Can truly never go wrong with any dish or drink here! Full of authentic flavour, good vibes (especially in the summer), and great service! The only thing to be mindful of is the wait as it usually gets busy at peak hours especially when the sun is out!

I had made reservations for a Thursday night and I regret nothing. The place was packed, but not crazy crowded. We were seated in less than 5 minutes upon arrival. Victor was our waiter and he was marvelous. The way he goes from table to table is almost like he has on roller skates. The lighting is like a hue of blue and a little dim, but enough light so you can see the menu. Very casual environment. You can tell folks come in groups and have fun there. Of course I had to start off the night with a margarita! I chose the blue one and it did not disappoint! So yummy! The asada fries were good. I really like their inhouse hot sauce! Flavor and spice and just right. My barbacoa tacos were absolutely delicious! It had everything I needed on all 3 of them. The side of beans and rice were just as delicious! And not to mention that it was birthday so they brought out a giant sombrero, placed it on my head, let me choose my dessert with a sparkler, and sung happy birthday! the only thing I wish was that it was sung in Spanish, but other than that it was awesome. My churros and caramel were the perfect dessert to end my night.

Food was great and authentic. Our waiter was quick and really helpful. The restaurant had a nice Mexican feel.

Ate here twice as it was a quick walk from the hotel. The food came out extremely quick and was flavorful. A bit disappointed with the alcoholic drinks (too sweet, and not very much alcohol?), but the non-alcoholic ones were delicious. Loved the 'side salad' with most of the entrees. It was very fresh and lightly dressed and paired well with our choices. I liked it much better than the salsa! As for ambiance the artwork inside is beautiful. However, we were there in the summer and the restaurant opened to the outside. Unfortunately there were quite a few yellow jackets flying around, even inside (to be expected outside.) It was a bit unnerving for some of our diners, but the meal was quick. Be mindful of the hours if you have kids 16 and younger, after 9pm the vibe changes (noted on their website.)

Review from an American... Pros: Service was great, the servers did well. we got the enchilada verdes. Super good! Nice and tangy! The taquitos were good as well. Guac was good. Margaritas were phenomenal! Jalapeno and mango. Definite taste the alcohol, not for the weak. Lovely atmosphere. Great decor. Con: the salsa tastes like straight up marinara. The rice was not good... Would definitely come again.

Vibes in the restaurant was nice. Cocktails tasted good and they also have huge sizes for their drinks, great for sharing. Food was okay. Service was good, staff was friendly. Would recommend making a reservation as there was a long lineup when we went.

This is a restaurant around the Niagara Falls area that is a bit overhyped. Inaccurate wait times and somewhat overpriced tourist trap are main factors for our subpar experience here. We went around 8:30pm (quite late) and were still quoted a 30 min wait which ended up closer to over an hour, which is not acceptable. We would've just dipped for another restaurant but there weren't viable options late on a Sunday, and I guess sunk cost fallacy. The food here is also not too good for such a high price - converting CAD to USD, the dishes here are priced at or above a typical restaurant priced in USD, indicating a tourist trap since the food is just okay. I tried the campechanos and enjoyed the mixed meat, and we got the chimichanga with barbacoa that is fairly huge but not too filling. For dessert, we got the strawberry cheesecake chimichanga that allowed us to be full. We got the 45oz margarita slushed and it was huge enough for 2-3 people to share. Service is just okay - a bit slow, even though most of the tables have left by the time we have seated. Overall, not the best option I presume.

This restaurant/bar has a really cool vibe. The decor is very festive celebrating Frida Kahlo and Day of the Dead (although the amount of light inside made reading the menu's a bit difficult). The servers were helpful providing suggestions and explaining the dishes. The taquitos were crispy and flavourful. The chorizo tacos were delicious. The chimichanga was my only disappointment, as it was primarily filled with beans and rice with barely any chicken to be found. The margaritas were close to perfection.

