I had a really stressful week at work and I explained to her how much pain and ache I was feeling and after I left the spa. It was night and day! She explained to me different at-home Methods to try and alleviate my aches and pains, such as using a heating pad for 20 min before bed to help with tension. The spa is located on the 2nd level right as you enter the parking lot of the stomping grounds. I'm not sure if they have lockers and a changing room But they have a beautiful outdoor table to relax and sip drinks or water with gal pals or your SO. I also had a chance to meet the owner - Brittany (spelling might be wrong) but the entire experience from start to finish was equal to a five star luxury hotel spa but way more down to earth with extremely caring staff. They are amazing!!! The aesthetic, the music, and even the aromatics set the scene so well. Chill vibes all around. Definitely the best massage I have ever had! Instead of checking boxes like at a lot of other massage places, they speak to you about *why* you are coming in and what you want to get out of your treatment. Shonda (my masseuse) was very receptive and did an excellent job. I've had a lot of massages where there were some torturous parts thrown in unexpectedly, but there was none of that here! It was very relaxing the whole way through, and really helped to work out a lot of the tension in my back and hips. She even gave me a small recap about problem areas and what I need in the future. Afterwards I got to experience a salt treatment in a sauna-type space, which I had never experienced before. They say it is great for breathing, the joints, and the pores. One small downside is that they do not have any slippers or shoes for moving between sessions. So come prepared to put your shoes back on. Overall a great experience. Called for a same-day appointment and the woman who answered the phone was very polite and accommodating. When I asked to confirm pricing from what is on the site, those are up-to-date and accurate. They are very easily located on Silber right after the entrance to the Edwards Theater. The lobby is clean and not dark and sketchy, with no cheesy music playing or blackout curtains. I went for the Combo #2 (80 mins total, 40 mins back/shoulder and 40 mins feet/head/arms) and Helen took the most amazing care of me. The pressure was hard, which I needed, but not painful; she truly worked on my issues and didn't just rub oil on my back. When we were finished, I got dressed and went into the other room for her to do my feet and I just wanted to sleep. She placed a warm therapy pillow on the lower part of my back and got to work while my feet soaked in a tub of warm/hot water. Helen proceeded to really work on my feet, legs, and toes! But only after she did a great job on my head (why do head massages just put me to sleep?) and then neck and shoulders and then placed a warm therapy eye pillow on my face to allow me to really sink into the second part of my appointment.
