to days out of surgery, and my breasts look amazing. Dr. John Bass is very talented, educated, knowledgeable, caring, down-to-earth, factual individual, and is a true artist as what he does. Dr. John Bass will in the future, forever have my business as long as he practices medicine, and I would highly recommend him to any of my family members, friends, and colleagues, hands down when it comes to a reference for a phenomenal plastic surgeon that does incredible breast augmentations. also, If you are a trans-female, please go see him. I think, from speaking to Norma, that I was his 3rd trans-female subject, and his work is incredible. you get top of the line results without burning a hole in your pocket. my individual fee was $6,114.00 for a saline implant -- to give you an idea. thank you, Norma, and Dr. Bass for everything you have done for me. I owe you everything! I am one satisfied patient of yours.

In 2017 I made the worst decision of my life and chose to get breast implants. I went with a older…read moresurgeon who had good bedside manner. I thought I was making the right decision by choosing him. When I came out of surgery I discovered that he went over the muscle when most surgeons go under the muscle to prevent discomfot and encapsultions. I also discovered that he removed two moles on my stomach without consent so I could be (in his words) "bikini ready." Two days postpartum I judt didnt feel right. I called my surgeon and told him I didnt feel like myself. He told me it was called "boobie blues" and that I was coming down from the medications that I was pumped with while under anesthesia (fentanyl!). A week in I noticed my boobs were completely numb nipple down. He explained this was normal and feeling would come back within a few months (6 years later they are still numb). Since 2017 my symptoms have progressed. My boobs hurt 24/7 due to just thin skin holding up 375cc's. I started getting crippling anxiety 6 months in. Anxiety so bad that my body would shake while talking to even friends or family I was close with. Along with pain and anxiety came - thyroid imbalance (I now have to take a medication daily since shortly after surgery), hair loss, memory loss, absence/disconnectment/psychosis, constant fatigue, monthly sinus infections, random tongue swelling, reduced oil production on face and scalp, weight gain/swelling, body aches/joint pain. EVERYDAY for 6 years I have been experiencing these symptoms. I feel lost, I feel hopeless, I feel stuck. I carry around an epipen for fear of my life when my tongue swells and my throat closes. My left breast has been trying to encapsulate since the year it was put in. I went in to the surgeon over SIX times telling him I could feel and visibly see what feels like a bump or ripple on two spots of my left implant. Each time he squeezed my boob Incredibly hard until you would hear a "pop" which is tearing the scar tissue around it. One of the times they recorded it on their iPad so they could show my husband how to do it at home. I left each time with fingerprint brusies from him. The final time I went in for this reason my husband demanded he wrote an order for a MRI. He wrote the order but refused to pay for it. So no idea what's going on in there. Fast forward to 2020 during quarantine - his assistant messaged me and asked if she could send the video of him squeezing my boob to another patient of theirs who was having the same problem. I told them absolutely not!! I have researched hundreds of surgeons to have a total explant removal along with a full capsulectomy. The cost is more expensive then what I paid to have them put in. Getting implants have been the worst decision of my life and I will stop at nothing to get them removed. I have 2 young boys and am self employed. I feel like ive lost 6 years of my life and I am terrified to lose more. I even started an anti depressant this year and have tried Nutrafol and many other vitamins to help my hair and body heal. My hair comes out in handfulls. I have hated my implants since the day I got them and I wish I could go back in time.