Nooooo! First blush- the ambiance is cute. The folks working here were nice. They have Sol beer which is one of my favs and hard to find at Mexican restaurants. Waking through, I looked at the food at others' tables ( not in a creepy way. LOL) The queso dip looked extremely thin. The quesadillas were also very very thin, cheese on the inside only. So I got back to the table and told my husband "let's start with some chips n salsa and give the menu a good look." His next words were,"$11.00." I was blown away. Yep $11 for chips n salsa. Who is doing that?! 1 beer each and we dipped out.

Food here was good. We had fajitas. The one we chose had chicken steak and chorizo. $35. It was enough for two people because it also came with beans and rice. But we had to ask for two more wraps. So each person got three big wraps. The place is not real big but it also has outside seating they set us outside but it was super loud The music was to loud. So they put us inside and that was better. The service wasn't the best but it was really busy in there it's right off the beaten path of the Niagara Falls area. But there's free parking in the back parking lot so that was good. The food came hot and it tasted really good so it hit the spot. My sister had a chimichanga with shrimp and she said it was really good. Everybody was pretty friendly and it had a lively atmosphere. The lady's next to us got the $35 margaritas which were huge. I guess it would be enough for two people. Overall it was a fun experience. Had some cool artwork on the walls.

Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

She was friendly, pleasant, and chatty. She definitely enhanced our visit! And the food was totally awesome! It was our first time having poutine and I'm not sure it was standard (it had shredded cheese instead of cheese curds) but it was delicious! Like really really really good. The burger was juicy and thick. The fries were totally yummy. Kid #1 said the chicken parm sandwich was good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak. The prices were totally reasonable, too! Definitely a bargain considering the decent price for excellent food! For sure we'd visit Cool Hand Luke's again!

You could see the frustration on the faces of the cashier. Perhaps they should consider handing out menus. The issue may have been the height and font of the menu I enjoyed my burger and my daughter loved her hot dog. The Cajun fries were spicy but good. We ordered a triple chocolate chip cookie. You know that moment when you walk into a place and immediately lower your expectations?…read more Don't do that here. At first glance, it looks like a basic ice cream shop that also happens to have a kiosk where you can order burgers, hot dogs, and fries. We figured it would be a quick, decent lunch before heading back to the falls. Instead, we got the tastiest surprise. These burgers came out hot, fresh, and perfectly smashed with those crispy, caramelized edges that make smash burgers so addictive. Then came the real MVP: the spicy Flip Sauce. I would happily put that stuff on just about anything. The rest of the family stuck with the regular Flip Sauce and promptly started dunking their fries in it like it was liquid gold. Speaking of fries, one order was plenty for our family to share--which left more room for ice cream. Because yes... they have ice cream too. Naturally, we had to "sample" it for quality control, and it was the perfect ending to lunch. My only tiny complaint? Bottled sodas instead of fountain drinks. That's it. That's the list. Moral of the story: don't judge a restaurant by its ordering kiosk. If you're spending the day at the falls, eat here.

(A particularly fond memory is sitting in the car with my brother after we had ordered through the car hop service at the former Granville House, listening to Dr. Bundolo's Pandemonium Medicine Show on CBC, and seeing the tray swaying up and down because we were laughing so hard the car was shaking.) That is, until I moved to Ontario, because White Spot is a B.C.-only kind of place. Since then, they have spun out Triple O's. You can find them in Alberta, Ontario, and even Hong Kong. Triple O's is a kind of mini-White Spot, but it's actually sort of the "best of" from the White Spot I remember: burgers, fish and chips, and shakes (minus the "Chicken Pick'ns", which, sadly, have also disappeared from White Spot's menu). White Spot still offers those dishes, plus a bunch of more upscale fare, and dining at White Spot is no longer affordable. Now, it's the kind of place you go for special occasions (unless money is no object). And, sadly, Triple O's is also at the top end of pricing for fast food joints. But still, for this homesick B.C. boy, chowing down on a Legendary burger took me back. It's still as good as I remember.
