Aside from the great soups they also make fantastic rolls. Being from the Philly area and being used to good hard rolls, it's been tough dealing with bread out here, nobody appreciates that you're supposed to have a good crust on it. Hopefully they start making sandwiches here too.

I tried the brown stew chicken (small portion) with a side of festivals and plantains. The chicken was nice and juicy. It came in nice portion as well, and it was not too boney either. It was piled with warm spices that made the entire meal feel homey. I believe the business is owned by a son and mother, after all. Fantastic texture, that was fall off the bone. You get 2 sides with the order. I never tried festivals before and didn't know what they were before I tried them here. Festivals are essentially a type of bread, like a bread stick. It was decent, kind of chewy, but I probably wouldn't order it again if I ordered again. The plantains were pretty good though. I've had better ones before but these were nice. So what sweet and had a nice enough texture. The meal came with rice and peas, which were delicious. It goes perfectly with the juicy chicken and leftover sauce. All in all, a good place to order Jamaican food. There aren't too many places that serve this cuisine in the area, so always nice to have a delivery option like this one. You can also order on the phone I believe, or through Uber Eats. Great chicken especially.

They have cornmeal on the bottom which I think is why the texture is so good. The lox was a miss for me, buttt take that with a grain of salt. I'm weird about fish and it doesn't take much for me to get freaked out by it. I prefer my lox bagels with very little lox and mostly crunchy veggies and cream cheese. So you definitely get a good amount of lox for what you pay for. I liked the arugula. It added a good lemon and peppery taste that elevated it. The cucumbers were sad :/ they looked like pickles and they were thin. And there were a few pieces of lox that had grey parts which is what freaked me out. Their cream cheese is for sure homemade which I appreciate! Nice pieces of veggies in the veggie cream cheese. The texture is so interesting. Super smooth and thin. Uncertain how I feel about it, but I'm definitely looking forward to going back and trying their hot sandwiches. I also like how the sandwiches come with coffee as their prices are on the higher end. The inside is bigger than expected with a good bit of tables and we got our sandwiches quickly. But yeah, best bagels around, like Pigeon bagels level
