Coming from the states, we wanted to dine anywhere other than an American chain. We loved the name and were down for peruvian so we ubered here for dinner after shopping at the outlets. Staff were warm and welcoming. We ordered the pulpo octopus, ceviche de pescado, and arrow con mariscos to share among 5. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We also tried their chicha mirada, corn drink that tasted like hibiscus and salted plum. All the flavors complimented each other well. This place was definitely a hole in the wall restaurant in the Niagara Falls. Worth a try!

Everything was delicious! My wife and I went in during the afternoon and it wasn't very busy so the food came out super fast! I ordered an empanada and it was delicious. For my main entree I ordered the Aji De Gallina which was pulled chicken over rice covered in a cream sauce. It was incredible. Definitely coming back to try other stuff.

Overall rating: 4/5 Food: EXCELLENT. Served hot and all well seasoned. The beef empanada was available for my appetizer choice, and it was delicious. The meat was moist and the flakiness of the dough was great; it wasn't dry at all, which is a major risk of empanadas. The arroz con pollo was jam packed with flavor, but the portion was a bit much. I wish I knew how large this plate was so I could expect to share it. I also wish that more than two pieces of chicken breast were in this meal! The chicken skewers were delicious -- cooked to perfection and divine with that spicy reddish-pink sauce!! The potato? Don't get me started on its method of cooking -- I think the potato was the star of this show! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I've never had a potato like this. Service: WOW. The folks at Fork you are great at what they do. From the moment we walked in, they shared the Peruvian culture and hospitality, it seems. So warm and helpful, and very genuine. This also makes it a restaurant worthy of returning to. One of the best service experiences I've ever had. Ambiance: The cultural decor and Latin music in the background make the perfect setting for this dining experience. It felt like a cross between a hip restaurant and someone's well decorated/modern dining area. Love it!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend not leaving Niagara Falls, Canada without dining at Fork You!!! This place is definitely a gem .

Oh no! Am I becoming a Peruvian food Snob (or harsh critic)?! OR have I already become one...?! Peruvian is one of my top favorite cuisines off my ever changing palette... I take every opportunity to indulge in Peruvian eats when I get a chance... We came here on a Thursday evening for dinner. It wasn't crowded when we got there. However, the dinner crowd started trickling in...it got busy after we arrived. The food took a while to come out... which I thought was bizarre, since we beat the crowd and placed our order before more patrons arrived. In fact there were other tables that arrived after us that got their orders before us, I'm guessing there was a mix up or misplaced orders. The owner / chef acknowledged the delay and apologized. The rest of the staff were pleasant, looked like the were running around...stretched a bit thin. #PeruvianEats: ~ TIRADITO - 3/5 This was on was OK, lacked a variety of fish. Still tasty. The presentation was eye catching, but I had much better. ~ AJI DE GALLINA - 4/5 A solid Aji de Gallina. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was very good. ~ LOMO SALTADO - 2/5 This was no bueno. While the flavor was there the Beef was overcooked; Chewy and tough. Also they skimped on the beef as well. Sad little strips. ~ PESCADO A LO MACHO - 4/5 This was pretty good. A decent amount of seafood served in a tasty savory sauce. A solid 3 *** I wouldn't go out of the way to come here.

If you're within an hour of Fork You, it's worth a try! It embodies what it means to have a restaurant transport you to another place. Don't be thrown off by the cheap motel it's located in. The food was phenomenal, the service was great, and it is an all around grand slam. I had a special called Tiradito that was similar to ceviche- acidic fruity citrussy sauce, raw fish, corn, veggies. It was ever so slightly sweet, acidic, while packing those flavours. I'll totally go here again as soon as I'm in the area! I also got the churros and those were to die for

