Dry needling, blading, assisting your body to move incrementally with support, even massage -- they use a wide range of tools from their expansive toolkit based on what your body needs. I especially enjoyed the explanations from Dr. Ho to my endless questions about what he was doing and why it works. His mastery of anatomy, physiology, and PT was evident every time I went. With just a few touches, Ho could pinpoint exactly where my pain was and address it appropriately. 2. The support staff is competent, helpful, and friendly. Ora and Justin were encouraging and provided excellent guidance for my exercises. Scheduling and billing was easy and pleasant. His set up is very accurate for me and it takes little force by him to move things where they need to go, where I have had others unable to do so. About 2 years ago, I had really bad foot pain, it took several Piezowaze Therapy appointments to help finally fix it (about 6ish months of every other week appointments). And the pain hasn't come back ever since. When Hena was added to the team, it made this practice even better. Prior to Hena, Dr. Lee did dry acupuncture too but just a little bit and mostly focusing on where I tell him the problem area is. Now that Hena was added. It's not always focused on pain, sometimes if I tell her that my brain fog is particularly high that day or I'm having alot of anxiety, she is able to do certain acupuncture points that helps with that. One particular day, my anxiety level was pretty high, and whatever point she hit, I weirdly felt instantly blissed out haha. That's the first time I felt that with acupuncture. I was very relaxed that day. The blissed out feeling doesn't always happen, but I definitely trust her. She also introduced me to cupping and I am now obsessed with it. I never knew anything about it before, and it's crazy how much it actually helps relieve my back tension and how it detoxes the body. After her assessment, she assured me that I would be fine, and much sooner than I'd expected. While I was extremely relieved to hear that, I was worried that the process would be neither quick nor long-lasting. Well, it ended up being both. When I first began receiving treatment, I asked her if I'd be able to participate in certain activities 2 months down the road; after only 2 weeks of treatment, I was ready for not only those activities, but for any others that prior to treatment, I had doubts I would ever comfortably be able to do the rest of my life. I started going to Kaizo in Rockville about seven months after suffering a pretty nasty concussion…read more TL;DR: They have done absolute wonders for my pain, range of motion, strength, and ability to handle light, sound, movement and other stimuli. In addition to a lot of upper neck pain (which was caused by the impact on the top of my head driving my head straight down into my neck), I was also still experiencing major sensory overwhelm in my day-to-day life. The first time I came to Kaizo, I showed up with sunglasses on and earplugs in. I made them work on me in a quiet room with limited noise and lights turned down. Now, I show up and do rehab exercises in the main area with other people, music, and conversation before going to get the chiro work from Dr. Moore. I usually leave feeling refreshed and, often, a bit taller. I've been to many chiropractors in my life. I think I've had chiropractic adjustments from ten different people, some of whom are absolutely stellar practitioners. Dr. Moore's neck and back adjustments are up there with the best of them. Where he really shines, however, is the soft tissue work. I keep telling him he needs to do workshops for massage therapists. He uses everything from thumbs to elbows to various tools to work the muscles and fascia in my neck and really support the adjustments to "stick." He finds the perfect amount of pressure for the various techniques he is using, and he doesn't overwork the muscles. I've had a couple of adjustments from Dr. Noel, and I love his work as well. Hard to believe (except by looking at him) that he is just recently fully licensed as a chiropractor. He has a skilled touch beyond his shorter experience in the field. As for Matt and Kyle, the primary Chiro Assistants who lead you in rehab exercises, they are great. They have continually been receptive to my feedback, working with me to find exercises that help me. If something is too hard for you or causes you pain, definitely speak up and they will adjust to find what works for you. This is not a "PT Mill" where they run you through the same routine over and over without really checking on you. The exercises are geared toward you and are adjusted as you are doing better or worse on any given day. Lastly, the app. I can't tell you how much I typically hate apps as part of a healing regimen. This one is the exception: 1) The clinic and admin staff are really responsive to questions in the messaging feature. 2) The exercises are actually good and come in a manageable regimen that also let you skip when you need to just do a couple. 3) They ask you, when all exercises for the day are either completed or skipped, "was this exercise too easy, just right, or too hard?" And guess what? If you say too easy or too hard, the next day you'll log on and find a new exercise in place of that one, but focusing on the same basic elements as the previous one, either in a more gentle or more rigorous way, depending. 4) Rescheduling appointments (or making new ones) through the app is extremely simple and very quick. That's all I'll say for the purposes of this review, but hopefully the length of the review itself and the time I invested in writing it are also testaments to the excellent quality of Kaizo Health Chiropractic & Rehabilitation in Rockville.

HOWEVER, staff at Metro Orthopedics (MOST) were extremely helpful (even though the issue was not theirs; the mistake came from the Surg Center). Both the MOST front desk and the surgery coordinator Dorinda were very supportive. Dorinda had to spend a lot of time on the phone to get my issue resolved and finally made sure that CVS received the prescription. From this experience, and also from previous interactions, I give 5/5 starts to MOST staff.
