Getting a response felt like pulling teeth, and when I finally did, it didn't even matter because the pricing was completely inconsistent. I was given a quote when I dropped off my items, only to receive an invoice TWO WEEKS later for nearly double the amount. No explanation, no heads-up--just a completely different price like that was normal. When I called to ask about it, the owner was shockingly rude. Instead of addressing the discrepancy, he immediately got defensive and accused me of wanting everything for free--which was never even remotely the case. Not once did he acknowledge that the invoice didn't match the original quote. It was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. To top it off, when I said I'd just come pick up my shirts instead, his response was basically "good," as if he didn't want the business in the first place. That says everything you need to know. Terrible communication, dishonest pricing, and unbelievably rude customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

She doesn't have malabrigo, because she understands the value of her shop space; she's using it to curate the finest selection of fibers and yarn bases I have ever seen and cutting out the yarns you can find everywhere. She's also has the largest selection of BIPOC owned and dyed yarns I have ever seen, if you're looking to support that! Meredith was super nice and greeted me when I entered but didn't hover over me and let me look around. If you actually look at all of the yarns she's got, be prepared to spend at least an hour in the shop. I took tons of pictures so that you can see what I saw-- a very finely curated selection of superwash and non-superwash yarns, hand dyed and local yarns, as well as some of the finest that Europe has to offer. She even has CaMaRose Snefnug, which I had never seen in a shop before. It's all priced competitively and the whole shop is decorated beautifully in a rainbow of colors. The lettering was extremely small (about the width of a finger), and the number placement was the size of my palm, positioned high on the shoulder blades and much smaller than expected. This was especially frustrating because the jacket already had existing custom elements. When my mom tried to take a photo of the jacket to document the issue, the owner snatched it out of her hands. The situation escalated to the point where she had to call the police, and a report was filed. The owner also refused to cooperate, stating he was closing and would not wait to resolve the issue with police. There were also multiple issues prior to pickup. The price changed three different times even though my order never changed. The owner later admitted he did not have the correct size for the lettering but proceeded anyway, which resulted in a ruined jacket. Eventually, I was reimbursed for the jacket only, not including prior customizatioafter an hour , but only after significant back-and-forth. Overall, while the stitching quality may be decent for smaller items like purses, t-shirts, or pillows, this experience showed a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service. I would not recommend this business for more detailed or important custom work.

They don't have a ton of large-format canvases, but there are some. Personally, I just wrapped up a belt project that took me...wait for it...20 years. Yes, two decades. I like to think of it as slow stitching, not procrastination. After finally finishing, over the past 6 or so months, I searched and searched for my next project and am a little bummed I didn't find this shop sooner. Turns out they weren't on Yelp. I actually stumbled upon them on TikTok, and in true enabler fashion, I set them up on Yelp myself. I had already bought my next canvases online, so when I came in I only needed all the fun extras to get started. Alice, who helped me, was fantastic. She set me up with the perfect thread colors, a needle minder, needles, stretcher bars and pins, and even a stitch book. Basically, she made sure I had everything except the snacks to sustain me through my next marathon project. And get this, they have in store classes too (check the website)! I'm absolutely psyched to go, because I could use a few tips to shorten my average project timeline from 20 years to less than 10. This place is such a great find. Whether you're brand new and "needlepoint curious" or a long-hauler like me, stop here first. You'll walk out happy, inspired, and probably with way more goodies than you planned. We used Icon Creative for about 8-10 months as a printing partner - running large 1000 unit shirt…read moreorders. Initially their printing and services were excellent - they offered advice, color matching and the end product was excellent. Over the 10 months their quality dropped dramatically - even with simple repeat orders. We had logos that were meant to be centered about 1-2 inches off center; print that was meant to be to the side of the shirt simply place in the center, skewed aspect ratios and incorrect colors - even though it was a simple reprint. The last order we placed had to be sorted through and we removed about 50% of the shirts as they were misprinted. Initially the company offered compensation for the previous order and store credit, but the last shipment we received radio silence and no offer of compensation or refund. In talking to them on the previously bad run, they mentioned changes in operations and issues they were trying to iron out... seems like it's just getting worse. Try them if you want to take the risk - their pricing is good and they have the potential - but it's a big risk.