The first thing you notice is the service here. The people know their menu very well, it feels like they are all family. It's a very cozy small business where the owner is there herself and the staff all are quite friendly and attentive to your needs. I wanna say that this is mostly why I'm giving the place a 4 star, the service is definitely an important factor when you go somewhere and theirs was 5 star service and friendliness. The ambiance is a quaint caffe and they have live entertainment sometimes, we actually just missed it, they were setting up to play as we were leaving. So I forgot to take a picture of 2 out of 3 of my favorite food items here. But my favorite items here were not really main Peruvian dishes unfortunately . I liked the poutine, they called it salchi papás to try and make it seem traditional, but I'm familiar with the ordinarily and traditionally plain dish of salchi papás and it normally doesn't taste good like this haha. They also had gravy and cheese curds on it, so let's be real for a second, it's a Canadian poutine that they put sausage on top of. So I'm not really counting this as one of the Peruvian items I had here. I loved the yucca fries (forgot to take a pic of it unfortunately). They actually cut and prepare the yucca fries from scratch and you can tell! But, they serve it with a sauce that no one at the table liked, luckily they do have a sauce there that's not usually meant for the fries but everyone did love, I forgot the name but it was a spicy creamy looking sauce and we loved it so much we kept ordering more and using it on everything. Now moving on to what I didn't like: The empeñada had powdered sugar on it.... Ummm, not sure I've ever seen that before but it wasn't good with it. I went ahead and wiped the remaining sugar off the un bitten parts and dipped it in spicy sauce that they had, and we both enjoyed it after that. The lomo saltado. This part was disappointing because we usually love this dish at Peruvian joints, it lacked any noticeable flavor. So we had no choice but to add the one sauce we loved, yeah you guessed it, the spicy sauce lol. It actually went well with so many of their dishes, and it made this one good enough to enjoy once we mixed it with the sauce it came in. The fries on the side of it were good. The cocktails were decent, nothing to write home about but good enough to drink and even to order more.

So I know there are lots and lots of options closer to the Niagara Falls if you go over to visit, but much closer to the US border crossing is this Peruvian spot. We were seated immediately upon arrival on a sunset early afternoon without a reservation. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the lomo soltado which was both tasty and filling. Also had the salchipapa --poutine with a Peruvian twist which came with some sausages in it, super tasty. Note that you'd have about 20% up charge if you try to pay with USD notes instead of Canadian dollars, despite how close it is to the border. I recommend you stop by if you want to vendor off a little from the touristy crowd and get a little more of a non-chain food option in the area.

Interesting pun name aside, had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. Situated next to a hotel and there is a small lot for parking. Very friendly and hospitable staff. Option for both indoor and outdoor seating, fairly clean and well kept. Seems there is live music outside too. The food was "forking good" and authentic. Went with a chaufa seafood fried rice (Chinese Peruvian fusion). Plenty of flavor without being overbearing, good portions and generous amount of seafood. Definitely would return if I find myself in Niagara Falls again.

I hate do ding any place a star because of the wait staff. However the food my husband had was amazing...mines was never put in. Even tho the waiter took my order with my husband and even repeated it back to me. When my hubbies came out I was like oh maybe mines took longer....when the waiter came back and asked if I wanted anything I was livid. I was also very hungry, what is making me ding this place a star is rather than him saying it was his fault he told the head waitress "oh they didn't put it in together" bruh! We are together how could we not have placed the order together c'mon on man. We had a bunch of other things to do and at that point I was ready to go. My food eventually came and I barely ate it , we had to get going. I would go back and I would recommend just verify with the younger one...the order and make sure he put them both or all in.

Located in the heart of a busy tourist area, this place is clearly a gem for the local community. There was a nice mix of tourists (like us) and locals. After we sat down, the chef welcomed about half of the customers who came after... with hugs. They chatted like old friends before he went on stage and did a quick number with the band. The 4 of us went for dinner here. The chef greeted us by the door and let us know that the restaurant was getting busy and the food may take about 30 mins. We were in a hurry so we hesitated and he said they would try best to move things along... and he kept his word. Without making us feel rushed, he sent our waiter over right away and I'm pretty sure he told the kitchen too because our food came out pretty fast. I enjoyed my food, especially the fried rice, but the rest of the crew wasn't as impressed. I ordered a seafood dish with mussels and they were undercooked but the rest was cooked well and the saw was good. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot the one dish we were all looking forward to trying so that was disappointing. We also forgot until the check came out so there was that. We ordered fried yucca and I thought the portion was a bit small. The main dishes had much bigger portions. Yes only 3 stars but I would go back to this place. Great vibe, friendly service, and the food is good, I'd say.

We stopped there for lunch on our way to the Butterfly Conservatory, mainly because of the nice reviews on all websites. And the reviews were spot on! We ordered the daily special and the ceviche de pescado and the food was fantastic. The price was quite reasonable, especially considering how expensive food can be in the area. And the portions were generous. The staff were very friendly. The chef came to chat with us about the dishes. They are new and trying to establish themselves. If possible, please give them a try. I am quite sure you won't regret.

