My experience there has truly been life-changing. When I first came in, I was extremely unwell. My arms could barely move up, down, or in any direction without pain. Greg Scott has been my physical therapist for rehabilitation for my hip replacement. He has been so thorough and insightful in how he planned and conducted the rehabilitation, with a variety of challenging exercises which evolved over time as my hip healed. he made them so interesting and challenging that I readily did them at home and the gym. Greg's excellent skills and commitment to my rehabilitation resulted in a completely successful rehabilitation, and my ability to get back to all of my normal activities, including aikido, 2 months after I started. read more

A few months ago at age 40 I managed to tweak the muscles in my lower back. I sat up one day and they just started to hurt so much it was difficult to bend over and tie my shoes or get dressed. Luckily, my doctor prescribed me physical therapy sessions and a cancellation meant I got an appointment with a physical therapist for the next day. After a month of twice weekly sessions I am back to my normal range of motion and do not experience pain with daily tasks. Ana Miletich and Alex Thompson are exceptional physical therapists and the exercises they taught me help so much. I highly recommend this practice to resolve musculoskeletal pain. read more

I have been coming to forever fit at this location for more than 7 months for PT after getting surgery for my rotator cuff tear. I finally have my last session coming up and wanted to take a minute to write this review. All of the staff at forever fit have worked with me, my schedule, my preferences and more to accommodate and help achieve my goals. I started out with Emily, worked with Rilen (while she was there), and am finishing with Kat. All physical therapists have been great and although I haven't worked with some of the new staff they seem to fit the quality, welcoming vibes and pro-healing culture this location offers. Susan has been outstanding and accommodating with helping me figure out my schedule, insurance and more. The work itself is very beneficial especially if you are communicative with how things are going and follow what the PT suggests to do in between sessions because they will help customize a program to your needs. The entire staff is courteous, friendly, respectful, care about your healing and seem to really enjoy what they do...and it shows by the staff being involved with you and discussing physical rehabilation medicine and therapy, which they are very competent in. I would take off stars if I could find a reason to but I can't find a reason to! Highly recommended, a rare find. I am really lucky and feel grateful to have gotten therapy here. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. Angela, the billing person, wouldn't refund the overcharge they demanded I pay: I used this business three times in January. On each occasion, they insisted the copay was $50, I showed them my insurance card which said the copay was $15, and they wouldn't budge. After the third time, I called my insurance company. While I was on the phone, my insurance company called them and reiterated that the copay was $15. They agreed to refund me the difference some time in February. When I called in February, they said the refund would be in March. When I called in March, they said it would be in April. During each of these calls, they said they send refunds only once a month, and they wouldn't tell me which day of the month that was, so in effect I had to wait until the end of the next month before I know whether they have ignored me again. When I called in May, they said they would reimburse me when they got around to it, refusing even to commit to paying me that month. Maryland passed a law last year that prohibits companies like this one from charging a copay higher than one's own primary care physician, so their initial charge was illegal. USG has a law that stipulates refunds of overcharges must occur within 60 days. I waited more than 100 days before finally receiving the refund check, and only then because I filed a formal complaint with my insurance company who said they would go after FF. Physical Therapist: My physical therapist at FF, Alex, appeared to take delight when I had trouble with exercises and was disappointed when I completed them with ease. Whenever I did exercises in front of him, he remained glued to his ipad. He didn't watch what I was doing, and never suggested corrections to my form. In sum, both the PT itself and the billing were horrible experiences. read more

I've been a patient since mid-January, Emily and the staff are extremely pleasant and supportive. I typically ask a lot of questions to understand the mechanics and everyone is very knowledgeable and easy to converse with. I have struggled with giving myself grace during my recovery however every time I finish a session I'm encouraged by my progress. I still a little ways to go before I'm back to pull-ups (lol) but I'm g confident it will be very soon! read more

Sara Richeson Harris is so personable and knowledgeable and I really appreciate that she doesn't dumb down her explanations. I've worked with other PTs for other injuries and Sara has been far none the best. Since I had my kid about 3 years ago, I've had chronic back pain that got worse as my kid got bigger. I started working with Sara late last year and my lower back pain has improved so much! Unfortunately, Iife got busy and I ended up not seeing her for a month and my pain came back. I thought that I had to suffer on my own indefinitely but Sara is now available online and I'm so relieved. She was able to walk me through the online evaluation (need video and audio) and exercises to help me get back to pain relief management and posture correction. Of course I'd love to have an in-person session but it will have to be telehealth sessions going forward for the indefinite future. I'm very grateful that my insurance will cover telehealth sessions. I slipped in the tub over 50 years ago and sitting never quite felt the same since. I got used to it and became a professional dancer despite it. I didn't know much about pelvic floor physical therapy but I was eager to try it. Now, I realize that the bones in our pelvis are more mobile than I ever imagined. These treatments fixed the problem and many more. I am 100 % better and completely pain free. My physical therapist, Michelle Price, PT, DPT is wonderful!! She is gentle and kind and she explained everything thoroughly before and during the treatments. Michelle patiently listened to me and she was remarkably intuitive about why I had a certain problem and what was needed to fix it! I was 100 percent committed to my healing. And I felt like an active participant in the entire process. I did my exercises faithfully and together we taught my body how to hold itself correctly again. What is even MORE amazing is that Michelle showed me how to keep my pelvis properly aligned. So, when I feel something is shifting, I can fix it. The title of this place is "Forever Fit" but that is more than a slogan, it is a mission statement. The entire staff is warm and friendly and the decorations are delightful! read more

Dr. Michelle Price was great! She started with me months ago when I could only barely walk with a cane or walker. She was extremely knowledgable and caring. I appreciated her follow ups, and continued care. Michelle made me feel comfortable coming in to the office. This is a first rate PT clinic - the staff is all top notch led by Sara Richeson Harris who is AMAZING! They really listen, work with you, push you and send you home with tools to use in your day to day life. I started with Sara Richeson back in November 2014, when I had my first back. The surgery I had was T10 - T11 herniated disk impeding on the spinal cord. I was told it would take me 2 month's to get back to work and she was right and I rated her 5 stars than and then I worked with her again in November 2015 for another surgery on L2 - L3. She got my back to where I can work again And I rated her another 5 stars then. I had another surgery on my rotator cuff and she is get me back to normal again. Sara is the most amazing PT! She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, detail-oriented, thoughtful, and communicative. I had only had 1 other physical therapist/therapy experience prior to Sara and Forever Fit, and I didn't realize HOW much I was missing until I switched to working with Sara. She always explains not only what she's doing but why -- what its purpose is anatomically, why it's beneficial for my particular issue, even what's happening at the biochemical level (granted, I'm an RN, so she may not be *as* scientific with everyone, but I very much appreciate her using language that clients understand and meeting them at their level; she seems to find the perfect balance between using professional language and ensuring that it's language the client understands). She also frequently has PT students who can be very helpful with teaching exercises, and it's interesting to hear Sara impart her expertise on them. Her knowledge base is remarkable! I chose to switch my PT from a place in DC that I'd been going to for a little over a year mostly because COVID shutdowns had begun and I needed to do PT somewhere in my neighborhood within walking distance. I had a sense that I wasn't gelling with my PT in DC anyway, and I had just received actual MRI findings that the glut/hamstring pain I'd been getting treatment for for over a year was actually due to a herniated lumbar disc. What better time to start fresh at a new place. I am SO thrilled that I chose Forever Fit in Downtown Silver Spring and was assigned to work with Sara. She used so many new and different strategies and exercises with me than what I'd been doing previously, and they were so much better! I ended up having surgery after 5-6 months of us working together, so she has seen me through pre- and post-op lumbar discectomy. I trust her with my life. On top of everything, she is also very emotionally supportive (I've had a few little mini-breakdowns there and always feel listened to, comforted, and supported). The office is very clean and highly COVID-conscious. The scheduling and front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about this practice and Sara. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this group. Sara Richeson is the dream therapist--so attentive, professional, expert. She is Boston and New England-trained with a doctorate in physical therapy, and I give points for medicine in that region of the country, knowing first-hand that the standard is higher. I went to Sara for therapy post-Achilles tendon repair with reattachment at the calcaneus. Not the usual spot, but Sara has a lot of experience with feet and ankles (she was herself a gymnast in need of surgeries about a dozen years ago), and in all honesty, even with a complicated recovery, and poor wound-healing due to corticosteroid use and immunosuppression my ankle is better than ever. One year on from the initial injury, I am back to walking, bicycling, swimming, running through airports, taking long-haul flights without pain or swelling. Even with reinjury (twice--some bad scrapes at the incision site), Sara's program for improving strength and circulation is infallilble, and absolutely tailored to her clients. To top it off, she and her team are so thoughtful and cheerful and smart. During a grim winter and trying spring (the worst allergy season I have ever experienced!), Physical therapy at Forever Fit was the highlight of my week. If you are recovering from an injury or surgery, coming to see this team is one of the best things you can do for yourself--if not the best. I recommend Sara and her team unreservedly. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Sara and her practice! I started going for some back issues and have already seen huge improvements after only a few sessions. She's professional, thorough, and I appreciate that she explains everything she's doing so you can understand why it's being done. My doctor had warned me that maybe I was one of the few people who Physical Therapy couldn't help, but I had been highly recommended to go to Sarah at Forever Fit and decided I'd give it one more try. As soon as I got there, I knew that this was the right place for me. Everyone was kind and welcoming and no time was wasted while I was there. The exercises were carefully and patiently explained and I followed their instructions and did them at home. My shoulder has finally improved and I'm back at my gym participating in classes again. I am a huge fan of Sara Richeson's. She treated my multiple hip and back problems leading up to my having hip replacement surgery. The exercises she gave me were smartly targeted towards strengthening me so I could emerge quickly and strongly from the surgery - which I have. She did a lot of hands-on adjusting - straightening my pelvis and my spine, both of which I had twisted over the years to accommodate leg length disparities and hip problems. She is knowledgeable and caring, respectful of the patient who wants all the information and details, and with a gentle but strong touch. I hope my body stays strong and stable for a long time, but if it doesn't, Sara would be my first call. read more