Food was excellent. The yucca is to die for. It just melts in your mouth...crispy on the outside and melts in the inside. The chicken was delicious as well. The owner/chef gave us a nice history lesson on Peruvian foods!

We were looking for a place with space for 13, and Peruviano delivered. The staff was exceptionally welcoming. On very short notice they reserved a group of tables for us, so we could sit near each other. The service was quick and gracious, even with the two middle school girls, cousins, who sat at their own table acting like middle schoolers at the end of a long day (). The food was delicious! We ordered a series of small plates and each one of them had great flavors. I particularly loved the Brussels sprouts, the tostones, and the ceviche. Cocktails and mocktails were also delish. And at the end of the evening the owner came out and chatted with us and sat at a table nearby with a friend. Bottom line: Peruviano was hospitable, accommodating, and served delicious, flavorful dishes. If I were local, I would be a regular here. Highly recommend!

They have large and small tables, as well as outdoor couches, twinkly lights, and an outdoor cooking / service area. We shared the scallops, beet salad and ceviche. All three were outstanding and super fresh. The scallops are to die for if you love garlic, scallops, butter and cheese. The ceviche was so flavorful and special - I loved the mix of textures. The beet salad was a nice addition to round out our meal. We tried the purple corn juice and a lime cocktail. Both were generous portions and very tasty. Our service was excellent. The vibes were amazing. We couldn't have had a better experience.

Absolutely amazing food!!!…read more This is a great new Peruvian place that opened up recently. It is authentic DELICIOUS Peruvian food served FRESH and QUICK ! I can't boast enough about this place. It is more like a fast food atmosphere but knowing how quickly you will devote the food, there's no need for too much seating space. Location: Mississauga. Located in a plaza therefore, plenty of parking. You order at the counter, they give you a number. You can sit, or order to go. They bring your order to your table. In traditional Peruvian style, they serve you a little bit of "Cancha" while you wait. (Corn sautéed with oil and salt , like a tiny snack but I love it!) I ordered Ceviche de Pescado. Traditional plate. It's Tilapia cooked in lime juice serviced with sweet potatoe, cancha, fried fresh plantain and a lettuce. Sooooo good!!!!!!! I'm drooling as I'm writing this. This was followed by Lomo Saltado. The most tender and fresh Lomo I have ever had!!! (Beef cubes) served with fries with rice. The sauce is tomatoes with onion, and it's a fusion because they add the soy sauce to it. This is also a popular traditional dish. For dessert we took some to go. Alfajor, (like a soft cookie top and bottom with Dulce de lèche inside. I think , I ate it to quickly) Masamora made with something purple that I cannot remember. Arroz con lèche (rice, condense milk, cinnamon, raisins, sooo good!) These two are supposed to be eaten side by side in Peru. We bought chicken tamales to go as well. For drinks we ordered Chicha Morada (made with purple corn ) and I think it was Maracuya or Granadilla drink. Either or, it was delicious!!!!!! Although the prices are a bit on the higher side for these places it is worth it! Delicious, fresh and authentic!! Post pandemic and inflation it is understandable. It's a family owned business and they need to open one up in Toronto. :)

Having been to the original El Inka location in Burlington, we gave their newer location in…read moredowntown Toronto a visit as we had a great experience at the Burlington location. This location was a lot busier and more packed compared to its suburban sister restaurant, and it was for a good reason - the food and service here were outstanding. Everything was delicious, and portion sizes were quite big. Reservation is recommended, especially on weekends, since they can get super busy. The place had an energetic ambiance as all the servers seemed to be always on the go, yet they were able to maintain an organized flow and excellent & friendly service. The outside patio was half covered, half wasn't. The inside had a somewhat open-concept kitchen. We were able to customize some of our orders to make everything non-spicy, and also got to customize the side sautéed vegetables to be just boiled / plain vegetables without the sauce (I remember them being very salty the first time we got them in the Burlington location) - so bonus points for that. Soon we could see why this place was always packed: great authentic Peruvian food (hard to come by in downtown with all the fusion twists), nice and attentive service, and the dishes came out relatively fast. Everything that we ordered was satisfyingly tasty: 1) Quatro Causas (Yukon gold mashed potato "cubes" topped with tuna, shrimps, octopus, aji amarillo, and lime juice) - Causa is a very classic cold Peruvian layered potato dish made with seasoned mashed yellow potatoes, yellow pepper paste, and a savory filling. Here at El Inka, they took a creative spin to the traditional causas by making them into 4 small cubes, each one topped with a different protein filling and sauce. Very pretty to eat. 2) Pulpo a la Parrilla (grilled octopus with asparagus, purple potatoes, radish, choclo, aji panca, chimichurri, and huancaina) - One of my favourite appetizer dishes here. I could taste the char / grill taste of the octopus - very tender without being rubbery, and I loved everything that it came with (the asparagus, purple potatoes, radish, and choclo). The huancaina (creamy, spicy yellow cheese sauce from Peru) gave it a bit of a kick, but it wasn't overly spicy. 3) Choros a la Chalaca (6 New Zealand mussels with red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, choclo, aji amarillo, and lime juice) - These were alright - the veggie toppings gave the mussels a nice and refreshing taste. 4) Ensalada El Inka (spring mix leafy greens, cucumber, tomato slices, red onion, avocado, and hemp seeds with avocado dressing) - Simple and a good accompaniment to all the other dishes. 5) Pescado Ceviche (tilapia, lime juice, cilantro, red onion, sweet potato, choclo) - Out of all the ceviche varieties out there, I like Peruvian-style ceviche the best because it always comes with sweet potato and choclo. Portion size of all the ceviches here was big - good for sharing. 6) Vegano Ceviche (broccoli, cauliflower, red onion, cucumber, red peppers, edamame, avocado, sweet potato, choclo) - I ordered this one because I was curious (never encountered a "vegan" ceviche before), and I just wanted extra broccoli and cauliflower. But there was more avocado here than the broccoli and cauliflower (only a few pieces). They must've used a whole avocado, sliced. The sweet potato that it came with added a nice sweetness contrast to the vinegar-y / more acidic rest of the dish. 7) Arroz Con Mariscos (Peruvian-style paella with octopus, calamari, shrimps, mussels, green peas, carrots, red onion, cilantro, aji amarillo) - This was favourite main dish at El Inka. Out of all the "Arroz Con Mariscos" dishes that I've tried at numerous Latin American restaurants everywhere, this was 'up there'. The rice was flavourful, the sauce was perfect (in amount and taste), and all the seafood varieties blended well together with the rice, creating a concoction of full deliciousness in your mouth. 8) Side Sautéed Vegetables - We were able to request customization of this to be without the sauce (just plain boiled or sautéed), yet they were able to make them still somewhat flavourful and still tasted fresh & crisp. This quickly became my favourite side dish. I liked that almost every dish came with some form of vegetables (even if they were just a bit of leafy greens, diced tomatoes / bell peppers, or red onion), and that choclo (Peruvian large-kernel corn) was present in every dish.

Super busy but we were lucky to get a table for 2 last minutes!…read more Food and drinks were delicious and we only tried their summerlicious menu. The steak was really good and they have many ceviche dishes. Would come back for their full menu.

We came here as a group of 10 on a Sunday evening and had a fantastic experience…read more My partner and I shared: - Alitas de Pollo (nice balance of dry and saucy, slightly spicy wings) - Ceviche Carretillero (my least favourite dish of the night as it was a little too sour, and the fried calamari was an interesting topping admist this raw dish. The sweet potatoes surprisingly worked well though) - Parihuela (not as well-rounded as a French bouillabaisse, but still delicious with a variety of seafood) - Chicha Morada (delicious purple corn drink) Portions were pretty large, so I'd recommend ordering family style to try a few different dishes. Food was not a 5/5 for me, but service was above and beyond. Upon arrival, we had given the staff a cake to serve after our meal for a friend's birthday. We had the candles in our bag, and were planning on pulling them out when we were done our entrees. The owner, assuming that we hadn't brought our own candles, went out and bought candles for the cake during our meal. We were stunned when we found out! They then portioned out the cake perfectly after we sang happy birthday. We also didn't realise we had stayed 30 minutes past their 9pm closing time, and they never nudged us to leave. It seemed like it was the owner and his father running the restaurant, and I felt very well taken care of. I'm already looking forward to returning to Pisac in the near future.

Came here with some friends after a trip to Peru. The food definitely brought us back, especially…read morethe chicha morada! I had to lomo saltado which was pretty good and the beef was very tender. The desserts of the day were lucuma crème brulee and lucuma cheesecake. I found the chocolate in the cheesecake to be a bit overpowering to the lucuma taste. The flavour of creme brûlée was really really good!
